Midna smiled. "Oh, good, you are smarter than I thought. Now, there's someone I'd like you to meet." She settled down on Link's back. "If you get out of the dungeon, I'll lead you the rest of the way.
(Okay, here's a hint: Character in Zelda game.)

Rayne stared at Link and recognized his eyes easily. They were the same eyes that found him back by the spring. Link's the hero? Rayne growled softly, though he was careful not to let the cat fall out of his mouth. Perhaps sticking with Link with Link would prove to be dangerous for a thief.

Link tried to wriggle out from under the imp, but she had a surprisingly strong grip. He snarled and finally submitted, having decided that she was most likely telling the truth and could help him figure out what was going on. He decided, however, to be polite and wait for the cobra to finish picking the lock and setting the other animal free. He promptly sat down, wagging his tail ever-so-slightly.
{{ps. I don't think I'm going to have Link talk, if that's ok with everyone. It just feels weird, having this silent character talk all the time, so he's only gonna talk when he's human. Objections?}}

Midna glanced over at the snake. "No time," she snapped, sending another ball of loose energy at the lock. The door creaked open, and Midna snapped the chain connecting the cat to the wall free. "We must hurry before we're found."

With a low growl of dislike, Link set off at a trot. The door was locked.... and the windows of the hallway they were currently gathered in were to high to jump through.... Link narrowed his eyes and concentrated. Hard. His vision shimmered softly, and a small spot on the wall of the cat's cell nearly sparkled. Link shimmied over, where he spied a small hole in the wall. A few scrapes with his paws yielded a space big enough to squeeze through. After a short, mental celebration, he began worming his shoulders through the gap.

Machiko glanced at the lock to see a cobra snake try to pick the lock, then looked ahead and saw a female imp hop on the wolf's back. Then Midna blasted the lock on the cell and broke the chain. "Thank you both." she said to the snake and the imp. "Now I agree. We need to go before the guards catch us." She followed the wolf under the hole in the cell.

Alaci fowned when she lost the Bulbins, when she saw the group leave she began to slowly follow them, keeping her distance. Making sure they wouldn't notice her, "They must know where to go," Alaci thought.
She paused once they released the wolf she saw earlier from it's cell. Alaci watched them silently from a bit away, her now yellow eyes gleaming in the slight darkness.
Vitia watched the group quietly, when Vitia looked away from the group she in particular noticed a gray cat, Vitia tried to frown as much as her beak would allow her, wich wasn't much. The cat seemed familiar, Vitia shook her head, "Nevermind," She cawed softly. She launched herself out of the tree and flew around the group as they left, she then turned direction and headed back to the village, bored.

"Oh yes, I forgot," Midna said when they came out the other end. "If you use your senses, you should be able to speak to the spirits here. Look, there's one." She pointed to a glowing blue ball.

Eidolon continued his attempts to pick the lock, oblivious to the Hero of Time watching his performance. His tail was clearly not made for such things, as indicated by the clumsy rattling coming from the lock in his vain attempt to pick it. Soon enough, Midna decided to blast the lock off the door, sending Eidolon sprawling to the ground. He righted himself, agitated that he had done far more falling than necessary.
As the cat he had attempted to free padded over to thank Eidolon for his efforts, the Hero of Time swiftly entered the cell. Very odd that he would run back into a cell after being so recently freed from one. The Hero's intentions quickly became clear as he dug up enough space for him to squeeze through.
"Somehow I doubt the guards will know we are here...I have not seen a single humanoid creature since this has happened...Only eerie glowing orbs in their place."
The metallic Cobra flattened his neck flaps and slithered over to the hole. After Link had squeezed through to the other side, he wormed his way in as well.

Alaci tilted her head slightly when she saw them go back inside one of the cells. She looked around the area she was in, "I wonder..." She mewed softly as she moved closer to the cell curious. "They may know how to get out of here," Alaci thought, sitting in the shadows near the cell.

Viktor saw everything that happened and pawed his way over to the hole Link dug. After Eidolon passed through Viktor began to crawl. He was a little hurt as to why Midna got on Link's back and not his....not really knowing why though.
