05: Are you a creature based on an animal found in the real world? Yes
07: Are you at least medium sized? Yes
08: Can you fly? Yes
10: Are you of the animal, or magical beast type? Yes
11: Are you found in a D&D 3.5e Monster Manual? Yes
17: Does your name begin with a consonant? Yes
18: Is your CR between 11-16? Yes
So just go to the back of the monster manual and see what conforms with these within the CR11-16 range.

There are five. Two came out near the end of 3.5's run, but they are part of the format.
But that doesn't really matter because this monster actually is in the first three books. You must be overlooking something.
It is an animal or magical beast.
It has a CR of either 11 or 16.
It is at least medium sized. (Meaning it can be larger, but not smaller.)
It can fly.
Its name begins with a consonant.
Just those five things right there should be all that you need.

I'd take a stab at if it I had more than the basic MM to leaf through (and I dun think it is in the basic MM) but... I don't. Plus I've done enough already, I think other people should have a go. xD.
For the hell of it... and to narrow it down even more:
Are you a magical beast?
Are you large or huge sized?
