tam laughs softly... no more silencing it is then... unless ye truly deserve it... fair enough... and since ye know how it feels now... we shouldn't have to worry about that, right?
as for the others... well... let's just leave all four open to chance... kind of hard to sit ye in a corner in the middle of the woods.... he winks and gives the cub a hug then stands and stretches... i'm beat... how about ye?

ahhhh... sometimes a parent needs to give a child time in which to think... even when that child has no desire to do so... this is doubly so when he's been misbehaving... it is called a time out... need i say more?
as for the one where he's watching the others... sometimes it is to remind him that his actions have put into jeopardy those things he loves most... such as being with his friends...
in both cases it is done with the hope that the child comes to understand by thinking on the things he has done, why what he did to earn such a punishment was so very very bad....

soap says tam with a grimace... tastes awful... usually used to wash out a child's mouth iffin he gets too foul... tam gets a crafty look... like a certain little cub we both know.... then he smiles... i don't hold with it though... there are better ways to get yer point across without making someone sick and that can certainly make ye sick... trust me... i know...

tam wrinkles up his nose... i've been known to run off at the mouth too kiddo... and ma does't like it one little bit.... but after i got sick all over her... she's kind of drawn the line against that form of punishment as well....

tam chuckles, realizing they were no where near their bed rolls... he picks up the cub and carries him to the blankets, then adds a few more branches to the fire to keep away the bugs before joining the cub for warmth... he covers them both up and closes his eyes... g'night to you too, kiddo... may yer dreams be blessed and peaceful...

*Kero is already snoring...and that is how it goes for a few weeks...Kero relearned his instruments, playing more beautifully than ever before...he was composing a song in the inn one day...and couldn't find the right note...and soon he hits another flat one*

tam lifts a graceful eyebrow and points to a corner... do ye really like sitting with yer nose to the wall so much he asks, handing the harp back to the cub... i understand yer frustration... but maybe ye can think of a different way of expressing yer frustration while ye sit there... a different selection of words maybe... he doesn't make him stay long... just until he begins to fidget... but he does mention the fact that the punishment will be longer if he does it again....
