"You mean thoughts alike those of how sweet you are, and how lovely you look this evening?"

Dr Sciurus

She couldn't help but giggle, no matter how morbid his humor may be. There was something rather childish about him, somehow, and for some reason she felt no fear of him, though she probably should. "You are too cute." She said, as she lift her mask a tad to have a sip of the sweet brew. "Though I need no help to shop groceries, dear. I can go to the store tomorrow." Though she probably wouldn't. The Freak rarely went shopping unless she was all out of tea, though she would usually have a rather desperate cup of hot water and sugar before she finally gave in. But of course, with all the guests she was having lately, she actually might go as far as to buy some food, even.

(Point being? I somehow created a delusional redhead, yet people seem to find her cute all the time. xD
F: They find me what...?
Nevermind, dear. You really don't wish to know...)

{xD well she's very pretty, and your way with words is amazing dear <3 Besides, she seems more like just the pleasant strange type the the rabid violent attack people & mutter to themselves delusional
S: Perhaps it is just our audience is naive and desensitized to violence and strangeness. People seem to love the anons though, whatever the characters might be like.}

He arched a brow at her manner. He had hinted using someone's skin and bones as a crude umbrella for his own benefit. A bad person, yes, but a person nonetheless, and she thought he was adorable? He dimly wondered what horrors the soul behind that mask had witnessed. "I wouldn't be so sure about that, you've never seen me on duty." The surgeon drank some tea, letting his throat burn like a fine whiskey. "Fair enough then. Is your fridge still adequately stocked? Enough supplies on hand?"

Dr Sciurus

(Don't flatter me like that, or my head might explode!
F: Writer dear, I highly doubt it would...
But are you absolutely certain?
F: *sighs*
THE CASE. I REST IT.)

"If anyone could ever look pristine around open flesh, I am certain that would be you." She said with another giggle, as if it wasn't at all a strange thing to utter. Though the merry tone in her voice ran off in shame at the mention of her refridgerator. "I... I have what I need." She mumbled, trying to avoid the mention of the endless void that laid beyond that appliance door. She never quite understood the way people reacted to her diet, or lack thereof. And this even though she would most certainly drag anyone else by the ear who had forgotten their breakfast.

The Freak took another sip of her sweetened tea, trying to find ways to change the subject. This was something she was usually rather bad at, as people weren't so easily fooled as she wished them to be. With a glance out the window, she could think of only one normal thing to say. "What lovely weather we are having." Though mere seconds after speaking, she realised how abnormal it actually sounded. Is mask-palming a thing? Is it okay if I do it? She quickly took another sip of tea, trying to pretend that she never spoke at all.

Gypsy_Kt

"It is. Part of it... If all my thoughts could be that lovely, I could speak forever." She said with a giggle.

{That wouldn't be good, emotion_8c might get brain chunks in your tea.
S: Writer, that's not helping. But if their head does explode, at least I'm nearby to help.
But you're not a brain surgeon, what could you do?}

"Sure... Long as I don't get any of it all over me." Sciurus said, sipping his tea doubtfully. "Surgery is a messy business." He arched the slightest of brows at her tone. It was apparent social protocol to have concern over another's well being, but it really wasn't his business. Still, if she ever slept, he might have to sneak back in and have a look for himself.

He was about to say something in return when she mentioned the window. He looked out at the weather beyond and had to stop himself for a minute, not to look at her as if she had gone nutts. Nice day? It was raining outside. Although that was good for him since the sun had gone. "I suppose plants need their water..."

(Perhaps then Orrin would finally have some tea with me...
F: Writer, that... That is just cruel.
What? If he's going to steal my cup all the time, he might as well enjoy some. And with a bit of brain, how could he resist? :T)

For a brief moment, she was humming the intro to 'Singing in the Rain', before snapping out of it. "Oh, but it's not just the plants, my dear. When it rains, the toads are having such a feast, too. And the snails head out into the world on their own adventures. You can walk through an empty street, hearing nothing by the pittering and pattering against the pavement. You can sing aloud, and no one would hear you. As if nothing else exist in that moment, nothing but the rain and you..." She got carried away again, as she often would when speaking of the things closest to her heart. And to her, the rain carried so much more than toads and snails. For it was only out in such weather, where no one could see or hear her, that she set herself free. She would run around in the puddles 'til her rain boots filled up with water, shout back at the roaring sky and even, yes even take off her mask, if only for a while.

"I thought you weren't on such good terms with the sun, my dear. Then what sort of weather would you prefer?"

Gypsy_Kt

"Oh? I am quite fond of it, myself. It was a gift from someone dear to me..." She blushed a bit behind the mask, giving her male visitor a brief glance. "If only all my dresses were this fancy..."

{Lol xD that's something I'd expect outta Sciurus
S: No, really you'd expect me to carve her brains out and offer them to him for a snack, but that would be rude.
I uh... Couldn't help it. /runs like hell, took so long to reply cause of this/

"And best of all, you don't get sun burnt." Sciurus had no interest in snails or wild life, and he'd only been interested in dissecting toads until he'd moved on to much bigger game. "I don't mind risking pneumonia to dance in it, but rain means I can run errands and kidnap people easier. Call me what you will, but I prefer hurricanes. Lovely to see mother nature dishing out all that violence and energy. And if there are people in the way, it serves to give me work and perhaps spare parts."

The blue door bursts open and standing in the doorway is an outlandish, Piratey woman. Lighting a cigarette and taking a puff, she speaks, "Ahoy, be this the quarters o' The Sweet Freak? I believe I received a sort o' benefaction from said Sweetness, and I'd like ta thank the bein' fer such a lovely message."

(YOU ARE SO AMAZING! All my love is yours. ALL OF IT. emotion_kirakira
F: Writer, please... *sighs and maskpalms*)

While the Freak rarely gut sun burns nowadays, what with the mask, long dresses and gloves, she did remember them being a bit of an annoyance in her youth, as she did tan oh so easily. But she couldn't help but giggle a slight at the thought of the Doctor dancing in the rain. Why, thinking of him dancing at all seemed somewhat out of place, as if someone must have forced him into it. "Ah, a hurricane, how lovely... To hear the sky roaring, of all the rage it's storing. To feel it tugging at your clothes, where it leads you, no one knows. The waves are crashing out at sea, each leaf on ground is flying free. The roaring sky, the crumbling ground. Like carousel, goes 'round and 'round..." She stopped for a moment, only now realising that she has been speaking in rhyme. "I suppose it suits you somehow." She said, with a smile hidden behind the mask.

Gypsy_Kt

"Oh, you truly are too kind, Miss Gypsy..." She said as she blushed a bit more. "Though I have not your amazing sense for fashion."

The Lusty Pirate -anon-

The Freak looked over at the door flying open, without reacting much to it. The woman that walked in, however, quickly got her attention. After all, how could she not be thrilled to have a pirate visiting? "I believe that Freak is I, fair Ma'am." She said, taking a little bow. "However, you surely needn't be thanking me."

Sweet my dear, how are you?
It has been quite some time since we've spoken, true!
I've missed reading the words from behind that mask,
Your words so charming, a delightful draught from a literary flask.

And lo, do I spy within these tiny pixel frames,
A note from one who leaves no names?
A poem dripping with honey sweet,
Why, it could be from none other than my darling Freak, what a treat!

These petals of soft, brilliant white,
Do lighten my heart on this dark summer night,
And so, my Sweet, without much more adieu,
I wish you a happy Midsummer too!

She grins broadly and bows, sweeping her hat grandly in front of her. "Well I be quite pleased ta make yer acquaintanceship, Ms. Freak. I be The Lusty Pirate, although ye may call me Lusty if ye like." She replaces her hat and adds, "And o' course I be needin' ta thank ye. A Pirate never forgets the kindness paid ta her. So thank ye."

Leaning against a far wall and taking another puff of her cigarette, she notes, "Why, it seems ye've got a fair bit o' company in this here room. Ye must be quite popular."

Writing you, my greatest joy
To share these words with someone dear
To speak aloud, am much too coy
So I write the words you cannot hear

This summer filled with magic sights
And lovely things to do
The darkness taken down by lights
The finest being you

If I would pick more flowers yet
And bring them all to thee
In the place where we once met
By carvings in a tree

Say, would you stay there by my side?
And never run away
Then I would pick for you with pride
Another white bouquet
