Radiant Anon Solsi Sammy took her bowl back and clicked her chopsticks together. "There's an easy way to handle that." She tipped the bowl beside the pile of rice and used the chopsticks to push it into the bowl rather than lift it up like before. "Sticky rice is easier to pick up, but sometimes you get lucky with other kinds. Well, then you just..." She held the bowl up to her lips and swept the rice into her mouth. "See?" she said cheerily, bits of rice dotting her cheeks as she swallowed. "Wait, take me somewhere?" she asked, mind doing a double-take. Her eyes were bright and wide, partly confused what he meant by that.OOC: I have many things up my sleeve. Trouble is I can only whip them out when scenes call for it. Again, he watched fascinated as she showed more ways to make using the chopsticks easier. He chuckled and using his napkin, he reached over and carefully wiped the rice off her face.
"I see, that is easier."
Moving his hand back, he smiled setting his napkin down beside himself.
"Yes, take you somewhere. Is that too odd an idea?"
((I see and you have my interest piqued. ))

Sammy closed her eyes as he reached out and wiped the crumbs off her face she didn't realize was there. "Mmm...mm...mfff..." she hummed cutely as the cloth passed over her mouth. Shaking her head a little, she smiled with a brow raised slightly. "Heh, thanks. It all gone now?" She reached out and cupped the tea glass in her hands just to feel its warmth. "No, it's not. I guess it just surprised me, for some reason." She stared into the murky beverage, wondering why it had. "Sounds good though." she said with a faint smile.OOC: I do have an idea for the end of the meal, so you shall see what I mean.

Radiant Anon Solsi Sammy closed her eyes as he reached out and wiped the crumbs off her face she didn't realize was there. "Mmm...mm...mfff..." she hummed cutely as the cloth passed over her mouth. Shaking her head a little, she smiled with a brow raised slightly. "Heh, thanks. It all gone now?" She reached out and cupped the tea glass in her hands just to feel its warmth. "No, it's not. I guess it just surprised me, for some reason." She stared into the murky beverage, wondering why it had. "Sounds good though." she said with a faint smile.OOC: I do have an idea for the end of the meal, so you shall see what I mean. Tobias chuckled more at her cute little noises and nodded.
"You are welcome. Yes, all gone."
Setting his chopsticks down, his brow raised to a slight degree.
"Did you not think me capable of such an offer? Perhaps I can be more surprising than I realize."
He didn't seem bothered by it, just a little confused by her being surprised by it. Sipping his tea, he wondered if perhaps it had been in how he brought it up. Of course, he should actually ask instead of going on the assumption she would want to go. Setting his cup down, he made sure to make eye contact.
"Would you like to go get a meal with me another time, Sammy my dear?"
((I will do my best to wait and see then. ))

Sammy blinked, her hands making the once still water ripple. Slowly, she lifted her chin and met his eyes. Her stare was vacant a moment, then it almost seemed to glow when she smiled. "I'd love to." she accepted sweetly. Though his glass was on the table she moved her cup to clink it as if making a toast.OOC: Lemme know when you're ready to progress. Sometimes I get caught up in a character dialogue.

Her stare was vacant a moment, then it almost seemed to glow when she smiled. "I'd love to." she accepted sweetly. Though his glass was on the table she moved her cup to clink it as if making a toast.OOC: Lemme know when you're ready to progress. Sometimes I get caught up in a character dialogue. His eyes seemed to light up some as well.
"Wonderful, we can plan further on that later. Have to finish one meal before another after all."
Taking his cup as she clinked her's against it, he raised it then sipped.
"We should really eat some more before it gets cold."
((Think we might need to have them finish eating then, they really haven't eaten much. ))

Sammy took a drink as well. "Ah, right. Down to business then!" She laughed a little and focused on conquering the plate. As the food dwindled down the waitress returned with their bill and Sammy handed her a card. After processing, she returned it with a receipt and two fortune cookies. Sammy smiled. "Oh, I nearly forgot. Our fortune cookies. Have you heard of these? You crack them open and they have little slips of paper inside that tell you your fortune. Here, pick one." She took one in each hand and held her palms open for Tobias to choose.OOC: Here we go, hehe.

It was probably somewhat amusing to see, but he enjoyed the meal thoroughly. When the fortune cookies came, he simply looked at them as if studying something.
"I have not, but they sound interesting. Alright, I shall try this one."
Reaching out, he took the cookie from her left hand. Tobias then looked to her in case there was a certain way to go about opening it.

Sammy peeled the plastic off and cracked the cookie open down the middle. Pinching the piece of paper inside, she pulled it out and popped the two halves in her mouth. As she chewed, she glanced down at the paper to consult the fates...Love may be closer than you think.Blinking widely, Sammy coughed, nearly choking on her dessert. Chasing it quickly with a gulp of tea she quickly recovered, trying not to look too flustered. "Cah, sorry. Even a flower needs time to fully bloom, some things are worth a wait.
His brow raised, but he smiled a little then ate his cookie. Was that really a fortune, he wondered to himself.
"What did your's say, Sammy my dear?"
((Sounds about right. Heh, think she can keep from blushing at that?
I need to leave for awhile, but I'll probably be back later. If you have to go before then, I wish you a pleasant evening. ))

Taking his advice she took another sip of tea and sighed, her shoulders relaxing as he read his fortune silently to himself. "What did your's say, Sammy my dear?" he asked after a moment had passed. She looked around to see where the slip of paper went off to. "Ah, here it is." Spotting it, she slid it across the table for him to see.OOC: It'd be hard to. All right. If I don't see you again tonight, I'll see you tomorrow.

Holding out his fortune to her, he just kept smiling. There would be no questioning of it if she wanted to save her's. Finishing off his tea, he wiped his mouth with his napkin and set it to the side.
"Shall we get going?"

Sammy read his fortune, trying to figure it out. "Mm." she confirmed with a nod. "More mysterious like this, or referencing nature's more like it." She gave it back and stood up from her seat, stretching her arms straight up in the air. "Mmm, that was good. Hopefully we won't have to wait half an hour before dancing again...no wait, that's swimming. Haha, we're good." Coming around to his side she held out both arms to help him up, though she was certain he didn't need it. "Sure. Let's hit the trail."OOC: I can't believe the day after tomorrow is Valentines' Day already.
Think Gaia will wait till the day-of to launch the event?

She gave it back and stood up from her seat, stretching her arms straight up in the air. "Mmm, that was good. "No you do not have to wait, but you might not want to get too strenuous after a meal."
Amusement showed in his eyes as she offered him both arms.
"Are you helping me up, or offering to carry me?"
He was only teasing a little and took her hands, but not so much to help stand. Once he was standing, he used her held hands to carefully turn her to face the door.
"Thank you for the meal, Sammy my dear."
((Either way, it just sort of seems last minute at this point. ))
