"Minor... Minor!" roarss Kerobian from his room in a testy voice. "Ye know... iffin I wasn't sterile, I'd sure be now... this means war, Hopian... ye wait... I'm going to claim revenge and yer not going to know when or where or how... but I will get even."
Tam closes the door with a sigh and shakes his head. "He's serious, Hope. He's got a nasty burn patch in a very obvious spot right now. I don't think I want to be you right now... nope... not at all."

*Hopian rolls his eyes...Kero shares his blood, and thus a part of his immunity to lightning...the shock would have hurt, but not as much as he's hamming it up to be*
I can deal with revenge....as long as he doesn't do permanent damage.

Tam nods. "I know.. and it really is nothing more than burnt hair... smelly... and a bit tender... but he's not curled up in a ball weeping... more like he's plotting.... see you all in the morning. Ye have everything ye need?"

"Good... then I'm off once more... to bed that is...." Tam starts to say but Bez's soft "That's what he thinks..." makes him blush deeply.
"Well I am going to bed..." moans Tam sheepishly. "Just... well... maybe not right to sleep...."
This time Bez comment of "Yer damn right yer not..." turns him even redder.
Bez...." he starts to say, when the the panther sticks his head back down with a wicked grin.
"Well, are ye coming or not?"

"Thanks for the advice... I'll have to remember that..." chuckles Bez with an ear splitting grin that makes Tam edge for the front door. "Oh no yer not..." growls the panther sweetly. "Ye made me a promise, Ai.... no more running... for either of us..."
Sighing heavily, but smiling slightly at the same time, Tam heads for the stairs. "Just so ye remember that works two ways...."
"Huh?" says Bez in confusion.
"If I don't run... you can't either..." laughs Tam, giving Hopian a wink. "Good night everyone.... we'll try to keep the circus down to a dull roar."

Everyone else is asleep...and I'll be following them....be as loud as you want...and Bez...remember, a snow lioness likes it fast and hard...as much as possible...I would know...Kero taught me about all Lion species and their habits in that area...chiefly for a laugh...but still...go fast, hard, and don't ever stop, no matter what she says.

Tam turns back half way up the stairs. "You my friend are no friend...." Then he laughs merrily. "And I seem to remember a certain male who'd come to the cottage because his fem was being a bit demanding as well... " With that he slips up stairs, still chuckling and the cottage falls into a peaceful sleepy quiet.... almost."

*Hopian is asleep...but Kero isn't...and he is stretching his ears with relish...for his first ascension increased his senses somewhat...including his hearing...not a pin drops in that cottage now without him knowing...and he listens in, hearing....*

Not much, really... just a few extra creaks, sighs and moans. Bez knows his mate better than to follow Hopian's suggestions when Ai is not in heat. Doing that would probably land him out in the garden on his ear. He's taking his time and avoiding his instincts.

The next morning finds Tam and Bez busy in the kitchen, fixing breakfast long before anyone else has gotten up. Bez is whistling and Tam's features have softened considerably, kind of gotten a touch curvy as well, but are still quite masculine in many aspects. Ai is finding no trouble slipping into the lioness form, but the Talesian shell has remained unchanged for so long, it is hard to adapt it to her needs.

Bez laughs. "Quite well, thank you... you sleep well?"
Tam shakes his (or is it her) head. Things are going to be a bit confusing for a time, it seems. "Him... he sleeps like a log. Why are you up so early, Taro? We were going to surprise everyone with cinnamon buns."
And true to Tam's remark, the kitchen is smelling quite yummy.
