Sammy stared at the ceiling awkwardly and blew the bangs off her forehead with an upward sigh. "Ehh, we could try...but I may need you to sign a waver first." He stood of his own volition and spun her toward the door. Blinking, she got her bearings quickly from the unexpected turn. "Thank you for the meal, Sammy my dear." his voice said from above her. It was a good thing he couldn't see her, because there was no stopping the dorky grin from parting her lips. "My pleasure." she managed to say somewhat coolly, forcing it down to a mere smile.OOC: *sigh* Ain't that the truth? uou;

Letting her hands go, he gestured for her to go first.
"You are too kind. Please, after you."
He'd follow her out, then walk beside her. A nice walk back would be good after such a good meal.
((Yes, it does make me wonder if they'll do anything at all. ))

Sammy thanked the person who seated them as they passed through the front entrance and out into the cool air. Breathing deeply, she moved to the edge of the sidewalk to make room beside her for Tobias. "It may not be spring yet, but the weather sure has gotten nicer." she said appreciatively as they started back toward his place.OOC: B-but...how could they not...? ｡◕n◕｡

"So it has. I wonder when flowers will begin to bloom."
Thinking of his fortune, he smiled and stretched his arms up for a moment. Bringing them down again, he looked over at her.
"Do you prefer warmer weather?"
((They've glossed over holidays before. ))

Sammy swayed to the side a little, giving him room when she sensed him move his arms. Smiling across at him before facing forward again, she casually scanned the area for signs of plant life. The trees along the streets hadn't gotten their leaves back yet, and the flower pots were barren like he said. "Winter is beautiful, but the cold is harsher on me than heat, I'll admit."OOC: Gaia...no...say it ain't so... OTL

Sammy shook her head. "It's not worse per say. Just some people are more prone to being warmer and some cooler, so I guess things are trickier for me in the winter." She stopped in her tracks about halfway back to his place, staring across the street, seemingly distracted by something. A bright glare hit her in the eyes so she shielded them with her hand, squinting to see what the sign on the building said... "What's going on over there?" Her face lit up when she realized what it was. Disco ball. Spinning around, she looked up at Tobias with bright, eager eyes. "Is this new? Did you know there was a dance hall so nearby?"OOC: Don't worry, I still have tricks up my sleeve...
Really? Hooray! *glomps and nuzzles* Oh uh, sorry. *lets go and brushes you off*

"I was not aware of it, no. Heh, did you want to go have a look?"

There was something about his response that seemed a little...off...but being so distracted by her new discovery it was quickly forgotten. At least for the moment. ((I figured, though the mental image of Sammy trying to do that and looking dejected did make me feel a little bad. Though it was slightly amusing at the same time. I am just terrible some times. ))

It had certainly been an interesting evening. Tobias mused over the previous night's dance and all that had gone on.
The smokey male was just sort of wandering around his room, relaxing after having been solid so long. Much had gone on and it left him pondering things. Dancing with Sammy, Charlie cutting in for a dance, and asking him out for a date, then finding Sammy had disappeared. He sighed, not sure exactly what to make of things right then. Perhaps outside perspective was needed.
Momentarily he made himself solid and picked up his cell. Looking at the screen a moment, he started to text.
Hello, Rae my dear. I have tea if you have time.
Little else would be needed, she would most likely answer and know he was asking her to stop by if she had free time. Setting his phone on the coffee table, he faded back to smoke.
