"D-do you get the feeling we're being . . ." Her words trailed off. Though she had been looking around trying to place where that feeling of eyes on her was coming from, she happened to look in time to see his grin falter. "Nothing too difficult, I hope." The elf reached up and brushed a thumb along his cheek. Her next words came out in a soft concerned manner. "Nef, are you okay?" There's a pause before she gives him a small smile. "I'm nearly always playing ribbons alone. Why, sweet Nef, were you wanting to play?" Her eyelashes are batted teasingly to match her tone.

"Less of a trick and more of a skill, my dear. But, I would not wish to bore you with such details, either," the prince replied, leading her back in step now that his pocket square had been returned. "I am curious, however, how you found your way to this ball if you have been away from this scene for so long." He smiled. "You seem amiable enough, and chivalry is not dead. Surely this is not the first time a door has been opened a door for you?"

Her circling stopped once she was in front of you again. "That is a daunting task. We should go driving once. I have never driven a car before. I think it would be fun."

She giggled at the response, "Perhaps. Though for all my years knowing him and his appetite, I can say for my own share I am happy he moderates himself." Ah, so she had heard correctly earlier. The smile that played on her lips was graceful and slightly mysterious, as if she had a secret that she was unwilling to share as she curtsied politely, "That is a lovely name. It is a pleasure to meet you." Whether she made the connection between the name of the senshi and the redhaired woman in front of her was anyone's guess. She straightened from her curtsy, her own ruby eyes meeting the ones of the woman in front of her. "If I may be so bold...I noticed you have been an observer for most of the evening. Are you waiting on someone?"

"Regardless of the reason, that is still quite a shame," he replied. He kept his eyes leveled with hers. "And so long as what you say is true, you are welcome here." There was no sign of warning or suspicion in his voice- he genuinely meant what he said. He was aware at least to a degree of the baggage this woman carried, yet he didn't seem to mind at all. Rather, it was almost as if he was used to it, like he had danced with danger and dangerous women before and lived to tell the tale. Perhaps he even benefited from it. With the music having come to an end, he stepped back to bow, keeping the woman's hand in his as he bowed, placing a kiss upon the back of it. "Thank you for the dance," he said before pulling away and letting go of her hand. On her glove where his fingers had touched, there was a slight shimmer of stardust, about as much as was on the pocket square she had taken.

The Phantom was flabbergasted by your lack of interest. Then again, her reaction was no surprise; as a ghost, she could not share your fears. "But you must. They are everywhere. You will need one for transportation." Her gaze flickered to Kate, "I think Kate could teach us. It would be great fun!"

"Spoilsport."

"Thank you..." the knight replied before motioning to a little ways off. When they would arrive in the quiet corner she would launch into the conversation between Phantom and Clara, explaining that she now knew about their being joined, and now separated. "That is something that could help me save a very dear friend of mine. Madam Clara said you were not the one to grant her form, which would help another friend in a simular situation, but I just need this one to be separated from the parasite that has a hold on him before I completely lose him. If...you could, I would be eternally indebted to you."
