~¤•Knights of Hyrule•¤~

I guide my Brothers. I fight for my family...

Captain Alastor, who was sitting up in the windmill, watched as Destral walked down the trail from Death Mountain into Kakariko Village. -What in the world? Nobody should be coming down from Death Mountain! How the hell did he get up there?!- Alastor thought as he stood up from his chair. He watched as Destral approached the gaurds who questioned him as to why he was up there. The reason why they were gaurding that entrance was so nobody went up Death Mountain to encounter the hostile Gorons.

-Since the two weeks we've been stationed here, there's been no reports of anyone going up there and I have men on duty 24 hours. How is this man coming DOWN Death Mountain.- he thought. Hopefully the gaurds were asking the same questions. After about a minute or so of them questioning the man, they let Destral pass. -Whatever his excuse was, must've been good enough. Still...- Alastor took out his small telescope and aimed it at Destral. He could observe him in more detail. - Red hair with a large red matching gauntlet going from his hand all the way up his shoulder. Thats a mightly long sword too. Must've cost alot of money.- he thought wondering what he was doing up there.

Alastor looked over calling one of the soldiers over who was having a conversation with a villager. "Hey! Coporal Hanson!" The Captain called out towards him. "Tell Coporal Lane and Private Gerrard to come see me. And find two soldiers to replace them at their post for the time being." the soldier saluted Alastor and went of to perform his duty. In a couple minutes two soldiers, Coporal Lane with the Keaton Mask and Private Gerrard without showed up at the bottom of the windmill. Alastor walked down the stairs of the windmill and appeared outside the door in front of the two soldiers. "Hello boys. I think we need to have a talk."

But my main purpose is to live for Hyrule...

Eidolon, Sage of the Forest

The Triforce of Wisdom has once again been squandered on an incompetent little girl.

People were approaching. Two of them. A woman, or more accurately, a girl, and a soldier. Presumably Hylian. A couple looking to vacation in the Forest? Perhaps. Didn't matter who they were or what they intended, they weren't getting in. Especially if one of them was a Hylian soldier. Despite recent events, Eidolon was no murderer. The Deku tree would not have appointed him as successor if he was prone to smashing the heads of every person that wandered too close to the forest.

He hefted up his hammer over his shoulder and was only able to take half a step forward before a familiar tune stopped him. Saria's song. If there was ever a signal for Eidolon that said, "Chill out, dude. They're buddies." then it would be that song. Eidolon of course didn't like it, not one bit. But if Saria was okay with it well...They couldn't be all that bad, right? Not that Eidolon could particularly judge good and bad, seeing as he flung a boulder into Castle Town Market not but a few hours ago.

He took a step back, returning to the spot he was in previously. He kept his hammer over his shoulder and watched begrudgingly as the girl and soldier drew closer.

Allow me to remedy that.

The forest and it's creatures is what I protect...
☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵

Saria knelt in a tree, looking at Eidolon. She moved the Ocarina from her mouth and placed it in her pocket. Breathing in relief when she hopped down from the tree and landed beside him. She glanced back up at him, nodding, knowing he had done the right thing by backing down.

"Let me deal with this one Eidolon... Don't worry about it."

She turned and headed over to the ones who approached Eidolon without hesitation, thought the two of them were almost half the size as Eidolon, well, she was half the size of these Hylians. Glancing up at them, she gave a slight bow, seeing Eva smile brightly at her, but was nervously glancing over at Eidolon, who stood a ways off.

"To friends who have entered the forest, welcome. Though, I do wish to welcome you... but, these are dark times for the forest. I ask you do not stay and you leave immediately. Please, it is not that we do not welcome visitors in the past... but some unexplained events. The forest is no longer open to visitors... I ask, no... I beg of you, please... leave, and do not return."

Eva was glancing over Saria's shoulder, though she didn't have to glance over, seeing the girl was the size of a 7 or 9 year old child. She looked up at Eidolon. So, this was successor to Saria? The sage of the forest, the one who had sent that boulder towards Castle Town. Her heart pounded against her chest, not that she was scared. She was always anxious to meet another successor like herself, even though Eidolon probably saw her as another Hylian. She kept her eye on him and bow quickly towards him. When Saria stopped in front of them, saying that they must leave, she quickly stepped forward.

"But why Saria? Why must those who come to the forest leave? I've heard of trouble here... people who enter the forest cannot leave... animals can no longer control themselves... tree's dying... why is this Saria? Can you not explain?

She watched as the Korkri turned her head away, small tears were glinting in her eye from the sun high above their heads. She did not speak, as if she was trying to contain herself from something. Something that was piercing into her heart.

Kokiri Forest:Entrance
Sooo...

Varten kept staring up at the huge creature next to the kokiri girl. How exactly were Hylians supposed to beat these things? Even his larger sword probably wouldn't so much as annoy the guy.
"Err...is there something going on here that may be scaring the animals...besides this guy..."
He took a small step back, trying not to be cowardly but considering he was looking at a giant creature that was carrying a hammer that was unnecessary because it's own two hands could probably kill him, Varten could be given a bit of a break.
"Soo...you know the guy who sent that giant boulder?"

...is this going to be worth my time soon?

Destral
The End...?

Kakiriko Village:Centre of Town

Seeing a Hylian knight go talk to the guards, Destral knew he had to disappear. Getting out of town quickly would be too obvious a move, so it was best to try to hide within the townspeople until the next day or so. But where can I hide...maybe the Graveyard? But wouldn't it be-wait, why do I care about following rules?
Trying to appear calm, Destral headed towards the graveyard, as if he were a soldier looking to check on a relative's grave. Hopefuly no one would notice that he didn't come out because it was closed.
Quickly, Destral scrambled over the gate and looked around the tombstones. He stared at a very large one, giving it a quick read. It was amusing how this grave was dedicated to the Sheikah and he went in here pretending to be seeing a relative. He lifted his sword off his shoulder, then struck the stone with his hand. Luckily, he only used enough force to make it crack, where is slowly fell apart. Being so far away from the village, it was unlikely anyone would hear the sound. He turned towards the other tombstones, cracking his fingers in anticipation. It was a long shot, but maybe the surviving sheikah in Hyrule will feel angered that the villagers let the graves be desecrated, if not done by the villagers themselves. Halfway through, he stopped and opened the gate from inside. It made a loud screech, but he moved it slowly enough it wouldn't carry. It was just wide enough for him to fit through. Perfect.
He turned and resumed his work, not because it was part of his scheme but because he could.

...It draws near.

Eva looked over at Varten, going to go say something, but something was bugging her head. Ugh... why does my- she froze at the thought. Remembering when she was just tweleve, some kids were in the graveyard right next to the Shadow temple, they were starting to disgrace some of the tomestones and Impa knew right away and scared them away. She explained, that she wasn't the only one guarding the Shadow temple. The only reason the grave yard was below the shadow temple... was because the spirits protected the shadow temple... her eyes widened. Someone, or something was disgracing that grave. She clutched her head. Transforming into her Shiekah form and grabbed Varten's hand. "I'll be back Saria... Keep your guard up... something is attacking the temples... or... well my temple." She turned and darted off at a face pace and stopped right outside the forest. She turned and looked over at Varten. She looked back over at the castle. She pulled her scarf down from her mouth and approached him, standing up on her toes and kissed him on the cheek.

"Meet up with me in Kakariko village, alright. Promise me?!"

She pulled the cloth back over her mouth and darted off towards the village before Varten could reply. She trusted him, hopefully he would go. She entered the village heading straight toward the graveyard before anyone could spot her and noticed the gate was half way open. She moved over to it and slipped inside. She blinked turning her eyes widened when she saw the Sheikah grave, a memorial for all the brave Sheikah's protecting the Royal family. Who would-

She looked up seeing the culprit. A man, taller than her was moving around desgracing the graves. Her lip quivering with anger. She pulled out her throwing knife and held three in her hand, she tossed it in Destrals direction and hit the sword he was carrying.

Destral
The End...?

Kakiriko Village: Graveyard

Destral thought he heard something, but ignored it until he found a knife knock his sword away. He turned angrily, but his voice was oddly calm, like a teacher scolding a naughty student.
"My my, do you know how long it took me to steal a sword like that...Sheikah?"
He let out a small chuckle and walked over, scooping it up. He seemed to weigh it in his hand as he spoke.
"Hmmm...I'm not sure how well I can use this, but it can't be much more different than my usual weapons. Now, little Sheikah, yes, I know what you are. Who else would come running here and dress in such obvious and eye-catching garb? Or maybe it's eye-catching because I see in a different light perspective you do. Besides that, are you here to punish me like a bad little 'Hylian' Knight I am or is this going to be a bit rougher?"
He twirled his sword once, circling right of Eva. He kept his gaze observant, though he smiled as if he had everything all figured out.

...It draws near.

Varten blushed a bit from the kiss on the cheek, rubbing his face a bit. He then started to rub his tattoo nervously, then realized what he was supposed to be doing. He hurried out to Hyrule Field, trying to remember which way Kakiriko village was. He glanced left and right, hoping to not see any more wolfos or other monsters. What could have happened to make Eva leave like that? He'd never been to kakriko village before so he had no idea what could be there.
...is this going to be worth my time soon?

Eva glared at him, pulling out the two short swords out of the sheath, she was still standing right next to the gate, and she flipped the hilt over and rammed it against the gate, a loud ringing echoed through the village.

"Oops, did I do that. So sorry, I didn't mean to revile you... I'm guessing we have two minutes before the guards come rushing here, wondering what's going on... shall we dance?"

She vanished into the shadows before Destral could reply. While he was looking around Eva moved and landed right in his shadow ramming the hilt of her sword into his back, sending him forward. She pulled out a Deku nut and held it in her hand standing there in a spread pose ready for his attack.

Eidolon, Sage of the Forest

The Triforce of Wisdom has once again been squandered on an incompetent little girl.

Eidolon remained silent as Saria and the other girl talked about the forest. Saria was warning them away, more or less the same as what Eidolon would've done, but then the girl started asking questions. Then Saria appeared to start struggling to hold back tears. She probably should've just let him handle it.

That wouldn't do.

Eidolon took a step forward, preparing to send the two travelers on their way before things got worse, when the male of the group started talking...To him. Eidolon prepared to answer, when suddenly the girl transformed from regular garments into a rather silly looking costume, complete with cat-faced shin guards. Perhaps if times were not so trying, he would have chuckled. It was readily apparent that this was no little girl, but a Sheikah. Interesting. Before he could say anything she said something about Kakariko Village and ran off faster than the speed of sound, leaving her male companion standing there. He stood there awkwardly for a minute before running off at a brisk pace. Apparently, he didn't share her powers.

Eidolon returned his attention to Saria, who still seemed to be biting back tears. Eidolon's forte was in knowledge and wisdom, not comfort. He wasn't sure how to go about mending the emotions of others, but if he didn't it would only get worse. He had to say something...

"Are you alright, Saria...?

Allow me to remedy that.

Destral
The End...?

Kakiriko Village: Graveyard

Destral growled and turned around, slashing his sword akwardly, the blade almost slipping out of his hands. He tried to follow up with a second horizontal slash that was cut short halfway, a oddly precise kick to the knee in contrast to his sword-wielding ability. He then would try a ....somewhat vertical slash to hopefully get close to Eva's head.
"I'll beat you and get out of here before the guards do! And don't think you can find me!"
he growled, though light-heartedly. Of course, with that odd teleporting power things might get slightly difficult...

☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵☵

Saria had watched Eva run off, breathing when the two had left. She blinked when she heard Eidolon walk up behind her and asked her if she was alright, she almost jumped, but even she was use to it, turning around she looked over at him. Should she tell him of her plans, she looked back out towards the entrance, biting gently into her lips in thought.

"The forest is my responsibility... I need to protect it. I need to protect the Deku tree... Eidolon. Can you make sure that no one comes while I'm gone... nothing in this forest can help him. So I have to look else where..."

But where are you going to go Saria? You said it yourself Link's not going to help you, and you don't even know what's wrong with the Deku tree...But, I can't just sit around, waiting for him to die, watching the forest die around me... I need to help him... I must at least try... she thought, looking over at the entrance again. Even if she died, Eidolon would be here to take care of the forest temple... he was much better and wiser than she. So she had to do what she could, before Eidolon could respond, hold her back, or not let her go, Saria ran off and out of the forest.

Ayame just smirked, but she got a little but cocky with her dodging and his sword nicked her cheek right above her cloth, making her just smirk softly. Jumping back she looked at Destral and shook her head. "Do you even know how to use a sword? You're not going to kill me easy if you just swing your sword around..." She had both her short swords in her hands, keeping one low, and the other one over her face, not moving to attack him as he swiped his sword at her.

Destral
The End...?

Kakiriko Village: Graveyard

Destral cursed, trying to remember to keep an alias as a hylian knight. He tried to hold himself in as he attacked again, wildly swinging his sword. He then did a sudden sweeping kick, cut through halfway with a sudden uppercut with his fist. Screw the sword, it was just making this difficult for him.
"I know enough to beat you."
He tried to keep a smile on his face, but his eyes blazed with hatred and anger.

Eva noticed the sword was slowing him down and was starting to throw punches at her. Eva leaped when he threw the sweeping kick and almost was knocked back with the punched half way. She backed flipped and pulled out one of her throwing knives holding it against his gauntlet hand as he threw another punch at her, she pushed him back and swiped at his neck but nicked his chin. She flipped and grabbed his chin and threw him backwards into the wall. She turned her head when she heard footsteps and rushed forward and flipped herself upwards and landed on the fence that led to a platform above. Soldiers started to flood the graveyard looking around for the problem. "Good soldiers of Hyrule, tell your Capitan, that this graveyard is OFF LIMITS to all visitors. Looks like our red haired friend didn't get that memo, so will you please escort him out of here and let him know? Please, and thank you." The solders looked over at a moaning Destral who was leaning against a tome stone, the solders moved to grab him.
