I'm currently reading The Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison. It's pretty much about racism in America in the 50's. I find stuff like that enlightening, but it's usually not my cup of tea. So, I find it kind of weird I'm really enjoying this book. The maincharacterguy keeps getting slapped by reality, and he still somehow manages to be a super-idealistic little tard. I can't really decide if I like him or not. He seems to care about money/fame/being held high in society more than about actually helping people. :/
I also really heart Haruki Murakami, and I seem to keep reading things by Tom Robbins. But I can't buy anything else by them yet, since I've got (literally) stacks of books in my room to read. Urrrg. x.X
