"He's my adoptive brother... we only have each other," Mairi said shyly, sitting on the bed. "Ugh.... head's throbbing," Lucas said softly with a grimace. "Hey, at least we're alive, that's what really matters," Shínbào said with a slight smirk.

Lalia Lalia's mom got a change of clothes for Mairi's brother. She heard then come in then went to him. Her mother had him be taking into the bathroom. She has dedicated out towels before beginning to clean him up. "Where does it hurt the most?she asked. Soon Claire joined to help with the guy.

Mairi was a bit worried about her brother, noticing the pajamas laid out for him, her eyes on the floor despite the nice pajamas she now had on. "Calf... pretty sure I heard the bone crack, other than that... head, probably where I slammed it into packed sand," Lucas said shyly with a grimace, wincing as the water ran over his head, revealing a rather ugly scrape just behind his temple, while his calf had an ugly bruise that went halfway up the leg almost to his knee and he was favoring it heavily, barely putting any weight on it. His body was noticeably skinny, though what muscle was there seemed to be lean and powerful. "Heh... shows that our fears... can't always stop us," Shínbào said with a slight smirk as he half slumped on the terrace not too far from the back entrance. His head was throbbing rather painfully.

Lalia"Lalia take your friend and go get cleaned up. We can handle this."said her Aunt Claire. Lalia nodded her head then took Shínbào with her. She knew her mother and Aunt had this under control. Her mother began to look at the guy's leg then frowned slightly. "We'll have to take you in to the doctor. To get a better look at your leg."said her mother.

Mairi exhaled softly as she laid back on the bed, sighing softly as she sat up, feeling cautious and unsure. "There's a doctor? Where?" Lucas said shyly with a unsure but hopeful look. "Lalia? That's a beautiful name," Shínbào said with a soft exhalation, wincing as his head throbbed.

LaliaLalia blushed then nodded her head. "Yes, that is my name."she said. She lead him to another room that contained two beds. Lalia pointed to a closet, "Clothes are in there." Her mother nodded her head as they helped him sit up. Her sister Claire began to help change his clothes "Relax, Claire is a nurse. She will take care of you until tomorrow. We can't get you there because of the storm. I'm sure you and your sister are hungry."said her mother.

Mairi took a deep breath, her eyes drifting half closed before she jumped as a echoing boom of thunder sounded, making her flinch. "Ugh, that would be the luck. Guess it's better than being stuck with someone that doesn't even try taking care of others," Lucas said shyly with a blush as he was sliding on the unfamiliar creamy gold Chinese style pajamas. "Were you named after the 'lilac'? Your name sounds similar to that, though 'laelia' is really a subgenus of the orchid family of flowers," Shínbào said with a soft sigh. "Is there something for severe headaches?" he said shyly.

Lalia Lalia blushed even more when she walked to her closet then opened it. She stepped inside and came out with a tank top and shorts. Lalia walked into the small bathroom and shut the door. She changed into them, "My mother came up with my name."she said.
"Yes now since we got you cleaned up, we'll take you to your sister then bring you guys food."said her mother. They carefully helped him to the room and laid him down on the bed. Claire made sure that his leg was on a pillow then got him medicine for his head. "Here for your headache. My sister will bring you guys some food."she said.

Mairi grimaced, settling on the bed with her arms around her knees before her eyes widened slightly as Lucas was helped into the room, noticing he was badly limping, barely putting any weight on his left leg, which didn't help as his right side was actually his weaker side. "Go raibh míle maith agat," Lucas said shyly with a blush as he sat up on the bed with his elbows supporting him. "Hmmm, well, she did justice, as you're extremely beautiful, daresay, as rare as a black rose," Shínbào said with a soft sigh, his gaze drifting away from the bathroom as he heard the door open before he heard Lalia speak, unaware he was blushing; he was also aware that it was impossible for a black rose to occur naturally, unaided by anything. "Hopefully it's anything but dry oatcakes, we've had enough of that to last a lifetime," he said shyly. Mairi gagged at that. "Ugh, don't remind me. Who stocks a sailing ship with nothing but dry oatcakes and fruitcake?" she sighed with exasperation.

Lalia's mother came back in with pizza and something to drink for the two. "Eat up then get some rest."she said.

LilyStudent (Freshman)Lily looked & smiled toward Claire. Claire, okay. You're a nice Host Aunt to me. Lily says this as she snuggles into her bed and goes to sleep. Dreaming about the rest of the human world she'll hopefully see: A human school to attend, human friends to make & maybe meet a cute boy to fall in love with.

Mairi blinked, a bit surprised as she saw the pizza before she giggled. "Have a good night," Lucas said shyly. "Um... I've never shared a bed with anyone," Shínbào said quietly with a soft sigh as he lay on the bed on top of the covers. He wasn't sure if her mother would come to check on them, but suspected she would.
