Garath nodded looking around. His mind was still in shock. So much alcohol and weapons. He started to grin. "This is definatly cool. I'm definatly going to try and learn how to use one of these." His wlaking stick was forgotten. He knew how to deffend him self from human attackers with the cane but against zombies sharp steel would be so much more comforting. He walked over and began admiring the different swords. "So what do we move up first?" He said finally turning back to face her.

Devon was now completely lost not that he cared. He continued shotting anything that moved. He had a back pack full of ammo so he didn't care about wasting ammo. He was getting tired though and he still had yet to find a place to lay low. He shook his head and lit up another cigar. No Time for sleep he thought. He also popped a couple of pills to prevent fatigue. He was having the time of his life since the army. Either the zombies were getting smarter or their were none left in the area. He hadn't seen one in a while. Smart zombies now that would be scarey even for a skilled soldier. He noticed an abandoned grocery store near by. Tiem to get something to eat. He walked slowly over there, guessing that if the zombies needed food that would be the first place they'd go.

"You can chose whatever one you want." Nina said with a grin. "After you chose one, do me a favor? Can you get the rest of the supplies from down stairs on the dinning table and bring it up here?" She said tapping the table top of the bar area. "I'll be right back... I heard something in my room." Nina said with a nervous smile.
Nina exited the room, leaving Garath there and hopefully bring up the things she needed him to bring up. Gosh I feel stupid... She thought slightly frustrated. I forgot my rapier in my room... Hopefully it's just Crimson. Nina walked down the hall until she was outside her room. She took a deep break and opened the door. She ran in quickly and grabbed the rapier in it's sheath and pit it through her jeans's belt loop. She quickly made it to the window and lift the curtians small enough to look in. She sighed in relief when she saw Crimson... and someone else? Nina swished the curtians open and opened the window as well.
"Glad to see you with us again, Crimson." Nina said with a smile. "And who might this be...?" She said raising her eyebrow. He's hot. Kalila would like him, if she wasn't so into Mizuki right now... Nina thought with a mental smirk."Oh... How rude of me." She mumbled scratching the back of her head. "Crimson come in, you too... Guy." She said awkwardly, moving out of their way. She presented her room with her arms. "Welcome! You better not be infected or we'll kill you." Nina said in a joking way with a happy smile.

Garath nodded and started comparing the different weapons. He tried picking up different ones and seeing how well he could swing them. He finally decided on a light weight chinese saber. He practiced swining it around a bit. He was now imensily glad that he had spent a good chunk of time when he was younger fighting his nieghbors and brother in mock sword fights. He knew abit how to use them but he was still a beginer. He tieed the scabbard onto his belt. He headed back down stairs and started carying the stuff back up to the bar table.

Scoffing, Reshion said, "Reshion. Who might you be?" He said, looking at her. "Don't worry, I can assure you I am not infected." He said, dropping his bag. He set his pistol down on a nearby table and sat down. Looking around, he said, "Soo, how long have you guys been here?" He asked the girl, flashing a smile.

"Well... My name is Nina." Nina started, her eyes darting towards the door. I should probably not have left Garath alone... Ah what the heck. He'll be fine. I'll go back there in a minute. Nina though with a mental sigh. "This is actually my house. I fortified it as soon as I heard of the zombie... or virus outbreak." Nina informed, flashing a smile back. "There is a fellow named Garath who dropped by here earlier in the day. He's in the weapon and bar area." She said jabbing her thumb back at the door. "My friend Kalila and her little brother, Nicholas, came later with a person they ran into, while being chased by zombies, named Mizuki. They left not to long ago to get supplies and things..." Nina said with a nod at the window. "Crimson came in with Christian... I call him Cristiano." Nina whispered the last part. "They came a while after Kalila, Nicholas, and Mizuki." Nina informed him crossing her arms after pointing at Crimson and Christian. "Now if you don't mind... May I ask your country of origin?" Nina said, being little bit nosey. She was interested. Another Asain... How awesome... Nina thought happily. Kalila and her were into them. Kalila more so then her, but what does it matter. Men that look good are just that, despit their race.

"Yeah, I am from Japan, half-black also. But I take after my father, so I say that I am mostly Japanese. My mother..." Reshion trailed off. He got out of the chair and shook her hand. "Thank you for letting me stay here. My marksman skills should prove a great asset to you. I was wondering, could you show me the weapon area?" He said, gazing into her eyes. "My God, she is beautiful." He thought.

Nina shook in return with a smile. "Oh no problem. I would think letting people stay would be good for all of us. It's easier to survive in numbers after all." she said with a grin. "I'm glad you have marksmen skill then. We'll need it to survive." She said down casting her eyes away from his gaze. It made her nervous. Oh Gosh... But... Garath! her mind screamed. "Let's go... I'll show you." Nina said leading him out of the room. "Whenever you want just come join us Crimson." She said to the other girl.
"This will give you a chance to meet Garath." Nina said walking out of the room. She turned to right and walked all the way down the hall. They made it to the weapons room. Nina opened the door and revealed it to him. "All we have are swords for now... You see, my dad collects." Nina said with a grin, glad to show more people the awesome room.
Garath was in the room just putting stuff away. "Hey Garath, this is Reshion." she said with a grin at the other boy. "He's a friend of Crimson, I think." She informed him.

"Swords huh? Never been a big fan of them. I suppose i could learn how to use them." He said, glancing at Nina. "She HAS to be taken Ren. She HAS to." He thought, looking back down the hall. He looked in the room, seeing swords everywhere, any kind he could name. He walked over to one and picked it up. A buster sword, a large broadsword. It made him think of his mother, who tought him a little bit of melee proficiency, not enough to take a 2x4 to a zombies head without reeling back from the recoil of the hit. He shuddered at that thought and shook his head, smiling. "How I survived that encounter...I will never know." He thought to himself. "May I?" He asked Nina, holding up the broadsword. "This thing will cleave anything in two pieces. Normally, I prefer something smaller, but I should be able to swing this thing fairly quickly."

Mizuki hadn't noticed Kalila's struggle. His attention had been focused completely and utterly on the mass of squirming rats some ten foot below. The stench was incredible. And yet, it wasn't just the stench of carrion and sewage. It was that strange smell that somehow he could identify with. It brought up flash images in his mind. Food. Hunt. Food. Kill His pupils mere pinpricks which fluxuated with each heart beat, slower and slower until barely detectable. His breath had slowed to shallow and ragged pants, the fingers of his free hand were clawing at his knee and then relaxing again. He was so entranced by what these new smells told of and had to offer to him that he completely missed out on Kalila's attempts to jump and failing. He had promised only seconds before to help her up and now here he was, too focused on a bunch of rotted rats to even notice that she was close to falling down amongst their ranks. It was only when a small hand tightened about his that he snapped out of it and cocked his head to the side to look at her. His eyes were slightly glazed over, dreamy almost. A sort of lazy, drugged up smile crossed his lips. "Y'did it!" He said giving Kalila's hand a comforting little squeeze. Food. Hunt. Food. Kill
In an instant Kalila was away from his side and tending to her younger brother. He seized that chance to be alone and picked himself up, traipsing over to the other side of the building, and out of the way. He squatted down next to the far wall, confident that Kalila would aid her brother. His hand went to his head and he kneeded his forehead with his knuckles. What the ******** is wrong with me. In a way he understood. He was out in the open again, all these new exciting smells. He'd been like this before out his excursions. The time when the two Crazies had merely glanced his way and left him alone had been when he was outside, flipping out, reacting to certain scents. It was only natural to feel intoxicated by the scents around him, especially as they were in such bulk and such close proximity. He took a deep breath of fresh air and righted himself. He'd have to be more careful. Keep up his guard. He couldn't risk slowly reverbreating back into his more aggressive formats whilst around thw two siblings. He didn't want to put them in that sort of danger. Hell, he didn't want to put himself in that kind of danger. Grinning slightly and feeling more like himself he glanced down at the street below. He spotted a small pack of Crazies in the distance, obviously drawn by the scent the rats were giving off.
He turned and crossed back over to Kalila and Nicholas, whom were both sat squat on the roof looking a little shaken by little worse for the wear. He grinned at them both. "You did awesome back there, you really did!" He sat down next to them, not caring from the dried blood stains near by at all. "There are no rats on the other side. Seems they only have this place covered." He cupped a hand to his ear and listened to the chittering. "Sounds like they know we're up here. Well obviously. The sounds they are making are probably to draw more able bodied predators into the line of duty." Mizuki didn't say anything about the scents they were giving off, simply because on a concious level he didn't know about them. "There are Crazies, maybe five or four on the other side of the building just up the street. I say if we throw an Onion Bomb over there," Mizuki pointed a finger down an ally just off of the right of them, in the middle of both the rats and the infected humans paths, "Both groups will be drawn to the smell, and seeing as such its a small item we can perhaps hope that they'll fight over it. After all, thats a lot of mouths to feed."

"I wander how my friends are holding up" I said to myself while listening to the zombies scratch at the walls and at the now steel covered windows. My parens, both scientists, have been on a special assignment for at least 2 weeks now. Probably working on a way to cure these things, but its been under wraps until now. As far as i care after people turn from human into these zombie like things, they are just target practice. My grandparents, as rich as they may be, hate snobs, so instead of staying in Manhattan they moved to brooklyn. Still they are incredibly wealthy and incredibly danger phobic. They've had their house built to where all they hadd to do was pull a lever and flip a switch and then the house would be hurricane proof. I think it can stand up to a few pitiful zombies. My grandmother called, "Alexander, time for supper." "Alright Nanna, coming." I call my Grandma Nanna and i call my grandpa Pa. During dinner I was in deep thought. My Nanna just calls it day dreaming. I was worried, more for my friends then myself. All my friends lived in brooklyn, I don't have any here, and the few that call me a friend really just want me for my money. Kalila on the other hand was different. She was actually fun. She was Like one year older then me or something. She also said that she had a brother like Ni... something I think it was like Nicholus... But im not sure. My favorite weapons are my sniper and my lucky handgun, Smith and wesson 500. It allways hits its destination. Both of which, for the occasion, I have suited with a silencer. I'm very good at carrying lots of ammo, in most cases it would take me at least 3 or 4 days of non-stop shooting, reloading, and shooting again to deplete the ammo i have on me. three or four days for each gun. If i just stayed here I wouldn't be of much use, but i would probably never run out of ammo. After dinner, i sit on the ceiling of our 3 floor one basement house and looked out, into the empty roads and sidewalks. Normally these would be busseling with people. But now there is just one random zombie walking through the street, just walking in circles. I just stared at him for at least 30 minutes. Then out of no I hear a gunshot that is so near it mostly throws me out of my chair. The zombies head explodes, I turn to my right and see my dad standing there looking down the sight of his gun. He turns to me, gets a really big goofy grin on his face and says, "annoying bastards aren't they."

Garath nodded. "Nice to meet you also Reshion." He did a mental sigh. He was glad there were more survivors but now there where two guys here. This did not bode well for his feelings. This is no time to get jealous or think about things in that way he thought to himself. "So what's your story?" Might as well find out more about him. All the while garath has kept organising the stuff he brought up putting it in a row.

"Oh, not into swords?" Nina asked, a little suprised. Most people she knew, when they were into weapons they were into all sorts. Unless they were into guns, that was an exception. "So you're just a markman? Neat..." Nina said with a smile. Nina noticed Reshion's shutter and was a little confused by it. Maybe the weapons are just a reminder of the zombies... She thought with a mental shrug. He asked if he could use the broadsword. "Of course! Go ahead. Just don't damage the house... I don't know how long we'll be staying here." She said with a little sadness.
Nina smiled as Garath introduced himself to Reshion. "Thank you so much Garath!" Nina said happily as she noticed all the organized batteries and what not. She took a quick look at Garath's head from his fall earlier. it looked better because of the ice from earlier, but it as still a bruise. "So, now that everything is in basic organization, what should we do first?" She asked with her hands on her haps. "I mean, we could either set up people traps or zombie traps... So what's first? Unless you don't feel good Garath. Are you alright?" She asked, still a little worried.
On the outside Kalila and Nicholas rested from their little climb up. Kalila started to examine Mizuki. He doesn't seem right in the head right now... She pondered. Not Insane, but something like day-dreaming... His eyes are even glazed over. The young lady was brought out of her thouhgt process with Mizuki grinned at them and spoke. "Thank you." Both of the said with a nod of their head. I thought we failed miserably... Ok, so we survive. Then we passed with a D-... Nicholas thought, going back to his habit of giving situations letter grades. "No rats on the other side?" Kalila reapeated. "Oh that's good." She said with a sigh and then he told of the "able bodied preditors. Kalila sighed, "But that's not good."
"Sounds good to me." Nicholas said while pulling out an onion from his "Front pouch." He had put his back on his back while he was climbing, but he switched it back to the front as soon as he heard the words "Onion bomb." He stood up and walked back over to the ledge. "Ok, that ally, here we go." Nicholas mumbled to himself. He wasn't baseball or American football player, but he could throw good enough. He took aim and jolted his arm back a forward. The bomb flew through the air and it the side of one the buildings in the ally. It exploded into the spice poof with gorgeous shades of Red, yellow, and orange. It bounced of that wall of the building and hit the one parrallel of it, beating out the rest of the spice. The onion hit the ground, and fell into pieces. The spice floated down very slowly towards the ground. "Good job!" Kalila whispered with a grin. That kind of throw will make the smell stronger and take it a while to fade. I'm sure it'll attract more too. She thought with a grin. Sure enough, the rats all started galloping towards the area at the same time. There was a screech down the road of a human infected, Kalila guessed, and then the same screech getting a little closer after a short pause. "They're coming... Ok it seems to have worked well... What now?" Kalila asked, looking back at Mizuki. She stood up, pulling her brother away from the edge with only half her attention. He was old enough to take care of himself in that sense, but old habits die hard. "The DIY stores that way. You want to go now or would you rather wait for zombie movement to stop?" She said pointing in the direction. As She spoke she looked over the tops of the buildings, trying to device a route. Ah... Now all we are doing is literally hoping from building top to building top. At least until we reach a building too tall in which case we'll walk through it or over it... We might even have to go by ground. Nicholas let himself be pulled back and looked around for himself. It felt kind of surreal being on top of the building. You could see all the infected things. You could see some of the once beautiful Manhattan streets were not so beautiful. Not too far off in the distance a fire could be seen, smake rose up into the sky. Maybe someone committed suicide by burning they're house down with themself still inside it... Or maybe someone is burning the bodies of the dead infected. Nicholas thought bitterly. The skyscrapers of the well known New York could be seen in the distance too. The normally extremly bright buildings weren't bright at all. No one was there to turn on the lights. No tourists from all over the world... Just infected and people trying to survive.

"Not much to tell Garath. My whole family is dead, I suffer from muscle spasms. I am starving, and I killed my mother. Anything else you would like to know?" Reshion said in a cold manner. Reshion took the broadsword and walked out of the room. "Thank you Nina. For letting me stay here." He said, and walked off to the bar area.
Halfway down the hall, Reshion fell to the floor, sobbing. "This whole damn thing. Why must this happen! Why?!" He screamed. Not too long after that, Rehshion had an atack of muscle spasms, he fell to the floor, writhing in pain. "Please, let someone find me here." He managed to think before shrieking in pain.

"You're welcome." Nina replied. She was kind of taken aback by Reshion's cold mannerism with Garath. After Reshion had left the weapons room Nina turned to Garath, who was still organizing stuff on the bar table, and sent him an apologetic look. "You know how things are Garath..." She said with a sad smile. "People are worried for loved ones, suffering from lose, and so much more. Just ignore him for now... He'll come around once he gets over his loss. I'm positive." Nina said with an affirmative nod.
Before Nina could say anymore, just down the hall there was a scream. It took her a little while to register what was going on. At first she thought it might be an attack, but then she realized the voice belong to Reshion. "He could be hurt... Garath come eith me, please." Nina said quickly grabbing Garath's hand and running down the hall. Garath was the only one with any medical knowledge above average in the group. They came up to Reshion on the ground. He was mithering in pain and screaming. It looked like he was twitching, but then Nina remembered Reshion said he had muscle spasms. Nina crouched down on the floor and gathered him up. He held on to his arms tightly, seeing if that would hold him still. "Garath... I have no idea what to do-What do we do?!" she asked a bit paniced. "Um... It'll be alright Reshion, calm down... You'll be fine." Nina whispered to Reshion, hoping at least a pep talk would do some good.
