(( Again, buddy, remember that not all the birds are eagles. >_o about 2/3 are actually large hawks or falcons. ))
[Galestar hissed as his mate was attacked. He broke away from the bird he had been hopping around and tackled the eagle that was grabbing his mate by her tail, aiming straight for the throat with vicious eyes. He dug his sharp fangs straight into the eagle's throat, ripping as best he could before leaping back, blood staining his muzzle and dripping down his creamy coat.]
"Wrong move, featherbrain," he growled. "Good sir, you have meddled with the wrong cat!"
(( You can decide whether the bite dug deep enough to kill, bnuddy o3o ))
[Lashing his tail, Galestar watched as Frostclaw began to trip the injured bird. He whipped around and spat at the other birds who were watching the scene, challenging them with a furious glare.]
"Would anyone else like to step forward to get their faces ripped off?" he snarled, baring his teeth. "Free of charge!"

[Swallow had been hiding in a bush, wallowing in her own self-pity. She was too small to fight, a runt from birth, tiny being all she'd ever known. And Swallow had been doing just fine! Lounging in the bush, not even having to get hurt! Until some cat went and shoved herself right up in Swallow's face! That wasn't cool! Snarling, Swallow snapped her jaws together, catching the cat [Songpaw] right on the tip of her nose. Maybe that would teach 'em not to go poking their nose in other people's personal space] ____________________________________________________________________________________ Won't you come out and play? ~ S O N G P A W ~ A good warrior....
[ Songpaw looked into the bush, to find something sharp latched onto her nose. She felt her nose... Stop breathing. Songpaw closed her eyes, feeling her eyes water for a second. With furious shakes, to get the hurtful thing ( Swallow ) off, Songpaw opened her eyes to see a scaly snake on her nose, Her nosed was clogged, so all she could do is hissed in a stuffy voice. ]
" Hyuuh, Heeeyyyh!"
[ Songpaw shook herself even harder, like a wet dog. ]
" Y-Youh are not a BUH-Berry! "
[ Songpaw took serious gulps of air. She hadn't experienced a stuffy nose anywhere else, but she noticed she had to breathe through her mouth this time. ]

The world darkened before he opened his eyes again and saw nothing but sky all around him. He stood as a spirit, the blood and wounds gone from his shimmering pelt. Moonblaze was beginning to mutter in panic, swarming around Oaktail. Suddenly, she froze and leaned back, horror and pain on her face. Then her head dropped, hanging shamefully down.

I rushed over to Oaktail's side, staring at him with wide eyes. Blood had pooled around him and stained his fur. I shuddered as I watched his breathing turn shallow. I stepped forward and pressed my nose in his fur, feeling myself shudder. No!]
"Hang in there Oaktail," I whispered painfully, "Please!"
[But I felt him slipping. Swallowing my pain, I whispered gently in his ear.]
"You fought wonderfully, Oaktail. We...we'll always remember you for your sacrifice. Th-thank you...be safe, in..."
[My voice choked over as I felt his spirit suddenly pass. A single tear fell down my cheek and I bared my teeth in agony.]
"...StarClan..." I moaned.
[Grief overcame me. Another. Another lost to these blasted beasts. Another innocent life! Fury and anger ripped through me, but I turned and saw my friend's face. And my anger left, replaced by pity. I pressed myself against Moonblaze.]
"There was nothing you could do, Moonblaze," I murmured compassionately. "Please-
"I could have saved him! she cried, pushing me away.
[I looked at her with sad eyes, and she stared back. I could see her pain in her beautiful eyes, but they hardened.]
"I have to take care of the rest of my Clanmates," she stated, almost as if she was reading what I was thinking with reluctance.
I nodded to her and murmured, "Yes, you do."
She looked away, but I pressed against her again and licked her head, murmuring, "Be strong, Moonblaze. You have saved many tonight as well, but we have much more to go before these beasts either leave or die."
[She nodded sharply and stood, attending to her other patients. I turned to Lustrepaw, noticing he was blacked out. My fur stood on end and I gritted my teeth, feeling rage rush through me.
I burst from the undergrowth, speeding towards Bermuda. I didn't care who had killed Oaktail-Bermuda had brought this upon us. It was all her fault. [The large bird of pray cried out in pain as Frostclaw completely attached herself to his leg. He glared down angrily at her, ready to give her the same ain in return. The eagle gasped as his life was stolen form him in a flash. His life flashed before his eyes as he hit the ground. He was dead. The other eagles and hawks gasped as their fellow assassin's life was taken before their eyes. The stepped away, not wanting to tests Galestar's wrath. The sound of the body hitting the stone floor caught Talon's attention as he turned his newly blind sight in the direction. The lack of blood curtailing cries angered the tyrant.]
"What the cat dung do you cat brains think you are doing!? Did i not tell you that anyone who spared a life, showed mercy, or refused to fight would be put to death? He died due to his own foolishness of not watching his back. NOW FIGHT! i want to hear those cats cry out for their loved ones!"
[He shrieked, spreading his massive wingspan. The birds of pray shifted uneasily, not wanting to fight any longer but to wanting to have their lives be ended like their fallen comrades. The returned his battle cry as they all lept forward, ready to rip the Breezeclan leader to shreds!]

[The eagle laughed as Cherrydrop called up to him.] "Cowardice? This is strategy my dear, you should try and use some! HAHAHAH" [The large bird swooped down and pecked her on the head as he then retreated into the sky.] "If you dont like it then what are you going to do about t?" [He called down at her as he swooped down, about to strike again.]

[Galestar snarled at the other birds ruthlessly. His eyes were aflame with icey fury. This had gone far enough!
He weaved almost expertly through the onslaught of birds, dodging their talons within inches of his face. He slipped around the terrain, racing towards Talon. There was only way to end this.
The other birds did not realize what he was doing as he leapt forth, aiming for their leader. He leapt towards Talon, claws outstretched, and bowled the unsuspecting eagle over, slashing his claws across the eagle's throat and chest. It wasn't deep enough to kill, but it gave him an advantage. He leapt back immediately, circling around the leader, and attacked again from behind, nipping the leader's head before springing off and circling around again. In this way, he mercilessly attacked the blind leader repeatedly, his eyes narrowed with determination.]

Frostclaw scooted away from the eagle as it fell. there was almost a shred of hope when the other birds hesitated due to Galestar's furious tone and words. But any sort of hope was shot down when they attacked. Of course, Talon was to afraid to fight himself. "You're a coward!" she yelled at him before feathers blocked her view. She looked around with her remaining eye and chose her target. A hawk that was closing in on her. Not taking into account her mate by her side and only acting in defense and instinct, she reared up on her hind legs and threw her front paws, claws extended at the hawk's chest.

[Talon could feel himself being struck down when something tackled him from the darkness. He shrieked in rage as he kicked the unknown attacker off of him.] "How DARE you! You will pay for your insolence cat!" [The darkness worked against him as he could only sense the enemy's precens, only a single voice echoing in the dark you coward!] Frostclaw? You took my sight and you dare to try and take my life! I will KILL you!" [He roared out in pure rage as he struck, clawing Galestar deep down across his chest, leaving a nasty gash.]
[The hawk squawked in fear as he was knocked to the ground, but made no attempt to struggle free. Instead she just looked up into Frostclaws eyes, begging her to take her life. She was forever trapped under the cruel clutches of Talon's tyranny, no way out but this.] "...Im sorry for what we have done. Dont let Talon take my life, take it before he dose..." [She whispered so only she could hear.]

[Galestar hissed and continued to slash, his attacks getting fiercer. The other birds froze and turned, but made no effort to save their leader. They watched with unreadable expressions, their faces frozen. As if by time itself. Blood seeped from both Talon and Galestar as they fought. Galestar's wounds were minor in comparison to Talon's. The ground became slippery with blood and both creatures were stained with the foul substance. Blood mixed so that scent became unrecognizable, and there was only claws and talons slashing in the air. The shrieks and yowls rose, and the two creatures were a blur twisting in the air as they battled. It seemed as if it would last forever.
Finally, Galestar pinnned Talon to the ground, his claws digging into the bird's belly. He had slammed the eagle into the ground back-first so that his underbelly was exposed. Normally, an eagle would be too much of an adversary, but Talon was weakened by both blood loss and his blindness. Galestar pressed his claws into the leader's dripping throat, his teeth bared.]
"You will finally pay for what you have done, Talon," he hissed. "You dragged innocent lives into this mess and caused countless of deaths, of both your kind and mine! This is where it ends! This is where your countless slaves are set free!"
Shaking his head, Galestar growled, "You let greed and hate consume you, and this is what you have wrought. I hope it was worth it. May your spirits have mercy on your soul, for I must end you to save my bretheren's."
[With that, Galestar, lunged forward and ripped the leader's throat out, spitting the wretched meat out of his mouth. He watched the eagle's bloody eyes dim.]
"Farewell, Talon," Galestar sighed.
[The bird lay dead before him now, his mangled body lifeless. Galestar trekked wearily off the bird, his tail dragging behind him. He looked at the other birds with an angry glare, daring them to approach.]
"Leave this place. You are no longer under Talon's tyranny."
[Galestar trudged over to his mate, his eyes drooping. He felt exhaustion rush through him. He leaned against her, feeling the adrenaline in his body ebb away, and fell to the ground, collapsing from the sheer effort of killing the massive eagle.
But his Clan was safe.
Safe....for now...but safe nonetheless.]

[Talon was shocked to hear instead of Frostclaw's voice Galestar's.] "Galestar! I should have known to was you! My reign will never fall, NEVER!! Attack him!!"[He cried out, but nothing happened. Instead the birds just stared, watching the battle with fear and anticipation.] "What are you doing, ATTACK!" [Silence. Talon gasped as he could feel the fatle bite enter his throat. He gasped for air, but it had abandoned him just like his minions. The darkness in his vision quickly began to consume his awareness and being as he could feel his soul being dragged away.]
"My reign will never end...
never...
never...
never..."
[Talon lay still on the ground, growing cold as his heart was. Slowly the eagles, falcons, and hawks gathered around. Staring in silence at their fallen leader. For a long time there was only that, silence, until it was broken by a triumphant cry of freedom as they began to sing their beautiful and powerful songs.]
"~Ding dong the tyrants dead! the wicked tyrant, the wicked tyrant!~"
[They all cheered as they spread their wings and rose into the early morning sky, melting away into the sunset, their music ringing into the air as they cried in joy. They were free... they were free.]

[Frostclaw stepped onto the bird, it offered no resistance but she didn't care. That just made it easier to kill the female hawk. She had just been about to strike when it spoke. It's catspeak was blotchy but Frostclaw knew what she was saying. She shook her head stepping off of the bird. She couldn't kill the hawk, not like this. Once again everything circled back to Talon.]
[Frostclaw whipped around and watched the battle. Her first intent was to attack but she could see now this was something Galestar needed to do. She stepped forward when her leader and mate spat the foul piece of Talon from his mouth.]
"Galestar..." she said, a wave of relief flowing through her.
[He came to her, it seemed everything was going to be alright, until he fell that is.]
"Galestar!"
[Frostclaw ran the remaining distance and looked him over. His wounds were deep, but he would recover. Wouldn't he? She laid by him, pressing herself close and licking his fur.]
"Ice! Please someone!" she yowled desperately.
[Frostclaw shuddered and cried out. She placed her head atop Galestar, fearing for his life, paying now mind to the fact that perhaps he had a life or two left in him.]
