the gathering and it was awfully quiet. She padded over to the
old tree stump and lay down on her belly, her head upon her
paws, he blue eyes in thin slits. Her tail twitched back and forth
boringly.

Fadingkit padded out of the nursery at the sound of a strange cat's voice. Her blue eyes glanced around and the spotted a pair of eyes. "Who are you?" she asked, staring up at the pair of eyes. She tried to act bigger then she was, but she was shaking inside. What if this cat tried to attack her? She couldn't fight! Fadingkit didn't move her gaze away from the eyes in the shadows, in case the thing lunged if she turned her back.
