Inferno Breeze romesilk Well, that ******** sucks, for a bonus 100k thing to fall arbitrarily on a day that I absolutely could not participate in it -- and without any prior warning as to the fact that it would be happening, or any indication in the details themselves that it was a one-day-only occurrence. sad Then again, the 8pm deadline is so bleeding arbitrary, too! I'm so glad that you never have to actually think about other peoples' time considerations in your life. It must be so convenient to be able to live in such a way that your schedule is the only one of any importance, and all others must twist and turn to fit you. I'm beginning to wonder if the 100-day art challenge isn't just some sort of a game of power whereby you get to assert control over a group of people. If it were about the actual completion of art or the artists, after all, you wouldn't need to be nearly so ridiculous as to push EST on the whole of the world. Ere I am, J.H. everyone gets exactly 24 hours to do their submissions. It doesn't matter what time zone you're in. you need to remember that the point of this event isn't to win money but to improve daily on your art. ^That. What I don't understand is why Kai would need to consider everyone's schedules to such an extent. She's not forcing anyone to do this . . . Furthermore, the deadlines were set beforehand, everyone was notified, and she even gave freebie late passes for the first day. Personally, I think she's doing an excellent job of running this challenge. : o

Ere I am, J.H. wow..... really??? tell you what, if it's that big a deal to you, you can take my bonus thing in case you complete the 100 days.... since I was the one who gave Kai the freebies forum suggestion, I guess it's the least I can do... already changed it over for you on the front page. as far as the time thing, everyone in here is on different time zones, so odds are someone would be inconvenienced by whatever time was picked. Kai's gone to a lot of trouble to set this up, and funding it from her own pocket. Why should she not pick a time that's more convenient to her? These kinda things can be a real pain to run, because you have a lot to update and try and make sure things go smoothly.

Kitten-Tora Just a fun note from my small part of the world...I think I did something to my left arm. Everytime I stretch it out it spasms and then gets pins & needles and continues to twitch for a few minutes...And then it's rinse and repeat...thankfully that's not my arm that owns my drawing hand. But yeah, my body is rebelling against me today. I hope your arm is feeling better soon!!! dark pillow Huh? Now I'm really confused... >o> Don't tell me we had to choose a theme and do the freebie thread?! TT.TT Because I didn't. It's fine to just post the link though. ^u^ nope, it was one of the themes or the freebie thread ^_^ very cute!

Shestval I'd love to see the freebie "theme" (or something similar) again, even without the extra gold incentive! I couldn't do it today but I wish I could have. It looked like a lot of fun. :3 you can always just take the days theme and then post in the AF and make up something using someones avi(s)/ OC's that fit the theme? xd

@ drako: To make it more fair you and kai could allow people who were not able to draw the freebies on that particular day, to do it another day. I really wanted to participate as well but couldn't since Im out of state. So now it isn't fair if you are giving random bonuses to people because they speak a little louder than others. I haven't griped about having no computer access for the next few weekends to get special priveledges like other who have on the first page. I think the rules either need to be set in stone with no exceptions or you have to be willing to make acceptions for everyone.

The rules should just be equal for everyone or then everyone is entitled to grey area.
