Denji took his chance, sheathed his sword, and ran. His leg stun where the enemy hit him, but he figured he would be alright. He skidded to a halt in front of the portal and took a step back. He knew it was Benvolio's portal, even without the note on the ground. He saw no one else with portals aside from Phantom Ganon. "What do you say, guys? Enter it or no?"

Korin impaled one of the creatures on his spear and pressed it to the ground, using the spear to vault over more incoming enemies. He landed behind them and with a slice of his spear, cut them all in half. "Better than out here." Without another word, Korin leaped into the portal.

Benvolio jumped back when he saw the zora. He thought somehow he had found a different group so he got in battle ready position and began charging up a ball of black magic.

Korin nearly stumbled back into the portal after nearly colliding with a man on the other side. He quickly drew out the Zora Sapphire when he saw the man begin creating a lethal ball of magic. The stone shined a bright blue and a small, rippling shield of blue energy appeared in front of the prince. Holding his real shield up for extra measure, he shouted, "Who are you?"

Benvolio diminished the ball of black magic. "I am Benvolio. Prisoner of the gods. Third realm fugitive. I am the guardian of the Shadow Temple and creator of the evil Bongo Bongo. I use the art of black magic and the occasional sword in combat." Benvolio explained. "Now that I am done may I ask you a question young prince? I know all about you, I had to travel all over Hyrule and I've met zoras from Termina, Hyrule, and everywhere else. Your father took me into the domain since he understood my predicament. He also told me about you and that you would have the Zora Sapphire. Why did you never try to return to your people? Answer quicky, I can hear my old group approaching." Benvolio elaborated. He stood up straight and sat on a railing nearby.

Korin lowered the shield and looked at Benvolio with a confused expression. "I didn't obtain the sapphire until a few days ago. Before that, I'd been in exile. Did my father fail to mention I was accused of poisoning our Deity, Lord Jabu Jabu? I've spent near a decade in the lost woods. And now, when I finally obtain the one thing that could save me from exile, I find that my people have been attacked in my absence. I can only hope to restore my people. But before that," he hoisted his spear. "I'm going to avenge them."

Bevolio laughed. "Yes Jabu Jabu, it was a great distraction for me to sneak out of the Gods' attention long enough to leave Hyrule for a few years. He was almost dead anyway, I just helped him out of his misery." Benvolio explained. He fashioned a sword out of pure darkness. "I am getting better though."

Denji jumped in after Korin, and drew his own sword, just in time to hear Benvolio mention Jabu Jabu's death. He put up his own shield and stared at Benvolio. "What happened to you not having a sword?" He mumbled and gently pushed Korin to the side. "You're going to force me to kill you then, is that it?"

Benvolio dispersed the magic and the sword disappeared. "It is a form of magic, not an actual sword. Though I do recall this Zora jumped after me. I don't remember him being in your crew so naturally I figured I had found a different group of travelers. Perhaps some Gerudo heading to imprison this Zora." Benvolio said. "If you would like to kill me for showing you where the temple is and for weakening the boss then very well. I will not fight back. I am forbidden by a sage to harm you until Hyrule is saved." Benvolio opened a seeing-portal and showed Denji the bad shape Twinrova was in. "They are weakened but unless you end the battle in the next hour they will be recovered. I am forbidden to kill the guardians of any temple. It is another curse that the goddesses put on me. Once Ganondorf is out of the way I will be able to remove these curses and retire to my home. So naturally I'll offer my assistance." Benvolio fashioned a spear out of black magic.

"He joined us in the desert." Denji mumbled, then frowned at Benvolio. "But as helpful as you think you might be, we didn't need your help. Your help is shamed by your confession." The neko found himself stepping closer to Benvolio. "I don't even feel like you've been trying to help. You're more concerned with your own fate then that of Hyrule's. You're more obsessed with ending your own life than ending Ganondorf's. I don't need your greed or your supposed curses to be your motivation to, again, supposedly help."

Benvolio shrugged. "Take your fate then." He said as he threw his spear at the Zora's crystal. The spear dissolved and the crystal teleported to Benvolio's hand. "Only my own will can break the curse." Benvolio said. He then encased Denji in a prison of black magic and raised him to the top of the temple. "If you think you can defeat the twins then go ahead and try without your precious hero." Benvolio said.

Korin felt a surge of rage wash over him instantaneously. With a duku shot already loaded, he flicked his sling and sent the projectile at his feet. He then dashed to the side of the spell caster, throwing his shield around the opposite side. The chain unraveled as the circular shield spun through the air. Stepping behind the thief, He caught his shield and pulled on both it and the chain with his left hand and caused the chain to catch him by the throat. He pressed his foot to Benvolio's back and with his right hand he placed the tip of his spear on the man's left jugular. Loudly, he growled, "If you value your life, release the stone immediately!"

Benvolio only laughed. He opened a portal beneath him and sunk in. He landed on the floor of the temple of time. "Well they'll have to come here to release Denji..." He said.

Korin roared in anger. No matter where that little naive ran to, no matter how long it took, Korin would get that stone back no matter how much blood needed to be spilled. Until then, he may as well complete the task at hand. What had he said about twins? Where did they go? How did he find them?
