((Yes, it does, it seems like fate doesn't want them to be together. XD
Odessa: Oh no, of course not, it is never your fault, it is always mine!.
...you two, make up already! -_- ))
Odessa and Orion finished their lunch and had reluctantly got up and started making their way back, both had mentioned wanting to stay out longer but the day was getting on and it would soon be late afternoon and Orion had to talk to Odessa about why he was really there but...he couldn't which just made him sigh "Orion, whats the matter?" Odessa asked as Orion shook his head "nothing that can't wait, lets just enjoy the walk back" he said smiling at her, wanting to have this last as much as possible, may be the wrong thing to do but it would be a good half hour to three quarters of an hour before they got home so Orion had time to think what he wanted to say over.

Gersif stretched still trying to get use to his own skin again shadows played at the corners of his vision remnants of the other plane, they would fade soon enough. He worked on his walls again, never sure if they were best left up or down but he couldn't keep his calm distance around her without them and he felt as though he was really going to need them now. He just didn't know how long they would last or which version she would prefer. He would be less argumentative but only because he would no longer care. He built his walls as he walked not sure if he wanted to get there quickly or slowly... she made everything so complicated. Calm set in everything appeared more distance he shifted in his skin trying to set in to his old ways. His stomach growled. Crap. He hadn't eaten since breakfast with Odessa... gawd he hoped there was something left in the cave to eat that he had missed before.
After a good distance of walking he finally made it to the cave, he looked it over to see if it really was identical to the one on his spirit quest, he couldn't find anything out of place. He found it interesting but moved on to finding food before finding Odessa, walls or no walls he got more grumpy without food, survival instinct which would do him little good now. If he couldn't find anything he'd go to the lake and catch himself something instead.

((Psst! Gersif, look the several piles of books near the back of the cave, there is a stash of chocolate and candy in a big box marked 'books', she is more a baked goods fan but she does keep a rather large stash of chocolate and candy also..
Odessa: Hey! Don't tell him about that! It is marked books for a reason! Others know the ONLY books I read are things to do with Divination so they don't bother looking in there, who wants to see another few books on the subject? It was safe to hide my stash there! And since it was only me well...
Oopps, sorry. XP XD
Odessa: This is why I don't invite you around as much as you would like. -_- ))
Odessa and Orion walked back silently for the most part, taking in the scenery, enjoying each others company, it was a beautiful afternoon, what more could she ask for? Odessa looked at him and smiled a little "O...Orion..." she said, a voice in her mind telling her not to do it but she ignored it "Orion would you like to dine with me tomorrow night? Just the two of us..." She asked, blushing a little as she turned her head.
Orion stopped looking around and looked at her, smiling softly, a voice in his own mind was saying not to go there either but he chose to ignore it also "Odessa, I would love to" He said, not even going to bother about pushing her back to Gersif, his loss, they can work around the whole Oliver thing, complicated more so or not, he wasn't about to lose this woman now that he had found her.
Odessa turned back to face him "I will set it up" she said, deciding to act casual even though inside she was basically squeeing like mad "say seven?" She said, hoping it would be alright.
"Seven sounds wonderful!" He said, not sure how he was going to explain this to Sayako but meh, she had Thane, if he played his cards right he was going to have Odessa, Gersif should of treated her better...not that he had anything against Gersif just that he should of been better towards her, Odessa was, of course, free for all, if Gersif won then so be it but he wasn't about to give Odessa up yet.

((Gawd you make him out to be such an a** to odessa! Poor gersif I still love you! *hugs him too tight*
Gersif: *barely able to breath chokes out his words* Not.. the.. kind.. of.. love.. I .. need X.x))
Gersif checked all the usual places scraps left were now gone the place was cleaned out he frowned. A scent caught his attention faint bitter sweet he followed it to a stack of books in the back where a box lay. Hmm should he open it? It was clearly not meant for public use. He slid the box open checking its content. Not his usual fare but he wasn't about to be picky, the sugar would help him keep from being grumpy so he took two small pieces of chocolate and closed the box. He didn't chew them but rather sucked on them allowing them to melt in his mouth, it was an old trick of his to help satisfy his stomach with meager helpings. Once the chocolate had melted and his stomach quieted he began looking for signs of recent passage near the cave in hopes of finding her he had no luck the ground was too hard for tracks and too many paths had been made from extended use to know which one she took.
He decided on a new plan, this was her cave after all she had to come back sooner or later and as there was no food here he decided to go shopping of sorts. Grabbing an empty basket which had once held food he went out picking berries and herbs on his was to the lake grabbing a few fish from within. He thought of catching a rabbit but had a feeling the death of a soft and fuzzy creature would only set her off. Best stick to creatures unrelatable to. How would she feel about frogs? No four legs.. still too risky... insects? Probably too gross for her... birds?... He'd ask later, fish would have to do for now. He had managed a decent haul in his half hour of work the basket had a nice spread of berries and herbs which supported five fish, one he thought was a bit small but it would make a good meal for Oliver the others he was a bit proud off, this lake boasted some healthy fish around here. He picked the basket up in his mouth, it was much heavier than he expected, he was likely to get a crick in his neck from carrying it, oh well. He made his way back to the cave.

((Aww I lubs him to!! *Goes in and cuddles him also* XD
And do I? I er...should try to control that. ^^; ))
Odessa and Orion made it back to her cave and, whilst she was happy to be home she also wasn't as it meant coming back to reality and the last few hours was awesome "I had a wonderful time today, thank you for everything" she said smiling at him and then leaning over to nuzzle him "I will see you tomorrow night" she said as she licked his cheek and saw him nod, smiling at her "looking forward to it" he said as he left, leaving Odessa there as he went to talk to Sayako.
Odessa walked inside and just fell down onto her bed, right now she could just stay there and sleep, her dreams filled with how great today was.

Gersif had walked up just in time to see the nuzzle and lick. Well she certainly works fast, didn't take her long to find a replacement at all. Then it dawned on him that was the kitsu who had been laying in the grass with her earlier he almost wondered if they had 'mated' in the grass but he managed to stop the thought and push it aside it would be a bad start. He forced himself forward not sure how things would go but well.. here goes everything.
He walked into the cave setting the basket down and stretching out his neck hoping to prevent any soreness later on. "Looks like you had a good day." There was no judgment in his voice, simply stating the facts, he didn't know what else to say and with his walls built up again he wasn't able to feel the stomach churning emotions that he was sure would be there other wise. "I brought food in case your hungry." He began preparing two of the fish mixing some of the berries and herbs to create a paste which he rubbed on the fish and then rolled them in broad leaves and set them on a stone in the sun. He hadn't cooked for another in a long time.. he had rarely cooked for himself but it was one of the few skills hid grandfather had taught him so he liked to put it to use. A man who knows how to cook knows how to live. His grandpa loved saying it whenever Gersif complained about cooking and he had to admit so far it seemed like his grandfather was wrong.
A third fish he picked out and ate himself, the chocolate had helped take the edge off but now he actually had food his stomach woke up and wanted some. A few berries and herbs to go along with the fish and he was almost able to forget about her new 'friend'.. he wasn't ready to ask about him just yet.

Odessa smiled a little at him "thank you and I did, I met this most fantastic Celestial" she said happily, feeling a little more hungry now that she had come back from her walk and got up and settled herself down by the food and ate a few berries "would you be able to do me a favour tomorrow night? I have a date, Oliver will be in bed before I go and so I can read him a story and tuck him in and all but I just need someone to take care of him till I get back, he should sleep till morning and I will be back before he wakes but it is just till I return." Odessa said, not really taking much notice on whether or not he would be hurt by this, she was still, a bit, upset with him from earlier and besides, they were both still technically single, why shouldn't she be able to go out? Oliver would get two parents still he would just not know his mother was 'cheating' on his father, Gersif was the same, if he wished to go out with a girl she wasn't about to stop him either.

Gersif clenched his jaw to keep himself quiet for a moment, he chanted to himself, calm rational, don't care don't care. But when walls have been taken down around someone keeping them up is nearly impossible. He had a million counters a million reasons for her not to, but she wouldn't listen to a one so what was the point? Damnit the point was Oliver! He crunched the bones of the fish more forcefully than needed, how the hell was he going to get out of this? She obviously didn't want him and he wasn't going to be cuckold by her so what the hell would he do without hurting Oliver?? ... He should never have said yes to this, he had planned on being loyal even if it was all a sham and he had expected the same from her. He would never be the guy who cheated even in a sham relationship, simply wasn't capable of it... he had never managed to not care that much. "I would like to meet this fellow if that's alright" he managed to act as though it was no big deal. "If this guy is going to be a part of your life I'd like to know him for Oliver's sake as well as your own." Oh she would b***h that he wasn't her father and they weren't really dating so what did it matter who she dated he didn't have a say in the matter, but it wouldn't stop him from meeting the guy. Even if she was in capable in seeing that he cared for her, it wasn't going to stop him from trying to make sure she was safe and well.

Odessa stood there for a few moments, mouth open in shock, not believing what he just asked, after a few moments she shook her head to clear it and glared at him "no it isn't alright!" She said with a disgusted look on her face "You are NOT my father, you do NOT have the right to see or not see who I date! I am old enough to make up my own mind and I don't need your approval as to who I go out with! We are in this 'mateship' strictly on the benefit of Oliver, that does NOT mean you get to butt into my personal life!" She said as she got up, appetite now gone. "You may stay here if you wish but I might go see if I can find my father, maybe he and my mother will be happy to take care of Oliver for the night, it will let you off the hook then and you won't have to worry" she said as she walked out of the cave, still in disbelief that he had the nerve to ask to see who she was seeing.

Yep he knew that was coming. "Didn't say I wanted to approve of him I said I wanted to meet him. " He needed to know that Odessa was safe with this kitsu. Even if that meant following her to meet him he would, she clearly didn't give a damn about Gersif, his feelings, or his opinions but he wasn't going to snub his responsibilities because she hated him. ... in fact he hated being the stand-up guy, being walked all over and still being reliable... it was sickening, and he would have left readily if he hadn't already given his word and assumed the roll in Oliver's life. "Because of our deception he's a part of my life as much as yours and I would like to meet him. I don't plan on interrogating him or embarrassing you, but if he's going to be in our lives I would like to know him. I don't think that is asking too much." He got up to follow her, he had always done his best to speak calmly and rationally while she had always lashed out and jumped to conclusions.. he couldn't imagine what she would be like if he were to act so irrationally. They were never going to see eye to eye, and like that a switch flipped in him, he became more comfortable calmer, his walls held and he could honestly wish her well with this new male, he had become indifferent .. well not exactly he still didn't like it but his feelings towards her were less enamored and more annoyed.

That was a reason Odessa DIDN'T want to have Gersif and Orion meet, she had been with him for MOST of the day and came back happier when she left, she trusted this guy more so then she was trusting Gersif right now which said something, Odessa had, however, looked back into the cave "my business, butt out! I trust this guy, more so then I trust you right now, if it wasn't for the simple fact you can't keep your mouth shut and stay out of my business maybe I wouldn't want to get away from you so much! So no, until other wise specified, you will NOT meet him and you will NOT even hear mention of his name, now excuse me, I need to see my father." She said as she left the cave once more, this time deciding to just block him out, he wasn't worth her stress, not after she had such a wonderful day, she decided that after she had seen her father she would go for a swim, she needed to destress and that lake was always so perfect to help her to do that and then, maybe, see about going to talk to one of her friends, maybe she would be able to help calm her down and get her mind off things and back onto Orion.

Gersif shook his head, he didn't have much of a response to her comment on trust, she had only known him marginally more than this new fellow so he couldn't argue he was more trust worthy. Clearly she trusted this guy more with her emotional happiness... she couldn't seem to recognize care for what it was, indifference seemed to register better with her.. or maybe it was obedience she desired. He might mention she seemed to have just as hard of a time keeping her mouth shut.. if not significantly more than him. And he was incredibly tempted to threaten to follow her until she told him the guys name so he could at least find out more about him but it wouldn't help his cause any, maybe he could do so from Sayako or Thane... at least he hoped he could, another celestial around Odessa, it couldn't be a coincidence and he wasn't about to be dominated by an overly emotional female. "At least I'm willing to work on the issues instead of running away from them" He headed for Thane's cave first he knew the way to both Thane's and Sayako's but thought it would be better suited for 'guy talk'.

Odessa decided to leave her father alone, Oliver seemed happy to be with him so meh she would go straight to Black Rose, if there was one thing she knew about it was pain in the a** males and besides, she made the best home made green tea EVER! And if there was one thing she would love right now it was a cup of green tea so meh, she would head over there instead.
Thane had wandered away from the others for a bit, decided to go see how Gersif and Odessa were doing, hopefully they were getting along.

Gersif walked to Thane's cave hoping to find him there, he really needed to talk to another male and get some insight here, he apparently couldn't do this on his own. For some reason logic didn't apply to women. Was he really asking that much, I mean this new guy impacted all of them wither she wanted to admit it or not. For some reason she just seemed to freak out... hell even when they were having a great time at the picnic she all of a sudden changed mood and ruined the whole moment.. he really didn't get women. ... course having been alone all ones life would do that.
Reaching the cave entrance he called out "Anyone home?" he really really hoped so

Thankfully, the others were somewhere else, away from the caves, so he was safe to stop at home for a bit, he placed the bible he hadn't put away yet back on the shrine and sighed as he turned and walked out "yeah" he called as he entered the main part of the cave "can I..." he stopped as he noticed Gersif "ummm hi, Gersif, didn't Electra tell you to go spend the day with Odessa?" He asked curiously "what are you doing here?"
