I just saw Sonic 3 today and it was fantastic! However, after my walk, I was locked in the elevator, it wouldn't move at all and its doors got jammed.
Thankfully, a mechanic was able to get the release switch from the outside and I was able to get out. So Its best that I would need to use the stairs since the elevator's broken atm. They should have put an "CAUTION: Out of Order" sign up

It was a terrible experience being locked in the elevator. Next time, seeing and entering an elevator with its doors jammed open is a bad idea and attempting to reach the release switch without professional help can cause hand loss or serious injury.
So a person should never reach for a release switch by themselves. Ask a parent for help if they have Mechanical Dexterity, find a repairman or technician for help.
