F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє Ace smiled at her response to want to get moving. Thinking about it, the soldiers should have moved on by now so they should be fine. He sunk back in his chair looking over at Aesa and shrugged. "As soon as I get my clothes if you so desire. I'm just a guide and a protector," he said with a small smile. As if on que, Lyuath stepped in the door with clothes in hand, and a few other bits of leather and chain mail that Ace never wore. Yet he was completely sure he would be wearing it this time as Lyuath would make sure of that, no mater what he complained. He stood up quickly grabbing at his towel as he felt it loosen a bit from sitting then made his way back to the place that had become his room for the time being.
Without words between the two as both knew they were to be parting again after this, Ace was quickly redressed. Black pants, black undershirt, a thin layer of chain mail, then his famous coat. After, his belts, guards, sash, and weapons were all put back on his body, then eventually his boots. Gingerly, he stood up again walking out of the bedroom dressed and his bag draped over his shoulder. He still hurt so much and that was obvious in his stiff walking, but he could move and walk around, there for he would. "See you later Lyuath, thanks again," Ace said smiling a little bit before the halfling pulled him into a tight hug that made him wince.
"Come back again before you end up bleeding," he said cheerfully patting him roughly on the back when he was done hugging him. This was received as another wince from Ace and a half smile, half scowl. Both just shook hands then and he looked over at Aesa just waiting on her now.
"Now is as good time as ever to get moving, dark is gonna be soon and the soldiers should have left to the next town by now, if they haven't, they are lazy as hell," he said shifting his coat and the belts. The thickets one was tight right over his wound making it hurt so much, but he didn't complain about it. Eventually, it would protect him from other hits there. He pulled on his glove over his scarred up hand and then his other just relaxing now, or at least trying to, which he was failing to. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє Lyuath looked at Aesa and nodded with a gentle smile. "Any time," he said softly being rather polite as she walked away with his best friend. He tossed something to Ace who turned around and caught the leather pouch wincing as he raised his arm, but then he tied it to his belt nodding leaving. After that, Ace didn't look back as he ran up the stairs taking two at a time then pushing open the door drawing his red blade. He looked around unsure at first then stepped outside. Caution filled his eyes again along with his movements obviously still tender and sore, but he was willing enough to get moving again. He stood up strait and walked out of the brush unable to keep crouched down. He was to stiff and his side was already throbbing and they had only taken a few steps so far. This wasn't gonna be good at all.
"Alright, we can get there by sunrise as long as we can keep moving," he said in a slightly forced voice. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

((Feel free to elapse whenever you feel it's appropriate)) Aesa nodded her head sharply to show that she was up to the task. And she hoped she was. Though she had gone through the conditioning training required of all mages who would undergo field assignments she hadn’t lived a hard life like Ace and she didn’t know if her body was prepared for what she was about to ask of it. As he set their pace She kept up easily at least at the first leg of their trek. Whenever she felt as though she might be flagging she took heart in the fact that Ace had just been seriously wounded and was able to continue on their journey. After a goodly distance she asked, ”How confident are you that this Sebastian will behave honourably towards us?” She knew he had already assured her of this and she would believe anything Ace claimed as true - funny how very quickly she had come to trust him explicitly in so short a time - but she needed to confirm he was sure.

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє Ace was spooked a little bit by the break in the silence after about half the day. He stopped and looked back at her thinking about it before answering. "Like I said, Sebastian is a good guy, he'll keep you safe and he won't turn me in, it's okay," he soothed her again giving her a reassuring smile. With that, he continued in the silence as he pasted through town after town until sundown. Once the sun had slipped away, the night became alive as he kept them moving still. It wouldn't be long till they were at his guild. Then they had to be on their toes. Even if he was honorable, this town wasn't.
Every where the presence of thieves were obvious, people were on edge, things were broken, soldiers were drunk and out of control, just an overall mad house. Leave it to Sebastian to put his head quarters here. Keep it hidden from everything and anything he wanted to, except for Ace. Who had been dragged here after he'd been shot last time. It seems the only way he'd met people is by injury, isn't it? How unammusing. When they god closer to the guild, he stopped and pulled her up with him to walk by his side instead of fallowing. His eyes were watching everything as they didn't seem to sit still and a snarl formed on his face at some of the men who'd been looking at Asea. This was one of those towns he'd warned her about. Nothing was gonna happen to her though. Already he had mentally promised that of himself and her. "Stay with me, these guy's on the other don't care about anything. You are the first girl in town in a while and they aren't about to let that pass," he said in a dark voice and being even more on edge then he thought he'd ever had in his life. Was she really worth this much to him already? He was willing to die and more for this woman? Damn.
He kept walking with her keeping a steady pace as he moved through the town to the center of it, where the grandest building laid. The largest one of the entire area. Silver Foxx was etched very grandly into the well decorated building. No one stood guard, but he guessed that only meant that men would be on the inside of the door, so yet again, he was going first. Her right after him. "Alright, don't say anything unless you are spoken to, if I'm attacked, no magic, none. M'kay?" he said quietly to her before kissing her ever so gently for a few moments only to release her to enter into what ever hell they had laying for him. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє Ace walked in before her looking around quietly with his head held high never the less. He was still tired and getting more and more warn out the more he stood, but he had something to do. He could sleep later. "I'm here to see Sebastian on a business deal. I have no quarrel with him, both of us are just here to talk," he said simply. Both the men there stared at him as he said this and in a split second, they started moving. He drew his blade as fast as he could catching the large blade against his own red one as it gleamed in the bright light. He looked over at the other man as he charged him as well with a fist coming at him. Knowing what was going to happen and unable to move, he just said the first thing he could thing of, "DON'T MOVE!" It was directed at Aesa to make sure she didn't panic and come to his rescue of him when he hit the ground. And he did. Hard.
He crumpled over to almost his knees holding his side over his wound. Even with him trying not to act stiff on that side, these guys weren't just brutes. The most observant guards ever. He was about to be hit again as he got up again but he grabbed his hand, twisted it to it breaking then knocked him to the ground. The next man was dispatched by a punch to the chest shuddering his heart after temporarily stopping it. He was about to swing at a third before he heard a sharp whistle. All their heads snapped around as they looked up at a tall, medium built man with red hair cut choppy like Ace's, but cruel brown eyes hid under his bangs. A long black trench coat dipped to his ankles, boots were up to his knees, and the rest of his body was in purples to black. Over his left eye was a large black eyepatch with ugly scars running out from under it. This man was Sebastian, second in command of the Thieves. It was obvious this man was of high power and strong.
"Ace! How nice to see you again, so much fun. How fun it is for you to drop by?" he asked curiously stepping down with a feathered earring jingling against its self from the jewels laced with them. "And I see you brought a woman friend? I'm surprised to see you with one. Getting over your nightmares?" he asked curiously. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє Ace looked over at Aesa as she came up to his side. Honestly, he was grateful for it as he was quiet off balance and wobbly from his side now hurting so much. He wouldn't have doubted if the stitching had been broken again from being hit so hard. His blue eyes flared angrily up at that man as his hood still fell over his face. He held his hand over his side and sucked in a large breath as he stood up strait again fixing himself with his coat changing to black from the darker light like it always did. "Sebastian, haven't seen you in a while either. See someone got your face, having trouble picking up girls from it? I don't see any of 'em around so I'm assuming so," Ace shot back crossing his arms across his chest with a cocky smile spreading on his face despite the obvious pain he was in. It all got the reaction that he wanted though, Sebastian scowled back at him for a moment before continuing his way before him again.
"Ha, ha, ha. Very comical Jackson, but if I remember correctly you did this to me," he responded with an icy tone of voice.
"After your goons tried to drown me and you shot me with your damn rod. I'm here for business though, not for arguing. I wanna talk to you about the scepter I'm looking for," Ace said ending the quarrel immediately as Sebastian's collected personality was washed away in a heart beat. "So, you do know what I'm talking about?"
"Yes, I do, I'll help you out with it. I'm guessing your lady friend is in trouble, no? Well, I guess I'll help you with it, but you have to stop almost killing my guards, its becoming an issue. No one wants to work with me any more. My dear, there is a chamber you can stay in, or you can stay with Jackson, its all up to you. He and I have some things to discuss though in the process of getting you back to where ever you came from," he said in a much different tone. One that was almost friendly. His quick flip personality is what got him to the top so fast. He was a womanizer, cut-throat, power hungry, gentleman, thief. So many sides to one die. He walked over to Ace and looked him over real quick then at his side and smile a little bit. "Can't stay in bed still, even when you should be?"
"My health is none of your concern, I'm taken care of her and keeping her safe, she is a higher priority than myself. I don't need your sympathy or comments," Ace growled at him as if he was warning him not to start something. Still, when Sebastian turned to leave, he went with him motioning for Aesa to come with him. She would be fine here, as mean as Sebastian was to him, he wouldn't dare do anything to her nor turn him into the higher ups in the Thieves Guilds. Which was a good thing because he didn't feel like killing anyone that day. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє Ace walked with a slightly limp on his way after Sebastian as his body hurt so much now on just that side. If it was possible, he would have just decided to sleep forever, or at least until the wound completely healed, neither was happening though. Well, not any time soon. He looked up ahead when the Silver Foxx opened up the doors to a huge library that would make anyone envious. He looked around a bit at the dark place as the skylights didn't let any sun in as there was none shinning. So, he fixed that by lighting a large lantern that immediately light the room in a bright contrast to the clouds outside. The musty room reeked with the smell of old paper and books. A scholar's paradise, maybe even Ace's if he had time to sit down and read a good novel. Though, he didn't despite him having an extremely good reading ability and to write stories as well. He didn't have time to do either though. Sebastian did as he lived the rich lifestyle as a thief scholar, not a out in the world all the time thief.
Sebastian walked to the bookshelf and pulled off a huge book and laid it down on the middle desk. He opened it up flipping through the pages knocking around dust at the same time as it hadn't been opened in a while. Images of dragons, were-creatures, wolves, lyches, and other creatures flashed by as he kept turning and turning the pages until he got to the back practically. The image was of a beautiful scepter that was drawn out in silver and a ivory green. Something was written up the shaft in a dead language that no one really knew what said. The fact was though that it was the most dangerous thing around. This was what Marri told Ace could save Aesa's life.
"It's known in the common tongue as The Dragon's Death Promise, at least that's what it's roughly translated to. It can summon a swarm, pack, or anything else of any creature wanted. The bigger, the harder it was to summon in larger amounts obviously. Its quiet a ways away from here and will probably take a month or more to get there and back. No one acknowledges that it exists where it does to keep it hidden. Jackson and I both had a run in with a wielder of this who he killed after three dragons got summoned on us. Anyways, if you can get your hands on it, it should be enough leverage to get your blame passed if anything get your life back," he said leaning against the table that held the large book. He'd practically just summoned up everything the dragon script explained with much less words.
Ace didn't say anything as he stood there with his hands crossed across his chest letting her decided wether or not to get it. It was the most dangerous thing ever to go after, but he didn't care, he would do what it took to make her content. He was that stupid, either that or that love struck by her. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

F a t e lies ahead Like the sun will rise The light has been gone far too long From your e y e s Λϲє "I have all of that, and more. What ever you need, I can get for you within two hours if I don't have it. Everything is in the room attached to this one to your left, though, you both may stay as long as you like," he said in a practically flat voice. He didn't care when they left honestly as he owed Ace as much as he hated them and he would be willing to help out. He wasn't completely bad, it just depended on how his day had been going thus far and that was pretty good.
"Aesa, we can't leave today, or at least I can't. I hate to tell you this but either we bed here for the night or go find somewhere near to sleep. I need to take care of my side and sleep," he said quietly. He hated his own words like a plague that threatened to ruin everything he had. Even though he was stubborn as hell, he still wasn't that healthy and he was wounded. Neither were a good thing when going out against what ever came your way when ever it felt like it by who ever. Nothing was sound in this task and that worried him immensely as he'd gone after it before. It was all bad, bad, bad, there only good thing would be getting Aesa's charges cleared. ::=======>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<=======:: The light in your eyes keeps fading out The night's falling d e e p e r the heart Hiding the truth and crashing down My baby's a dancer in the dark

I'M AxՈ ɿ ૭ Һ ੮ ɱ ค Ր ૯xxxx a disasterxXxXxXxXx That's what they ALWAYS said! I'm a lost cause. . . not a HΞЯФ But I'll make it on my own! ::====>> ⅩⅠⅠⅠ <<====:: Xx Sebastian looked up at Aesa and Ace looking between the two and then he nodded to her. "Yes, Miss, feel free to use what ever you wish and stay as long as you like. The same for you, Riddley or Ace, who ever you war now. I would suggest you let her look at your side again. If that gets any worse, you are gonna end up dead, sooner they you are already going to," he said gently but still a little rough to Ace like he always had been. "Your friend knows exactly where you two can stay, he's been here more than a few times. Dinner is in an hour, so if you do join me, please dress well. Even someone like me prefers to be well dressed for such an occasion as a party." With that, he winked at Ace who rolled his eyes with a bit of pink on his face. Sebastian left the two of them through another door to his room, or at least his treasure trove.
Ace let out a huge huff of air when they were finally alone again and he smiled a little bit turning to leave the room. "Come on, Aesa, we might as well get some rest before dinner. Knowing him, it will probably be extravagant," he said dismisivly walking out of the study and back into the area where they entered. He pasted the stairs that lead to the dinning hall, then to another section of his large home. He walked up to a large door and started to turn it to get in to find it locked. Sighing, he pulled out his tools for picking locks before doing so easily with the door popping open. The room they now stood before was just as extravagant as the royalty's palace bedrooms.
The clean room had silver, black, and red themes as the walls were the dark red with silver strips to accent them. The floor was a cheery wood giving it a slight red still matching the ideas. A thin, black and silver, carpet laid itself out next to the huge bed that was covered in pillows and silk. Thin curtains draped around it shadowing it slightly in it's silver from the setting sun casted into the room. An art work of wires, and metals hung from the ceiling spilling light in patterns across the room. Only slightly dark place in the room was a desk that held a phoenix feather quill with a semi-used candle sitting in a notch on in the desk. Huge pillows sat against the wall as a couch style form, and a few more odds and ends laid around including swords and blades that had to have been sitting still for months as it was the only place where a thick layer of dust had collected on. Everything was made perfectly and was worth thousands, but knowing Sebastian the quality was stolen or gifted from sucking up to people of higher ranks. Ace's only focus seemed to be on the blades as recognition was in his eyes, but he didn't voice it.
"Welcome to my room," he said in a hushed tone. XxX{ ᄊ乇 ムǤムノՈ丂੮ ੮ん乇 ЩԾ尺レÐ } ((What do you think so far? Referring to the new layout. I got sick of the old)) z
