 Elkand smiled at her ' I guess you could say both...this place is real however if there is something that threatens this place then it vanishes." he said " This is such a great place, peaceful and a great place to train and not destroy everything." he and looked at her " Well come on its a much better view on the hill!" he said and ran off and all the way up the hill where he waited for her.

 Larkanna continued to gaze around. It truly was a beautiful place. It gave her the feeling of safety, where she coudl never be hurt. Looking back at him as he ran up the hill, she dashed up after him, surprisingly fast for her lack of real exercise. "This place is beautiful..." She said, "It's as if fate stopped creating ugly places like large cities and smiled upon this plot of land." Kneeling, she picked a flower and gazed at its delicate petals. "No magic has touched this place in any way to make it so lovely... which is what I consider true beauty."

Elkand smiled and sat underneath the tree as he looked out into the sky. He closed his eyes " I know it doesn't seem like much happens here but this place is really fun even without the physical activity." he said and looked at her " This place is sacred ground so sacred it was hidden from the rest of the world." he said " It has remained untouched by human hands and is one of the few places such natural peace can be found." he put his hands behind his head and closed his eyes. He took in a deep breath and let it out in one sentence " A place where time no longer matters and the sun shines bright and the nights bring beauty that can't be replicated even by the strongest magic." he said.

Larkanna walked over and sat next to him, continuing to looked around this place that was lost in time. Looking back at him, she realized that he looked so at peace, as if the rest of the world could just fade away and he wouldn't care. At this point in time in this area, she probably wouldn't care either. But if it were lost in time... "So you can't tell what time it is in the real world?" She asked, worried that they might miss midnight. Time telling spells were probably useless here in this realm.

Elkand looked at her " I can." he said " I must as I would always report here before my lessons and before I went to go see..." he sighed and " We won't miss midnight, we're not gonna miss out on all the fun of meeting Lujei!" he said and smiled. He stood up " Lets take a walk my dear." he said and started walking down the hill.

Larkanna's eyes met his if even for a moment, but she could tell that there was more to him other than being a highly acclaimed wizard that had gone to an extremely high status school, and being born and raised in a powerful magical family. Standing, she had to walked very quickly to catch up with him. "Who did you go see, if you don't mind me asking." She didn't want to seem rude, but since he knew all about her past, having 'stolen' her memories, she felt as if he owed her at least a few memories from him.

Elkand kept walking not turning to look at her " Larkanna...have you ever loved someone you couldn't?" he asked her as he walked towards what seemed to be the cliffs in the distance. He sighed" Having to hide it from everyone on fear of what might happen to that person...." he asked as he reached them and stood looking at the endless ocean. His face had suddenly gone grim as he looked out. He tried to forget but he wanted her to know just in case.

Larkanna watched as his expression grew grim as he stared out upon the ocean. She shook her head, not really understanding what he was talking about, but would try to once he continued. Her eyes drifted to the ocean, then without any emotion on her face, she replied, "I have never loved anyone." It was true. She'd just got up and walked away from her original family in search of power that she'd believed she could obtain if she tried hard enough. Once all of her mentors had taught her every detail they could, she would thank them and leave to find yet another that was better or wiser. She'd built a wall around her heart as she'd grown older and more powerful. To love was the experience pain, and she'd felt as much physical pain that no one else would be able to endure. Emotional pain was one that she couldn't handle, the one thing she had strived to hide from over the years. Forcing everything that she'd begun to feel for Elkand away, she asked, "To love is to find heartbreak and experience nothing but pain and the greatest of suffering."

Elkand chuckled " Well that tells me you've built a wall...you've been hiding from it." he said " But there are things to be learned from such pain." he said " There are many loves one might face and one learns from each one but not all of them end in heartbreak." he sighed. He shrugged " And there few lessons as harsh as having to take the life of the person you love." he said " But I suppose your lucky...but witches don't really get love but I can't blame them." he said " Besides I wouldn't tell you if you didn't have the right to know...I found out almost everything about you so you might as well know everything about me." he crossed his arms.

Larkanna gave him a slight glare, "One of my goals was to recreate the world so that it would no longer endure the suffering as many feel." She said truthfully as her amber eyes darted back to the ocean. "A wonderful place it would be... though I would no longer exist to see it." Sighing tiredly, she nodded, "Then if you'd like to share, please do. It'll kill some time."

Elkand looked up " An impossible goal." he said " Learn from the mistakes of others...a world without suffering is impossible to create and isn't a world at all." he said " It may seem terrible but the world needs it as much as it needs death, war, hatred, pain, sorrow." he said " All of these are found in perfect balance and without them a large void would be left and if not filled then the world you created would crumble." he sighed and walked forward to the edge of the cliff " If possible could you call Wyrm out here as well he might need to hear this..I meant to discuss it with him for awhile but I was waiting for the right time..doing it before going to meet Lujei would be wise if we somehow managed to offend her." he said.

Larkanna nodded, "Impossible, yes, but that never kept me from trying." Sighing a little, she wanted to leave, to run away from everything that had happened, but that would be cowardly. "As a child, everyone had told me it was impossible to ever be strong enough to even begin using real spells. The spell that I had found, the one that connected me with you was a spell that could allow me to become something of incredible. Of course, I would linger on earth for the rest of eternity as a spirit, but I would be able to shape that world...."
Holding up the charm at the end of her necklace, she said, "Wyrm, we'd like to see you."
The dog-sized dragon appeared in between the witch and wizard, his fire colored scales holding an ethreal glow in this ethreal place. "I am present."

Elkand nodded " Thank you, Sorry to disturb you like this Wyrm but you'll need to hear about this as well." he said " You'll need to be present when speaking to Lujei, she is your sister after all." he said and sat at the edge of the cliff and looked down at the water. He closed his eyes and took in the smell " These waters and pehaps the calmest in the world yet so devoid of life." he said " Beautiful and deep a perfect place for a creature who thrives on the water....how she loved them so when she was alive." he said " Icellia of ancient seas but at the time she was called Eris having lost all memory of her previous life." he said. He smiled " Reduced from her once great and powerful state to that of an apprentice learning along side me." he looked at them " When you were defeated yuor son tried to destroy her as well however Lujei or as you know her Aurora stepped in of course so she got away however injured and forced to take on human form.' he said " I got to know her, I helped her get along with her lessons and in turn she helped me." he said " But there was always that look of sorrow in her eyes though she couldn't remember and I certainly didn't know...back then knew nothing." he said " However these days Wyrms are thought of as creatures that need to be eliminated since many problems stem from the elder dragons..beings you produced." he said " Icellia began to gain her memories back and was starting to go insane and would gain her powers back with each day." he said " She sill loved you obviously but was rather conflicted." he said he didn't want to go into great detail as midnight approached " Eventually they found out who she really was and at that point we had grown very close but they weren't going to let her live...so I was ordered to kill her...I didn't want to but soon she asked me to knowing this world had no place for her she just asked I protect this place.' he said " I'd go into greater detail but I feel we must leave." he said " We need Wyrm for this beacuse Lujei was still looking for you or at least thats the last thing she told a council member before vanishing...so life you talk to her we have a better chance of getting what we want, also I thought you'd like to know what happened to her if you didn't already know " he said " lets go before we miss it." he said.

Larkanna and Wyrm listened to his words in complete silence. Larkanna sat down at the edge of the cliff, unsure about what to say. So he had loved her. The way he'd spoken of her made her mind up about that much. She didn't know what to say and now that she knew, she'd be facing a dragon's spirit.
Wyrm grew in size until he was the size of a horse, his eyes blazing with rage. "You did little to save her?! My love Icellia would never have given in!" He snarled, "She shouldn't have died by mortal's hands! She deserved to die peacefully in her sleep like any noble and worthy dragon!" Shriking in size until he was the size of a large dog yet again, he lay down on the edge of teh cliff, anger replaced by complete sorrow. "Icellia... how I wish I could have spoken to you in my confinement."
Larkanna placed her hand on his head and said quietly, "You deserve to pass into the afterlife, Wyrm." She said quietly, not wanting her familiar to leave, but wanting him to be happy. "When we see her... perhaps she'll be able to remove you from the stone and both of you may finally be reunited."

Elkand nodded looking at Wyrm and sighed " I'm sorry Wyrm...I would have willingly gone against everyone but..she didn't want that...she asked me to I suppose she thought she could see you." he said his hands behind his back " I apologize Wyrm..we'll have to see what happens when we see her." he said a door appearing in front of them as he opened it " Take your time .." he said and stepped out leaving it open for them as he waited. He suddenly felt very tired and felt very happy as he walked to the front of his home. He hadn't forgotten the conversation he had but he wasn't really as serious as he was before. He went outside and tapped his staff on the ground calling the bird once again as he got on and waited for the two.
