A: Emo. Goths are waaaay too much of a stereotype, and emo is fun.
People also think that Goths worship Satan, which isn't true.

I'd say a combination thereof, however it's best when they're somewhat easy to tell apart... not the kind thats like "Ok, is he being serious now?" but like, a clear distinction. Hehe.
