"Uh... I guess so," Shínbào said shyly, slipping nervously underneath the covers, a bit surprised at how warm they were. "So... what do you want to know?" he said shyly, glancing with a hint of nervousness at the storm as he shivered slightly, wincing a bit.

Lalia Lalia heard the storm then snuggled up to him. "I don't like storms."she said. She was hoping it would pass soon. "Tell be about Key West...what is it like."she said. Lalia wanted to know more about his home as much as she could.

"It's not that impressive. It's mostly hotels, bars, beaches, and pretty much tourism related things. There are hotels that are supposedly haunted, though I don't mind it too much. There are bars that are related to different celebrities, like Margaritaville being related to a strong country artist, Jimmy Buffet," Shínbào said shyly. He exhaled softly, grimacing as he heard the storm outside as he wasn't that fond of them at all. He wasn't that sure how to react to Lalia snuggling up to him.

LaliaLalia smiled softly at him then nodded her head. "Sounds nice, a lot like this place. My home is way different from yours. Mine is in the water."she said. She was curious if he wanted to know more or not.

LaliaLalia smiled then nodded her head. "I can take you there but it is quite the swim. Maybe my aunt will let us use the boat."she said. She blushed as she brushed her hair back for her. "Maybe take you to one of the sunken ships."she said.

"Meh, a little exercise isn't going to hurt," Shínbào said shyly, though his voice held an amused edge to it. He looked thoughtful about the sunken ships. He took a slow, soft breath as his gaze drifted to the ceiling. "I don't know too much about my family, as they're... well... dead, although... recently, I've been... developing odd talents. Sometimes, when I clear my mind, which... recently hasn't been that easy since my senses seem to randomly sharpen or dull," he said softly, frowning slightly.

LaliaLalia snuggled closer when he mentioned that his family was dead. "I'm sorry to hear that. Though once the storm blows over, I will take you to my home. Though the boat will help since it is quite the journey."she said. She nuzzled his neck as she snuggled closer.

"Makes me glad I advanced the suit more than my father's tests did. He had only had it so it would draw limited water from an internal tank which made it too bulky. I developed the synthetic gills and placed them in just above the wrists on the inner forearms since when you swim, you most often use your arms, the movement actually enhancing the use. Better, I don't really have to replace it since the gills actually regenerate through nitrogen absorption, which at high depths is more prevalent, though I haven't tested the suit at a deeper depth than two thirds of a mile deep, roughly four thousand feet below the surface," Shínbào said shyly.

LaliaLalia was surprised and was excited to see the suit. "Interesting, I can't wait to see it. Don't worry I'll be right there."she said. She smiled at him before resting her head on his chest. Lalia yawned softly as she got comfortable. "Now get some sleep, you'll need it."she said.

Shínbào didn't reveal that he'd found a way to 'seal' the suit so that he was wearing it even when he wasn't. "So do you, though I don't really see you needing beauty sleep," Shínbào said shyly, blushing as he said it.

LaliaLalia blushed then smiled at him. "Good night."she said.She kissed his cheek softly before placing her head back down on his chest. Lalia yawned before she drifted off to sleep.

Shínbào exhaled softly, his eyes drifting closed, though almost the same moment that they started to, his eyes widened for a moment, their dark sapphire color paling to a pale pupiless silvery white that looked blind before they darkened again as his eyes slid closed, his breathing deepening in sleep. "Hope the storm blows itself out."
Shínbào's eyes fluttered before snapping open as he inhaled sharply, seeing the early morning light.

LaliaLalia was sound asleep until morning and had stayed close to him through the night. She slowly woke up, rubbed her eyes then snuggled closer. Lalia wasn't a big morning person and to be honest she was comfortable.

Shínbào sighed softly, stretching a bit before he exhaled softly, his eyes drifting almost closed before he felt Lalia snuggling closer to himself. He blinked, a bit surprised as he glanced at the girl. "No more storm, thankfully," he deadpanned, tilting his head so soft, sharp pops followed.
