Roan winced feeling the cards slash against his arms drawing blood "Ne, I pick the ace of hearts" he said smiling at the girl, Roan snapped his fingers, the card just placed in her hand to throw exploding, the deck was still untouched though.

((-->Having an argument with a friend over IM<-- ._.; ))Tohru merely looked at the group, his gun laying somewhere away from him. "Tch. Right when I might need it," he murmured. Alex stepped back, still feeling the aura slash at his chest. What's worse, because of its properties, it hurt more than it should have. He decided he'd test his training. . .see how much he'd improved. As soon as he had balance, he disappeared, reappearing behind Enzai and slashing at him.

Cilia glanced down at Tohru, then back at the group. One fight she didn't want to get involved in. "Good luck, I'm going to go find the portal again." She inched to the side, taking a quick glance around again. Blood dripped from her fingertips slowly, she winced and stood at the doorway.

Enzai coughed out a slight amount of blood feeling alexs blade against his back, he was a bit surprised the boy was so fast, one minute there the next hed vanished hed have to remember that for later encounters. "Fast little brat arent you! But I wont let you beat me" he said laughing evily, turning into the dark purple mist again, slowly enzai circled alex in his mist form, enclosing himself around the quick boy.

"Good luck indeed. This'll be a problem if I don't calm down Alex," Tohru sighed as he stood back up, making sure he took his gun in his hand. Alex looked at the mist as he tried to slash it away, creating wind as well. It didn't seem very effective as he was brought to his knees, shaking, his body unable to take the pain any longer.

Her eyes widened and immediately dropped the cards. They floated down to the ground and burst into flames from the explosion. Ray narrowed her eyes and a card appeared in her hand. Then she revealed another set of cards. "Wonderful choice," Ray sacrcastically said and threw them again. This time, the cards were set on fire.

Taking a deep breath, Cilia shut her eyes quickly. She gasped and disappeared in a quick flash. Only thinking of finding the portal again, if not that would be a serious problem.

Enzai laughed out reforming his body near shingatsu smirking at alex "Heh, your fun brat you know that, tsk, you've hurt me though and that pisses me off" he said a slight snarl in his voice as he looked at shin "Im done playing with him for now, heh, dont want to go killing him off too soon now do I, our funs just begun though little shin, Ill be coming back for you later, trust me" he said feeling a little drained from the fight, he wanted to go off and lick his wounds right now, also he wanted to see the rest of the citys, know the full extent of what he was to claim as his masters.
Casualy enzai sauntered up to shin running his hand through the boys hair before turning into mist again, seeping back out of the house into the night air, "Come my masters new servants its time we leave" his silky voice echoed into the house, calling to joshua and Ray to come with him. Their fight was over for now, they would finish things later.
Shin shuddered again letting out the smallest sigh as the demon dissapeared glad he was finaly gone, all he wanted to do right then was collapse to the floor and disappear from the world, he didnt though instead he went over and knelt down next to alex, placing a hand on his friends shoulder "Lex" shin said quietly looking at the boy sadly.
Roan slashed out at the cards cursing as he cut a few down, feeling the rest run against his skin managing to burn and cut him at the same time causing him to snarl backing off from the girl a little, wanting some distance between her and her flaming cards.

Ray glared at Roan as she reluctantly left the house, grabbing Joshua's hand. "Come on Joshua, we're gonna have to practice and catch up with those two that you noticed," she mumbled.
Joshua blinked. He had been observing the whole thing. "Ah...Hai," he said and followed them.
Before she left, she stopped and looked at Roan. "We'll finish our fight later," she hissed and then stepped out of the house.

Alex eased up a little, the wind that had been in the room now dying down. His shaking did not, however. He had done his best to ignore what Enzai said. But some small part of him had to admit that the boy was right. A small tear trickled down his face as he punched a hole in his floor, cursing his weakness.
Tohru hung back, hesitating for a second before he, too, walked over to Alex and knelt beside him, feeling a bit guilty that he couldn't help at all. "Hey. . .ignore what that b*****d said. . .it wasn't his right to say any of that anyway. And I'm sure he was only using meaningless words," he said quietly, trying to reassure his brother.

Roan smirked to himself as the girl left, a part of him wanting to go after her and finish their fight now, he let it drop thogh instead turning to his friends. "Ne, shiningai, alex-kun you okay?" he said concerned for the two boys.
Shin nodded agreeing with tohru "Please lex ignore what the b*****d said....thats just what hes allways done, allways been good at, he was just trying to irk you, dont believe a word of it kay" shin said softly feeling alexs shaking beneath his hand "Leme, heal you kay...Ive learned a new trick" he said a small half smile coming to his face.

Alex shook his head, trying to get rid of his thoughts. The sword in his hand turned back to its necklace form as he put it back around his neck, not really saying anything. he carefully stood up, barely able to manage as he walked over to the back porch without a word.
Tohru watched Alex before he sighed, feeling a little let-down. "Guess we can't really help him now," he said quietly, a sad smile on his face. He twirled the gun in his hands before he put it back by his bag.

Shin sighed shaking his head "You give up on him to easy, gonna help him if it kills us both" shin said the smirk coming back to his face "Why cause you wanna help him or cause you feel guilty for his pain?" the little voice in his head asked. Shin ignored it getting up and heading out to the back porch to stand next to alex, just looking out at the ocean for a moment before turning to the boy "Please lex im not gonna give you much of a choice in the matter"

"I can just tell what's hurting, that's all," Tohru murmured as he watched Shin leave. He got up, looking at the demonic blood on the ground, not sure if he wanted to try and touch it. Alex remained silent, not bothering to answer. At this point, he could bleed to death and not care.

Shin looked at alex, noting his friends silence "Hey lex..im sorry kay, please dont believe what enzai said, im beggin ya here" shin said a small frown on his face as he hugged alex, a white glow had started in his hands and now it spread along his friends body, working along the slash in his back before it began to eat away at the pain that was causing alex to shake, ebbing it slowly out of alexs body.
"Ne, tohru-kun, shiningai knows what hes doing" he said looking at alexs older brother "Ne, if you know what hurts alex-kun you should try just a little more, maby you can help him feel better" roan said smiling at the older boy.
