So nothing but good reviews across the board... Although Brawl got good reviews too, but I really don't like it.

Well I got a chance to play this one and it's fun so I recommend it. Braw I will admit was a little slower compared to Melee. sweatdrop

Braw I will admit was a little slower compared to Melee. sweatdrop Not only is it slow but they took out some more advance Melee tactics and they decided to put in tripping... You do not put that in fighting games! People at MLG's used to think Melee was a kids game until they saw how in depth it was, but with Brawl that mentality has come back. @Neit: ...No, everyone I know that likes Brawl either sucked at Melee, or they have recently started playing Melee again and say Brawl was good only cause it was something new and Melee is still superior.

Yeah...I could see that. But I haven't been playing many video games lately, mostly just Rock Band or Legend of Dragoon. xp

I just got FEAR 2 and it's scarier than the previous installments. The sniper rifle kicks a**. The Mech kicks a**. There is a few problems though. I think there is too much motion blur when turning. Also you no longer get multiple saves, so if you don't want someone to play your file and you start a new game for them.. you just screwed yourself.
Yes I always play at night, in the dark, with the music on high. I jump, gasp, get goose bumps, and take frequent breaks.

I could never appreciate melee. It was too fast to be any fun. I never knew what the hell was going on.

Blessed Blade I could never appreciate melee. It was too fast to be any fun. I never knew what the hell was going on. I gather you were never really a fighting game person though, cause Mortal Kombat was fast.. well everything except the first one. Street Fighter, Killer Instinct, Soul Calibur, especially the Marvel vs. whatever stuff. All those are pretty fast. Tekken and DoA are the only ones I can think of right now where the characters aren't all over.. but some of the input is fast.

I really dig soul caliber. It's fast, but it's not melee. I can follow the moves, I can develop a sense of it, but I could never get my footing in melee. Maybe it's because I as always playing with people who had a better feeling of the 'depth' of the game as you put it, do they could move especially fast. *shrugs*

The discussion of Melee and fighting games has led me to think a little about hack n slashes. I recently played AFRO Samauri and I thought that was pretty good although the camera was a little bit of a pain. Has anyone played X-Blades? I enjoy hack n slash games and this one caught my eye although I am a little wary as I haven't heard anything about it.
