I still say I'm probably wrong (you know how riddles are! Nothing is as it seems.), but that was the first thing that popped into my head.

Mademoiselle Alvinette I still say I'm probably wrong (you know how riddles are! Nothing is as it seems.), but that was the first thing that popped into my head. You seriously need to have a little more confidence in yourself. You're much smarter than you give yourself credit for. 3nodding

Is anyone a Hobbit fan . . .?
It has no hinges, key, or lid, yet inside golden treasure is hid.
What am I?

Believe it or not, I have never read it. sweatdrop I bought a copy of it at a book fair a while back, but I haven't had any time for personal reading. But, there is a song about Bilobo Baggins that I love. What makes it even better is that it is sung by Leonard Neemoy. xd

lilchibiusa The people were in the boat instead of on the boat. Is it an eye? And for the last one, it could have many answers. You can hold a job, hold on to hope, hold a party, etc. No Yes! No Mademoiselle Alvinette As for the "what can you hold without touching or using your hands," could it be "your tongue" (not in the literal sense, but in the sense of not saying anything stupid)? Or maybe a thought (e.g. "Hold that thought!")? Yes! Mademoiselle Alvinette Oh, and in the boat riddle, my guess is "All of the passengers were married." It's probably wrong, but there's my two cents. blaugh Yes! lilchibiusa GreenInkling Grabbed your booty, chibi! Thanks! whee Hawt. dramallama lol Anyway GreenInkling Is anyone a Hobbit fan . . .?

What am I? Haven't read this book in years... the answer was an egg right? in reference to the yolk? I can't remember how it went but there was this really good one about the dark.

I love that song, but then again, I have really odd tastes. mrgreen And I totally love Gollum's speech patterns in general. "What has it got in its nassssty little pocketses?" For some reason, that just always makes me smile. blaugh
