Pasa looks at the bowls and sees tummy aches coming on for both of them if they eat it all at once. So he cautions the tiny dragon to only eat until he is full. "We can put the rest into the freezer and ye can finish it late, okay. That's what I'm going to do with mine. No one is going to take it away from you, so it will be there when you want it."

Bez scratches his head and smiles. "She any good at nursing magical backlash. I could distract her with Ai. He's really in a bad way. Hope doesn't know what to do for him. Do you?"

Bez waits until the dragoness has transformed into something smaller and more appropriate for the cave and approaches her with his question. "Em says you understand magical backlash... or at least something about an overuse of talent. I have none... or little enough of it, that I do not suffer such a malady, but I fear Ai has. Just being near him hurts right now, we are too closely bound, I fear."

**yeah... I need to cook dinner anyway... take care...**

Bez smiles thinly. "An excuse it may be, but it is truth none the less. I truly do not have much by the way of a magical talent. Among our kind this happens at times between pairs. One is more gifted in one arena but lacking in another. I am one who wields weapons almost as if I was born to it... he puts me back together again when I miss. Hand him a sword and he can defend himself... even better now that he had trained many many years in the art, but it is a learned talent nothing more. He prefers not to fight at all."

He leads her back into the bedroom where the white lioness is lying out cold, with two small cubs mewing at her side. "Doesn't keep him from rushing head lon into danger though... he's always had a knack for that." he grumbles scooping up the twins and placing them in their cradle.

**one sheet of paper... how long of a scroll is this anyway?"

Bez walks out to where Em is sitting and shows him the paper. "Ye got a magnifying glass around here?" he asks struggling with the fine print. "Man! Ye Ma's got good eyes... how can she read anything written this small anyway?"

Emnast makes a suggestion that they sit in a sunny spot and use Kero's scrying glass.


**magnifyi8ng glass and sunlight... hmmm... that kid is devious... of course it may no longer be raining, but it is far from sunny... or is it?"

"Damn," he moans. "It's an ensorcelled scrolling scroll." He shows it to Emnast who groans along with him. He looks again and chuckles softly. "Hey, Em... does yer Ma know I don't read draconic?"

He glares at Emnast as if it is all his fault and the small electrum dragon at least has the courtesy of looking apologetic.

Sitting on a rock, Bez begins to read, wondering how the heck did he get himself into this one.
