Monster watched carefully as the woman left, when she came back with- MEAT. Monster sniffed at the air and hungrily salivated as the food drew near, and as it was placed in front of him he pounced on the steak, nearly swallowing it whole in his voracious appetite. Once it was gone he went to licking the plate, and even began to gnaw on that too before realizing it wasn't exactly edible.

It was a full moon; that much was clear by the sky. Still, Auriga could not help but head for Monster's room to make sure all was well. Seeing the door slightly ajar, she suddenly became worried. With a hop, skip, and a jump, she was inside the door staring at the back of a pirate hat. "W-What are you doing in here??? Don't you know it is a full moon?"

*she touched his fur, light as a feather, while he was distracted with the steak. Making a mental note, she stood, watching him in amusement as he tried to devour the paper plate.* Hmmm, perhaps all ye need is one fantastic meal ta satisfy yer stomach. (knowing full well that this is most likely a far more complicated situation than that....but hey. Can't blame a girl for trying....) *hears a voice behind her and turns, sees a wizardy-looking person standing before her* Aye, that I did. Tha's exactly why I came ta see our Blue, Furry friend, here. Someone's got ta find a better use fer him in this state than bein' chained ta a wall. *leaves briefly and returns with another steak*

The Lusty Pirate -anon- *hears a voice behind her and turns, sees a wizardy-looking person standing before her* Aye, that I did. Tha's exactly why I came ta see our Blue, Furry friend, here. Unfortunately Monster's appetite would not be satisfied so easily, even on a normal day was was a bottomless pit. And even with the knowledge of its in-edibility he continued to absentmindedly chew on the plate, if only to make his violently hungry stomach feel better for a moment. Then Auri entered the room in a panic and Monster stared at her and growled, a possible new food source. His attempts to break free began once more until Lusty returned with another steak, taking his attention off of Auriga. Oh he could get used to this.

*putting a hand on her hip and sighing, she places the steak before the creature, once more. Straightening, she addresses the issue* Aye, I have no intentions ta train and use him fer my own purposes. But he is no use ta himself if he has ta tie himself up every time the moon is full. What use do I have fer a feral Furry Blue? *looks at the creature with sympathy* I imagine 'tis difficult fer a bein' ta always be afraid that he'll hurt his friends. Seems ta me that someone ought ta help 'im. Tha's what I aim ta do. *nods firmly*
*smirks* Besides, he hasn't even formally met me, yet, and ain't that a cryin' shame?

Monster greedily devoured the second steak, ignoring the ladies and their discussion entirely as he enjoyed a fleeting moment of satisfaction. When he finished he howled almost happily before his hunger pains quickly returned and he resumed his careful watching of his next possible meals...

Auriga's question was a valid one, as now his focus was back onto them, and to the feral monster there was little difference between them and a steak. Growling lowly he began to gnaw at that chains that bound him in an attempt to free himself, and well, his jaw is pretty powerful in this state, so he very well could break them given enough time.

*laughs aloud* Aye, that we do. Apparently someone in the Guild joined the Meat-o'-the-Month club and, wouldn't ye know it? There's a massive box full o' the biggest, juiciest steaks ye ever seen in all yer life. Gimme a moment. *leaves, returning momentarily with a large, cold cardboard box with the words 'Meat-Of-The-Month Club: Steaks'. She takes out another steak and places it in front of Monster, then closes the cardboard box and perches atop it, once more pulling out her flask and taking a healthy gulp*
