well I didn't the stories were so little sweatdrop whee

Compared to the average adventure/rpg...there's no story to most of those game. sweatdrop

well rpgs have huge stories, but an RPG isn't the average game..it's just one genre of game. So I'd say compared to the average game (from all genres) they have pretty normal storylines. sweatdrop

Bought Alone in the Dark yesterday. It's quite interesting so far...the gameplay is different than other games I've played. It's realistic in the way you use items and stuff.

I suppose technically, even games like Tekken and Guilty Gear have a story...but not many know about it, or even care to get into that much depth from the game. sweatdrop

Has anyone else played Tales of Vesperia? I got it a couple of days ago and I absolutely love it! It is quickly becoming one of my favorite games of all time.

Haven't seen it, but with it being a "Tales of..." game...I'd assume a bunch of people will want to play it. ninja

Yeah I thought it looked about the same, but I guess if you like the Sims games and RTS games then it would be a good pic. xp

As for Tales of Vesperia, I haven't played it yet but if it's like any of the other "Tales of" games, it should be good. 3nodding

Nope, can't say that I have. sweatdrop xp

So what is everyone's oppinion on the new DSi from what has been released thus far?
I personally think that Nintendo took what could have been something good and then made far too many mistakes with it.

I have never even heard of it... and don't really care so long as I have a PSP.
PostPosted: Thu Oct 09, 2008 3:24 pm

Well they basically took the DS and added a (from what I've heard) 3 Mega Pixel camera on the outside of it, and when you open it there is a 0.3 Mega Pixel camera where the mic used to be. There's now an SD card slot where the power button used to be, and the screen is supposted to have a higher resolution, but there isn't a very noticable difference. They've also replaced the speakers with what looks like PSP speakers and added an internal Wifi (or at least normal internet) connector. Unfortunately to do all this they decreased the battery life by 4 or 5 hours and made it region sensitive. Also, they removed the GBA slot, which I know was going to happen sometime, but it could have at least been for a better quality of a camera. I mean it's neat and all, but I don't really see it being worth buying a new DS over... xp

So umm yeah, I'm siding with Sony right now as well, even though I won't be buying one of the PSP 3000's, because I'm good with what I got. 3nodding sweatdrop

Shweet, I might have to look into that then. ninja

Sliph- Yeah, I think they're already out in Japan or at least should be comming out by the end of the year. It has a microphone, a bit of a larger screen, and supposedly the screen has more bright-ness settings, better resolution, and has glare protection or something like that. I also remember hearing something about HD capabilities, but I'm not too sure on that one. As I see it, if you have a PSP 2000 I would, at the very least, wait till the next model to come out, but if you have the original PSP it sounds like a decent upgrade. 3nodding
