Ahh, I'm glad I can relax for a few weeks over the break, but I'm even happier that my brother got me a job for a few days. There's this really rich church in Rancho Santa Fe that's doing a big "Living Nativity Scene" (they do it every year), and so among other things, they hire a group for livestock. This includes a small petting zoo with goats, donkeys, a cow, and a yak. It also includes camel rides, and my brother used to work for the the group that runs it all. My next door neighbor was supposed to help him, but he got sick, so my brother got me to help. Basically, my job for about four hours a day for four days is to load kids onto camels. It's actually kind of fun, minus the fact that I detest children. Plus it pays pretty well, so I have more money for the holidays.
@Launcher - I'm not sure what at least half of that journal entry was about, but hang in there! It's a new year coming up, and that's a nice reason for a fresh start.
@Ani - MUST GET GOOD GRADES!!! (it's wearing on me though...Cs really do get degrees)

Ugh, it's been months. I apologize for such a long absence. I've had a bit more free time this past week, but I haven't been into Gaia as much as I used to be, which is saddening. I often forget to check Gaia nowdays. Too much has happened, major and minor since I last checked the guild, but overall life is good, albeit tiring.

Me neither Talon. I tried... many times. I went and standed in the cold, and yet I still didn't get one. I love Nintendo, but hell, why can't they stock more freaking Wiis..? I got Zelda... or rather, it's still on the way. I'm getting to the point of buying the Gamecube version out of frustration. Ah well, off to high school. I'll try to be more active in the future...

I had a hard time finding the gaming toy I was buying for a Soltice present. 3nodding Tried all the obvious sources and their shelves were bare. Then I used the Yellow Pages and found one store that must have anticipated corectly. They had them on the shelves and told me that taking a day to get over to their store wouldn't be a problem. Bingo! biggrin

I'm really glad that I waited for a Wii on the first day, it seems even more hectic now.

I've ordered 3 Wiis online. The first two had issues, and I almost lost 600 dollars... The third one seems like it will actually work, I hope to be recieving the tracking info for it soon. I ordered Zelda: TP in Nov. but it still hadn't arrived when the new year came. I assume it was lost during the Christmas season, and I emailed the guy about it. He immediately shipped another copy - express. It's good to know there are still a few truthful sellers out there.

Gah, I haven't been here in a little while, mostly because I'm not on gaia very often. I'm sicker than a dog (which is a phrase I still don't get), and my voice has almost gone out. I'm trying to get a job as a front desk assistant at the housing office at my school, but they're being really lazy about it and blowing me off. And I finally have chosen a major. I'm going to major in business, and minor in computer science and music.
How's it going for everybody else?

Being able to accurately draw and epict things on the page is a skill that is entirely awesome and sometimes profitable.
Good luck, Ani.

Yea, but accurately drawing is a bit overrated in the art world. Its the ability to express ideas that most people strive for.
