Volt looked away coyly. "Oh nothing, nothing. Say, WHAT'S THAT OVER THERE?!" When he turned to face the direction she was pointing she slipped behind him and started brushing his long dark hair in preparation to braid.

Xashowd instinctively turned in the direction Volt indicated, only to feel something upon his hair a few moments later...he sensed someone closer to him. Was Volt...brushing his hair? " Uhhh...Volt? Why are you brushing my hair?" He asked, somewhat worried.

Xashowd's jaw dropped when he saw that Volt was braiding his hair. What the...I know my hair is long, but damn! He thought, both surprised and scared at the same time. " Aahhhh....Uhh...I..uh...really don't need braids, Volt..." He said, albeit somewhat nervously.

It flowed in the wind better. Still, Volt had wanted to relieve herself of her boredom, and this was how she chose to do it. It wasn't dangerous, just a little unnerving. " Alright...but only for a few hours, okay?" Xashowd conceded in a calm tone. He wondered what his hair would look like when she was done, partly out of curiosity, and partly out of worry.

"DONE!" Volt handed him a mirror so he could see for himself, as best at he could anyway. It was all behind his back after all. There was one long braid, leaving his bangs loose, tied off at the bottom with a red string. "Wellll~? Whatcha think?"

Xashowd looked in the mirror, staring at Volt's handiwork. Contrary to popular belief, Xashowd did in fact show up in mirrors. " It's...certainly different." He replied. While he wasn't fond of the change, he had to admit Volt had done a good job. A braid like this might even hold up in combat, and it wouldn't cut easily. He smiled. " But not a bad different. You did a good job!" He told her, giving her a grin.
