Rin waved as Faith went back to the dorms. "Tomorrow then!" Looking back at Mizuki and Erin, she smiled. "Mizuki, Erin; let's head over to my dorm room so I can get my class schedule. Then we'll part from there." She started to walk towards the dorms slowly, so that the two girls could follow her with ease.

"Bye!" Mizuki watched as Alex walked away from the small group. "I think we might have scared him off." She muttered, turning back to the girls. Right after Alex, Faith left as well. "See you!" Their group was shrinking as the seconds went by. Now the remaining three girls were heading back to the dorms, two of them following Rin. As she walked, Mizuki replied, "I've already memorized my schedule, lucky me." She rolled her eyes, but was smiling cheerily at the same time, so it downplayed her sarcastic comment a bit.
(( Darn me and my writer's block. -bangs head against a wall until she bleeds- ))

((Grah. Sorry about that. X_x Long week. It should be better next week, though. ^^; ))
"I never did ask what you had, Mizuki-chan. I have English 2, Writing, Trig, World History, Chemistry, Theater, Computer, and Choir." The brunette recited aloud as if reading a billboard. "Do you have any classes with me? I really hope so! I mean... I don't want to be alone, 'cause I'm not that good at meeting people..." Aaron continued to play with his hair nervously.

"He'll get over it," she chirped over her shoulder, in reponse to Mizuki's comment about Alex.
Inwardly, Rin cringed, feeling a little like a failure when she heard both Mizuki and Erin had memorized their schedules. Maybe I shouldn't have read and doodled... Never thought of memorizing my schedule. But choir? Puzzled that she hadn't heard of there being a choir, Rin fell into step beside the other two girls just as they reached the dorm entrance.
"Sorry to interrupt, Erin... But I heard you mention choir. I love to sing, and I'd love to join it! Do you think I'd be too late?" She smiled as they ascended the staircase to the room hallway. "I hope I have some classes with you both as well; I guess I should have taken some time to memorize my schedule earlier."

Faith itched at her thigh, irritated that something had awoken her. Opening her eye a crack, she saw an arachnid creeping up her leg. A large wolf spider, about the size of her palm. Normally, she would have squealed and run out the door, but no. The damn thing had woken her up. Glaring at it, she brushed it onto the bed with a hand, reaching for the lamp on the bedside table as she pulled, the plug detatching itself from the wall. Darkness returned to the room, not something she had thought about. Swiftly, she brought the lamp down on the bed, smashing it repeatedly onto the spot she last saw the spider until she felt something on her arm. Growling, she brushed it off again, her eyes adjusting to the light as she saw it land.
With one last swoop of the lamp, the spider's life had ended.
"That's what you get, b*****d," She said angrily as she put the lamp back down on the floor and turned over, careful not to lay on its corpse as she tried to fall back asleep.

Anya was touched by the kind words Leigh had said about her. It's like she knows me better than I do Anya folded her legs indian style as she watched Leigh unpack and listened to what she was saying.
"Other than your special someone, did you meet anyone else today?" Leigh said to her. Anya shook her head. "I saw a couple of students and heard some girls in this dorm but I didn't actually meet anyone." Anya replied glancing out the window at the gathered students,"It was really only Alex that I met."
Anya smiled to herself at the thought of Alex and looked at Leigh. "You have to meet Alex one day, you would like him." Wait, would she like him? Anya thought I don't even know alot about him. What's going to happen between us when we finally see each other again?
Anya was disheartened by these new worries but she brightened up for Leigh. Anya didn't like to worry other people. "Leigh, What do you know about this school?"

"Alex eh? That's a good name. I generally like everyone, so don't worry." She said, guessing her next thought. "And with the size of this school, I'll probably meet him sooner rather than later. Plus, with the two of you together, I bet he'll be sneaking in here once or twice," she winked at Anya, enjoying the blush that comment caused.
Leigh noticed her change of attitude, and wondered if perhaps things were not as great as the first day made them out to be. Deciding not to make her new friend and roommate feel worse, she smoothly accepted the change of topic.
"About the school? Not much really. Even though I was here last year. Well, doubtless Alex already told you that the staff don't approve of relationships. At all. No kissing, hugging, or even holding hands in the halls unless you want dentention for a month. The school's rep for education is exact though. The teachers are all well qualified, and have extensive backgrounds of schooling and experience. You'll get to know quickly which teacher's are mean, which ones are nice, and those that will hate you know matter how smart and nice you are." She paused in her speech as she pulled her shirt over her head.
"It's not that bad really. Way better than a public high school. Most of us become friends quickly, and form tight bonds. Which is nice. Classes are small, it's easy to concentrate, and someone is always around to help with the homework. It's good. Just don't ever let them catch you and Alex, okay? I'd rather not see a nice girl like you get expelled for having a little fun." Leigh slid onto her bed, tossing off the comforter and blanket, leaving just the sheet. It was getting late, and car trips always were tiring.

Aaron pondered, wondering how exactly public schools changed schedules. "But anyway, I'm glad someone I know is going to be in choir with me." He giggled a little. "I'm a little nervous about singing in front of other people, since I like to sing, even though my voice is terrible." Aaron quickly pulled out a hairtie and braided his hair, before noting, "I'm sorry, my hair was getting in my way. Where was I? Oh yes, my singing. Well, my stepfather says that my voice is average, but nothing special. I'm sure he's right, after all, he goes to the opera regularly. But I never get to go, he says that the people there are too haughty for me to be seen with." With that little piece of his family history out of the way, he fell silent as they continued to walk.

Restless blue spheres opened slowly, a slightly glazed sheen fading slowly away to clearness. They flicked to the left, spying an anolog clock adorned on the wall. 'Three forty-seven...' the young man's mind said with a slight tone of annoyance. 'I guess it can't be helped.' he mused silently, pushing himself from the bed and walking straight to the door without even looking to see if his roommate had arrived or not.
Slipping out into the dark corridor, the youth walked slowly into the commons, continuing until he arrived at the front entrance, which he promptly pushed open to slide out into the cool, peaceful night. Or early morning, rather. It was calm and tranquil, the splash of the fountain making a soothing sound as it cascaded down upon itself. The dark young man walked slowly to the fountain, his crystalline irises sparkling in the moonlight that reflected from the waters. With a tired sigh, he lowered himself onto the rim of the fountain, closing his eyes and letting his senses take over.

Stupid thing... Faith frowned, opening her eyes, Now I can't get back to sleep...
Sitting up in bed, she rubbed her eyes and yawned. She glanced outside, groaning when she saw darkness through the window. Removing the sheets, she turned to sit at the edge of the bed with her legs dangling off the side. The darkness inside the room starting to get to her, Faith stood and grabbed a robe from the closet.
Slipping it on, she crept through the building, cautious not to be detected as she went through the door. A cool breeze of night air gently brushed her cheeks, awaking her fully as she sat on a bench. Being in the midst of the evening always seemed to soothe her, and she hoped it would calm her now. Sitting on a bench near the large water fountain, she laid back and let her long blonde hair be blown by the wind, whipping through her tangled mane and across her neck.
She smiled, ocean blue eyes staring up at the heavens as she began to count the stars. She knew it was futile to try, but it was something to keep her mind busy as she wrapped the blue silk robe tighter around her.
1..2..3..4..
Out of the corner of her eye, Faith spotted something moving near the fountain. Alarmed, she sat upright and squinted to try to see what it was. Yet she saw nothing...
Maybe it was my imagination...
Ignoring it, her gaze returned to the heavens where she resumed counting.

Eyes twitching open in annoyance, the youth tilted his head to the right, spying the back one's blonde-haired head, aparently a woman. 'So much for my peaceful night...' he thought darkly, turning back upwards and resuming his meditative state with closed lids. He really didn't care much for company at all, and would much rather just lay as he was and think. 'Then again...People are stupid...' grumbled his thoughts.
Kicking his legs up, long coat swishing slightly as he did so, he layed his right leg out straight, the other bent up at the knee, the foot of which was set right alongside the other. His hands snaked behind his head, a soft sigh escaping his thin pale lips as he did so. 'Two and a half hours to go...'

Faith heard something, jumping to her feet.
What the hell was that?!?
Alarmed, she looked for something to defend herself with, yet saw found nothing. So instead she hid behind the bench, afraid to move as she tried to catch her breath. She listened and waited, leaning back against the bench. After a few minutes, the adrenaline began to die down, fatigue washing over her as she closed her eyes and began to fall asleep beneath the stars. She laid down in the soft grass and curled up, drifting off slowly without a single thought to the fact that she had school tomorrow.

Rin wondered what the office people would be like, especially after meeting the headmistress. Old and stuffy? I wonder if the headmistress told them about me. I hope not; what a bother.
"I'll do that, Erin. But don't say things like that! I'm sure your father loves you very much, and that he wants you to be able to sing without feeling pressure from the... fancy shmancy opera singers. I don't think someone as nice as you could have an average singing voice."
They reached her room. Rin walked in, noting that her roommate wasn't back yet; it was exactly as she had left it. She gestured for Mizuki and Erin to come in. "Go ahead and sit on my bed if you want to. I'm not fussy about things like that." Picking up her bag, she searched through it for a bunch of papers. Leafing through them with a look of concentration, Rin finally found her schedule.
She brandished it in the air triumphantly. "Thanks for waiting! Here it is... Hmm, English 2, Advanced Literature, Advanced Writing, Calculus, Biology, Physical Science, Chemistry, Computer Class..." She looked up at the two girls. "I don't remember. Do I share any classes with you two?"

Mizuki nodded. "Sure you can. Just ask up at the office before the end of the week. They'll set it up for you to join the class."
"I agree, and it's only one opinion, anyway, so you shouldn't take him too seriously. I bet you're a great singer!" She paused for a moment to brush a stray strand of hair out of her eyes. "Maybe he just likes different kinds of music than you like to sing. Personally, I never did care for opera much. Too formal for my tastes."
She took a seat in one of the two desk chairs. "Oh, I'm in English 2, Basic Literature, Algebra 2, American History, Advanced Art, Chemistry, Theater, Choir. That means that I'm in four of your classes, Erin, and I'm in two of your classes, Rin." Mizuki replied with a grin, looking to each girl in turn. She was glad that she'd met two people that she could get along with and that she'd share at least a couple classes with. It was a nice start to the school year.

"If you two really say so, then I suppose it might be true... even though you haven't heard me sing yet." The crossdresser smiled, fiddling with his hair again. "But I'm pretty sure my stepfather's right. After all, he knows a lot more about things than I do, especially when it comes to the fine arts. He's always at plays and operas and art auctious... he's very prestigious when it comes to those things."
But Aaron winced when Rin mentioned Sir as his "father" and that Sir loved him, of all things. "No... no... I really don't think my stepfather loves me as much as you say he does... he's very, well... strict. And he's always strict. I can't think of a time when he said that he loved me... even when I was a little child, I can't think of an instance." Aaron knew they wouldn't believe him, and would say he was over-exaggerating. People did that a lot when he told them the truth.
They got to Rin's room and Aaron sat in the other desk chair, not wanting to intrude on Rin's living space. "Ah, well, I'll have three classes with you, if you add Choir... but if not, then we'll have two - Computer and English 2. Oh! That would mean all three of us would be together, wouldn't it?" He giggled a little at his naivete. "Silly Aaron."
