Wyrm sighed, not answering. He'd hoped that his mate would havehad a better death, but apparently not. Becoming a red mist, he followed as Larkanna stood and walked to the stone bird yet again. Her face was expressionless and her mind was deep in thought. Climbing on behind him, she made sure that her herb charms would work just as well as magic ones, probably not, but it never ceased to comfort her that she might have at least a little protection.
Taking the charms, she took his hand, opened it gently with her own, and put them in the palm. "Witches aren't as easily manipulated by spirits of the dead as others are. She may also try to change the curse to make it's prophecy come into focus much swifter than originally planned."

Elkand nodded at her " Thanks!" he said and smiled before the bird took off again and it actually seemed to know where it was going. It was heading towards the grand graveyard located between each community. It used to belong to Lujei and was there when she got buried. It flew fast to get there before it stuck directly at midnight and touched down rather roughly Elkand looked at her " Here we are...the grand graveyard!" he said and hopped down excited to see Lujei for he never really had before though he was starting to feel a little better now. He wondered if Lujei would actually hlep them or if she would rather see the curse take hold and he couldn't exactly blame her for it at all.

Larkanna shrugged a little as she jumped off. Gazing around, she could feel the veil between the physical and spiritual realms become weak. If she's Wyrm's mate, then she will certainly be strong enough to pass through without any complications. Gazing at the graves, she began to walk through the cemetary, her feet making no sound. She felt like a spirit herself, weightless and lifeless. Finally, at the very back of the grand graveyard, she found Lujei's grave. Standing in front of it she close her eyes, tilted her head back, held her hands out at her sides and began to chant in a musical voice.
The air felt heavy as magic was being drained from her body and being absorbed by the spirit that she was summoning. When she'd finished chanting, she waited a moment before opening her eyes, which were no longer amber, but blind and whiter than snow. "Lujei, Icellia of Anicent Ice, show yourself before I send you back beyond the grave!" Her voice was quiet and strained, there was plenty of magical energy in the air that she could tap into, but if she wasn't careful or had her full focus on the dragon, then she was open for possession.
The spirit of Lujei stepped forward from the tombstone, her transparent body glowing slightly. "Why do you dare to disturb me, once Lujei and Icellia of Ancient Ice, young witch?"
Larkanna didn't look away, but motioned for Elkand to come closer and Wyrm formed from the red mist that had surrounded her. "We have important matters to discuss."
"Icellia..." Wyrm said in disbelief as he stepped forward, but was completely ignored by her.
Looking at Elkand, the air became cold and lifeless like herself, "My dearest Elkand. It has been a long while since we last saw each other."

Elkand stepped forward and looked at Wyrm apologetically as he noticed Icellia simply brushed him off. He stared at Icellia stunned " It-it certainly has Icellia." he said though with this ghost he felt presences both Icellia's and a much darker one. He coughed " Er...Lujei we have come for assistance with a curse you created years ago that I have been unfortunately been so unlucky as to be stuck with...would you be willing to assist us in ridding me of it?" he asked. He seemed kind of confused and a little nervous but his emotions and his mind were in a mess right now. He showed her his mark which had darkened and allowed her to look into his eyes and see the growing darkness behind them. He put his hand on his head and looked down as his head started to hurt a bit.

The spirit chuckled humorlessly, "Now why would I do that, Elkand?" Tilted her head tot he side, she took a step forward, but Larkanna put up a layer of a shield that only the living could pass through. The spirit tried to move farther, but couldn't unless she wanted to really try, so she simply shook her head sadly. "You seemed so eager to take part in that so many years ago, my dear--"
Wyrm took a step forward, growing in size until he was twice the size of any human, his eyes were saddened, "Icellia, why do you act like this? You were once kind and even pitied mortals."
Finally turning her attention to her mate, she shimmer a little and seemed to look like a dragon for only a moment before turning back into the woman that was proving to be malicious. "Because mortals did not pity me."

Elkand looked at her it saddened him to see Icellia like this when he knew her she was so kind and innocent but now she seemed mad..demented. He shook his head " Its true...mortals had no pity on you and did not listen to you when you tried your hardest to convince you that your kind were not evil...and yet they wanted you dead." he said " If I could fix it I truly would but I have no the power to undo history." he said and his head started to hurt again as he fell to his knee and when he stood up he walked past the barrier Larkanna had set up as he stood in front her " What happened to you? You seemed so at peace when you died...so happy as if even in death you could once again see your beloved...this isn't like you or at least the Icellia I knew ." he said. He looked at Wyrm " Look you may not have to care for me and my situation but at the very least have more respect for Wyrm who loves you still even after all this time." he looked over and back at her " As long as you hold that spirit you are the only one who can help." he said " I ask you again, will you help drive this curse from my body?" he stared at her. He sighed ' In return we can help you pass on in peace." he said.

Larkanna reached out and attempted to bring him back behind the barrier again, but missed by inches. Soon she wouldn't be able to hold the barrier up any more.
Wyrm suddenly growled, "A darkness surrounds her spirit, Elkand. Come back."
Icellia chuckled, this time with malice, again ignoring her past mate, "Why would I want to pass on when there are so many reasons to stay here.... My mate is still here."
"Wyrm... you must go..." Larkanna said, her voice barely a whisper. Suddenly, all her energy was sapped and she fell to her knees. Her mind was on the verge of blacking out, but she kept herself from the open arms of slumber. "She's been waiting for you, angry that I stole you.... She thinks that you're more attatched to Elkand and me than you are to joining her in the afterlife."
The dragoness-woman clapped, "Congratulations, little witch. That's one of my main reasons." Stepping forward, she looked deeply into Elkand's eyes before nodding slowly. "I will set you free from the curse so long as Wyrm finally comes with me.... so that we may finally move on." Her eyes held a flicker of kindness.
Wyrm stepped forward, nodding, "If you'll heal Elkand and will fully pass over... then I shall do it."
"Is it a deal?"

Elkand nodded " I'm very well aware of what surrounds her spirit but I've seen greater." he said and listened to them and smiled " Well then it is decided..." he said.
Then he heard a voice " I have to disagree with the stupid deal." the voice said and all of a sudden another woman split of Icellia " Next time you take hold of my soul warn me first sister!" she shouted angry. She looked at the people who stood in front of hr but her attention went to her brother dragon and she smiled. Her smile was dark and diabolical as she looked " I'm afraid I can't allow that brother that would be just so boring to have a curse lifted with such a simple deal.." she said " Besides...its much more fun to watch sister cry every day for her dear loves." she said sitting on the tombstone. She laughed " Make no mistake I am delighted to see you Wyrm but I'd rather not let you take this from me.." she said.

Larkanna looked up, feeling dismayed as she saw that there truly was an evil spirit there and that she'd run out of energy to defend themselves against her if she dared attack.
Wyrm snarled, stepping forward with hatred burning in his eyes. "Of course you would show up just when we thought we could get away with the easiest possible trade! Why do you now show up?"
Icellia glared at her sister, "If I'd have told you, then you'd have ruined everything. But of course, you managed to do just that without warning."
Wyrm's temper cooled down when he saw the Icellia was somewhat her original self. Stepping forward until he was only feet away from his sister, he said, "Take what from you, dearest sister?"

She laughed loudly at Wyrm " Of course don't I always why break tradition now!" she said folding her legs and hands together resting her chin on them. She smiled " My only source of enjoyment in the world of the dead." she said " I do so enjoy watching my sisters sorrow...her need for the once mighty king." she hopped down. She smiled and walked around her brother " The land of the dead is a dark place where few people live...they cry out eternally..in pain and in sadness and to me that is like music." she sat down on the ground and put her hands behind his head " And it would just be so interesting to see such a strong devout soul break like hers is. " she laughed again and snapped her fingers the tomb stone growing into a door and opened allowing them to see into the realm they were forced into. She did enjoy the various screams and cries she was hearing and her face showed it though he problem ran much deeper than that. She looked at Wyrm " And why destroy a perfectly good curse....to see the prophecy given with the curse come true would be a grand sight..so many souls crushed so many lived destroyed." she said " Besides...for him to have gained that curse he would have had to fight...Your son" she said thoguh when speaking of Wyrms son there was more hatred than usual " He should be strong enough to hold it back...and the longer its held back the more it will tear him apart from the inside and out." and then she turned her attention towards both Wyrm and Larkanna " To see you reduced to a familiar is entertaining and its your fault yuor in this situation..you encouraged your son to learn from me no matter what I put him through and learn all I had to offer kind king and you know when it comes to magic I withhold nothing...at least this way you can see it...the destruction that will be brought about as a result and when yuor killed you can join us and then the family will be reunited then.' she stood up and walked over to the top closing the door and jumping on it " Is there anything more grand Brother and sister! Truly our age has past but what we have done shall not vanish..to have the world end by the actions of worlds past, I can't wait!" she said her insanity starting to really peak.

Larkanna shook her head when she saw the realm of the dead. It sickened her to think that this evil spirit relished the cries and screams of those that suffered.
Wyrm growled, barely containing himself from lunging at her, but it wouldn't do anything to her. They were both dead and there was no way to kill someone that was already beyond the grave. "Why would you bring all of this upon the world?!" He snarled. "The mortals hadn't done anything to you, little sister. Now put an end to his curse or I'll make your sure your afterlife truly is hell!"

She laughed wildly falling to the ground " Of please brother you know you were never able to beat me what makes you think that's changed." she said forcing herself up wiping a tear from her eye " I case you have forgotten when it comes to combat in our family I'm much stronger than you are and much larger!." she said " Sure mortals had done nothing to use but what does it matter..they have hunted our kind and brought them down the ungrateful little bastards." he said " Think about it...we have given mortals everything as to keep peace and what do they do..they hunt us down and destroy us and destroy the world we worked so hard to create!" she said " You, me, Icellia and the others have given so much only to be betrayed.." she glared at her brother " They have destroyed enough so why not bring down the rest of the world..mortals do not pity us so why do you pity them so!?" she asked " Is it to much to ask that you see it though the eyes of a true dragon for once!" she growled at him. She glared " I gave these beings magic and all they did was destroy the last of us they have only brought this on themselves!" she said " In fact why don't I just speed it up!" she held out her open hand towards Elkand and focused as it caused his curse to grow more and caused him pain. She glared at her brother " We were fools to take pity on these mortals...I'm simply undoing the mistake we made." she said though somehow she had forgotten about her family in her time in the land of the dead and her insanity had certainly clouded her judgement.

"I could never beat you physically, but my powers were always the strongest, you cow." Wyrm snarled. "They felt threatened by dragons like yourself and many of our kin. They hunted those down and when they saw another dragon, they couldn't tell the difference! Because I have been living with a witch for almost a year now, I've realized that it would be better if we were all human in some way unlike a pathetic excuse like yourself."
Larkanna watched as the dragoness shortened Elkand's time. Anger gave her the strength to stand and summon the door to the land of the dead. "I'll do what I can to prevent his curse from doing too much damage, but you must prevent her from medling from the other side." She said, taking the magic from the air now. "As your summoner, I bid you farewell back to the land of the dead!" The tomb became a door yet again, a fierce wind blew into it, planning on sucking every roaming spirit in with it. Wyrm lept and pushed her into it. Once Wyrm and the other two spirits were gone, she shut the door and sat back down on the ground, drained again.

Elkand held his head as all of this happened unable to move as the darkness continued to grow. When it was over he made his way over to Larkanna and looked at her. He sat down and looked at her " You know....it won't keep her.." he said his eyes darker than usual and his own mark having a completely red outline but it started to transfer some energy to her.
She glared at Larkanna as she tried to close the tomb " This isn't it..... I'll destroy you..this damned tomb won't keep me forever!" she said as Wyrm pushed her in and the door clsoe d as they were once again in the land of the dead. She growled looking back at Wyrm and Icellia " Why must you always stand in my way...every time I wanna do something you always ruin it...you never let me have any fun!" she pouted crossing her arms glaring angrily at Wyrm.

Larkanna shook her head as she simply sat there. Bitter tears filled her amber eyes as she said, "It may not... but at the moment, I can only handle so much." Grabbing a fistful of dewy grass, she threw it at the tomb, snapping, "You horrible creature! Now I've really failed!" Biting her lip, she slowly stood, the darkness within Elkand now at an almost unbarable level. "Why did I think that we could actually win this one...? I shouldn't have brought you when I knew that something like this would happen." Wyrm glared at his sister as he walked over to his mate. Wrapping a protective wing around her, he said, "Because what I ruin is for the good of the future. How many times must I thwart these foolish plans in order to get you to realize that the humans and magicians will destroy themselves without the help of creatures like ourselves."
