Yuri ran up to her house, laughing a little as she turned around and looked at Alex, who wasn't far behind.
"You. . .you don't like listening, do you?" he asked, a little out of breath as he stopped by the girl.
"You're one to talk," Yuri said, rolling her eyes. Then, without warning, she tackled Alex, laughing happily as she just stayed on top of him.
"That. . .hurt!" Alex winced a little bit, his eyes shut. When he opened them again, he saw Yuri had a worried look on her face. "I'm fine, I swear. But next time, wait until we get into the house? At least the carpet's not as hard," he said with a small smile.
"Fine, fine," Yuri said, a sigh of relief escaping her as she got up off of Alex and stood up to open the door. "You alright?"
"Well, I could barely move before, and now I just plain can't," Alex laughed, managing to sit up. He looked behind him and found the railing, using that to stand up a little shakily. "And yet, I'm fine."
"Uh-huh." Yuri opened the door, pushing it out of the way before offering to help Alex walk over, the boy taking her hand and Yuri leading the way into the house, closing the door behind them and heading to the living room. "You rest there, and I'm going to change. Because I feel really dirty right now," she said, dropping her transformation and looking at the oversized shirt again. She smiled before running off to her room, closing the door behind her and picking out a fresh change of clothes (a brilliant white dress) and undressed out of the over-sized clothes.
Alex smiled as he sat down on the couch, waiting. Exhaustion swept over him and he lay down on it instead, one hand over his stomach and the other touching the ground, his eyes closed. At this point, he was trying his best not to pass out. He opened his eyes again and found that things weren't as clear as before, the temptation of sleep too great as he closed his eyes, falling asleep.
Out of his pocket, a small ring fell onto the ground next to his hand.
Yuri came back out of the bedroom, her hair let down and a white headband on her head as she walked back to the living room. When she found Alex asleep, she only smiled, until she found the ring next to his hand. Walking over to his side, she knelt down and picked up the ring, looking at it curiously before looking at Alex. "You're too shy, you know that?" she said softly, putting the ring on her ring finger, feeling quite happy as she stood up and sat on the couch before lying down on Alex, closing her eyes and falling asleep as well.
