*Kero chuckles, gathering some plants to put into their cave, so as to clear the air and make it more lush...as his human form dwelt in a swamp, this would be perfectly fine with him...and he moves into his cave to check on Passura*

Surprisingly, Passura isn't there, but a quick mental sweep shows him to be next door with Tam and the girls. When Kerobian walks in he finds them in the kitchen area of Bezernia's cavern. There is a delicious smell of baked fish in the air along with scent of a spicy stew.
Tam is busy setting the table and Passura is rocking the girls, both of them being in a single cradle, lying side by side... sound asleep. He looks up as Kerobian enters and flashes him a shy grin. "Scaleless ones hurt head..." he sends with a grimace.
Tam smiles ruefully and shakes his head. "Mara had a screaming tantrum... couldn't feed her fast enough... and that woke up Ari... so Passura left to go fishing in the stream that flows above the caverns. He caught our dinner... showed me how to bake it wrapped in these huge leaves he found... then he made the stew while I fed the girls... I didn't realize that he could hear them until Ari chimed in... well not hear in the physical sense of the word..."

So...apart from the babies hurting your head, did you have a good time while I was out?

Passura nods, but slowly, explaining a little in his odd way of communicating with pictures and not words that it was odd for him to find somethings he recognized but how confusing it was that so much was not the same as where he grew up. "Fish... good..." he sends finally struggling to find the right words. He also shows Kero several plants he thought he knew as they resembled things commonly used in cooking in his village, but which had somehow felt wrong or bad here. Two are virulent poisons and one a mild sedative.

You're in a different world now, Passura....but that's why I'm here...to teach you what is good and what is not good...don't worry...I'll show you what we can use to cook, and what we can't...when do you want to start lessons?

Passura is immediately on his feet, ready to go, but Tam quickly puts her foot down. "Eat first... both of you... where's Bez?" he asks worriedly.
"Right here... I went to wash up... what smells so good?" asks Bez in a quiet voice from behind Kerobian, having entered so quietly that not even the mage had known he was there.

*Kero jumps a mile high...banging his head...and from beneath his robe shoot out all six of his tentacles, cocooning Bez from neck to toe*
Bezernia.....don't you scare me like that....What smells so good is fish and stew...come and have some...*Uncocoons the fallen angel*...and don't sneak up on me like that, or you'll wind up back in there...that's a combat reaction for me...

Bez has gone chalk white and sways slightly in place, looking quite ill. He closes his eyes and begins to crumble, causing Tam to dart to his side.
"Bez, dulcha... what's wrong?" she cries in alarm.

*Kero darts over to him, pulling energy out of his body...he anchors Bez in place as he glows Gold, Red, Blue, and Green...all four winding around him as he searches for what is wrong with Bez*

Panic attack... or so it seems brought on by his fear of snakes. His pulse is racing, heart beating a mile a minute and he's shutting the world out.

A residual memory... from a time right after he was exhiled reveals itself in a flash... Bez struggling to survive, unsure of himself or where he was, fighting off an enormous snakelike creature which has wrapped itself about him in a suffocating embrace. The memory is buried so deep Kero doubts that Bez even knows when or how the encounter took place... only that it had.

*And Kero, simply to allow Bez some peace...blanks it out...pulling it into himself, so that he can examine it and use it when the time comes to completely heal Bez of his Phobia*

Bezernia shudders violently then draws his arms up about his chest, opening his eyes and staring at the mage. "What.... what did you do?" he demands in a soft shaking voice.

You had a memory inside your mind, buried deep so you had forgotten...it was the source of your fear of snakes...*taps his head*...and it's in here now...I am a snake, by virtue of training, so I can live with this memory...how are you feeling? Tam, how's Passura?
