Jesse jumped back, surprised at Lucifer's actions. She glanced at Link and his sword, then back to Teagan and Lucifer. She frowned. "Hitting people ruins the fun. It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt." She walked over to Destral. "You're not the only one who wishes to be adventuring. I spent most of my life wandering. If you don't have a home to stay at, then why place yourself in a more dangerous situation? The safest is to keep moving, lest enemies make themselves known." she pointed out. "Granted, there is a certain comfort of knowing the area, but it is always possible to be attacked, no matter where you're at." She smiled, trying to comfort Destral.

Brooke heard frantic yelling coming from the other room. She quickly put down what food she had in her hands, and made her way to the very entrance of the room everyone else was in. Everyone looks so tense... She thought. Anxious, she stared around the room, startled by Teagan's action toward Lucifer. Not wanting to look directly at anyone, Brooke looked down at the floor. She was shocked to find that Teagan wasn't afraid at all of Lucifer, for Brooke was because of his actions and appearance. She stared down at Teagan's feet, which were planted so solidly on the floor it looked as if they grew there. I didn't know she was so brave... She continued thinking. Then Jesse stood up and walked to Destral. Noticing this from the corner of her eye, Brooke perked up. A slight smile grew on her face as Jesse began to comfort Destral.

Destral clenched his teeth, but slowly relaxed. They shouldn't fight amongst themselves over a simple matter of opinion, its not like they couldn't trust Lucifer, right? "Alright, might as well get to sleep then. Get up bright and early tommorrow!"
Lucifer did not seem all to impressed, but he figured it would provide the possibility of gathering more of those Sub-Forces, along with finding his old strength... "Fine, but I shall stay up. I like to watch the night sky, no matter how many times I watched it...it always makes me think."

"The sun has not fully set, yet, Destral. We have a couple hours before nightfall. Let's get dinner, finalize any work we must do here, make sure we're prepared, and then we'll get some sleep." Link told him, slowly moving his hand back to his side. He didn't feel any danger in the room anymore. Teagan on the other hand was still rather angry. She was irked to the point of her getting annoyed simply with his presence. This she did not show, though, and pushed the thought away from her mind. Relaxing, she sighed and slumped back onto the couch. "Alright. You might wanna prepare a horse in the stables though, Lucifer, since you're coming with us."

"I will consume." Majora turned around one last time to survey the destruction he had made. Burnt trees, dead wildlife, tied up merchants...All on route leading from the Faron woods to Hyrule Field. Those suckers would have no idea! Provided none of them could sense Majora over long distances, that is. Still, there was a perfectly serviceable dungeon past the smog filled area of the Faron woods. A perfect natural defense.
He marched back to the Faron woods, by the time he reached the smog filled area, the the sun had fully set. His task of diverting the heroes had been completed precisely on time. Good. He had to start working on his minions though.
Through the purple smog, Majora could spot five corpses. Merchants, scavengers, or warriors who had ventured too close and subsequently died. The work of Natural selection, one would think. Majora was a bit surprised no one had built a bridge over the smog yet. Then again, nobody was supposed to have business at the Forest Temple.
Five tendrils shot out of the mask, each extending rapidly and finding a place inside each of the corpses. Black magic sizzled into the corpses, rotting away the flesh and leaving nothing but a skeleton. Shortly after, the newly created Stalfos stood up and clambered over to their master, wielding whatever weapon they had on them when they died. Two of them had nothing, one of them had a crossbow and the other two had swords. Good enough.
With five minions and a heap load of Dark magic to his name, Majora crossed over the purple smog by floating and his skeletal minions trudged behind him, un-phased by the smog. They were already dead, no lungs, no worry.
"...Consume, everything..."

Night snuck up on Ordon quickly, sending its dark cover upon the village. The group had successfully prepared six horses, including Epona and Savine. The necessary amounts of food were packed in bags attached to each horses' saddle. Teagan wiped the sweat off her brow with the back of her hand, dusting off her hands as well. The six of them were currently at the ranch, doing final preparations and last-minute checks. "Hoo! I think we're done, here." She glanced up at the moon, sitting proudly up in the night sky, casting its pale glow on trees, hills, everything. "Let's get to bed. Like I said, Brooke, you can stay with my parents. They're the hut with the bright green roof. It's near Robert's. You would get along fabulously with my mother. And don't worry, I had Harry tell them you were coming. "Destral, I'd like you to stay with Nikko and Reana. Penelope and Layla are staying with my other brothers. It'd be nice to know you were there with them. "Jesse, you can stay in my guest room if you want. And Lucifer... Hm. Where do you wanna stay?" "He can stay with me." Link suggested. I can keep an eye on him that way... "Wonderful!" She clasped her hands together. "We're heading out real early when it's still dark, so be prepared to be rudely awakened." Teagan laughed lightly. "Sound like a plan guys?"

"Sounds nice to me." Brooke said smiling, as she finished helping to get prepared for their long trip. She turned toward the green topped house down where Teagan had pointed out. Tiredly, she slowly made her way down to the house. "Better get my sleep now if i want to get up early." She said to herself, slightly smiling as she stepped through and closed the front door.

Lucifer nodded, seeming to be satisfied with the arrangement. "That sounds perfect. I am sure me and you will get along just fine... But I must tell you, my body is quite frail right now." He turned to Link and awaited to be guided. He nodded to Link, still not revealing his face.
"Alright, see you guys in the morning." He ran towards the house Nikko and Reana were in, quickly knocking on the door and waiting impatiently to be let in.

"I'm sure we will as well. Goodnight Teagan, Jesse." Link nodded to the both of them and began heading down the hill, following the path to his home. "Frail, you say?" He asked as they walked. "What do you mean?"
"Guess that leaves you and me, Jesse. C'mon, let's go." Teagan put her hands on her hips and surveyed the area one last time before the two went down the hill as well. She began to make conversation on their way back. "I must warn you, Jesse... My house is extremely cluttered. I mean, the floor's clean and stuff, but my walls are just... Well, you can't even see them."
A young girl of 13 approached Brooke. She was short, and extremely thin. Her appearance was very identical to Teagan's, but her skin was as pale as a ghost, with freckles all over her body as opposed to just her nose and tops of her arms like her sister's. Their hair texture and color were the same, wavy and curly. This girl's was cropped short, though, barely reaching her shoulders. She wore a baggy, tan, v-necked t-shirt, with small circles lining the edges of the sleeves, along with a light brown skirt adorned with little round beads at the hem. "Mother, Brooke's here!" The girl called down the hallway before turning to the guest and holding her hand out for Brooke to shake. "Hi! I was told you'd be staying with us. I'm Mary, Teagan's younger sister. My mother will be out shortly, she prepared dinner. I know it's a little late but... Well, it's only 9:00. Not too bad." She smiled. "My big brother Henry came by and told us you were staying here, because Teagan apparently told him you were. So we waited for you to arrive before we ate."
The door opened slightly for Destral. An eye peeked out from the small opening, and then it swung open all the way, Nikko standing there. "I recognize you. You were there when that awful mask attacked. What's up?" He was not informed of Destral staying there yet. Nikko wouldn't mind it, though. In fact, he'd feel a bit safer that way.

Destral smiled, but waited to be actually welcomed in. "Hey, I'm here to keep your house protected for the night. In case ummm Rob comes back..." He tried not to be so blunt this time.
"You know what I mean. I'm not quite used to this...'gravity' and 'friction' here. Makes things a bit harder for me. Alright?" Lucifer sounded a bit annoyed that he was admitting a weakness.

Brooke smiled shyly as Mary spoke to her. "Wow, thank you for making dinner for me." She continued, "And thank you so much for letting me stay here." She walked in with Mary and took a seat in the dinning room. Continuous thoughts of making a nice comment about their house ran across Brooke's mind, but she also thought about how dumb she would look if she said anything, her being so shy and all. Seconds later, she finally built up the courage to do so. "Wow, this place is really nice." Brooke complimented, soaking and savoring every color and detail around the room.

Nikko nodded, grateful, then spoke in a hushed tone. "Alright, come on in. Uh, sorry we're not prepared for another guest... But the extra help is needed. Rob's wife Reana's asleep. She needs it right now. Come in quietly." He led Destral inside. "You can take one of the couches, if you want to sleep. There's blankets in the cabinet here, feel free to take as many as you need." A tall cupboard stood tall Nikko. He patted the side of it, then yawned. "I'm going to head off to bed. Anything you need, food, water, etc, go ahead and take." Heading up the stairs, he stopped in the middle and turned to him, smiling slightly. "Thank you, by the way." He whispered, then disappeared from view behind the stairs.
"You're not used to gravity." Link repeated. "Sorry to prod, but how?"
"Don't thank me, thank my mom." Mary giggled as she followed behind Brooke. "And thanks! Teagan did a lot of the artwork." She walked over to a tall and narrow painting of a woman dressed in green leaves. Her long hair tumbled down her shoulders, a crown of daisies circling her head. She was looking and smiling downward. A lush forest was in the background. Tall trees were strongly rooted to the ground with their thick trunks. A small waterfall was off in the distance, its lifelike blue waters falling into a small glowing pool below. Overall it was a piece teeming with life. Mary grinned. "This one's my favorite by her."

"Wow. That one's actually amazing!" Brooke said in astonishment studying the picture as if it were a book. "I've never seen such fantastic artwork around here!" Brooke rose from her chair and walked in front of the picture, still studying it. "It's so beautiful." In some odd way, the more seconds that passed, the more comfortable Brooke felt to be herself.

Every hundred years….
Up ahead of where Majora was heading, Ganondorf stood with his back against a tree off to the side, unharmed by the smog. His body was far too powerful to be effected by such weak substances. What caught his interest was the amount of destruction caused by this being, what appeared to be a floating mask, teeming with dark magic. This thing was almost powerful enough to serve him. However, its energy was far too erratic, too unrefined. Not to mention, its behavior seemed almost childish. It was playing games with those whom would call themselves heroes. He loathed the lot of them.
Still, he found himself slightly amused by this creature. that is, unless he was confusing amusement for general disgust. There was no hope for manipulating such a being who lacks any real motivation. It would be an incompetent servant, no matter how Ganondorf tried to manipulate it. Of this he was sure, and he realized that this being was causing destruction out of no end. It had no real goals, this thing. A mask, harboring a surplus of dark energy, destroying only for the purpose of destruction. Ganondorf had heard of this, believing its name to be Majora. He was right, but this did not matter to him. This creature was nothing more than a trouble maker. If Ganondorf failed to keep a close eye on this thing, it very well could destroy the sub-forces which he sought to posses for himself. The only other option would be to offer a mutual trust between them, in order to keep a closer eye on the destruction it was causing.
Finally, Ganondorf pushed away from the burnt remnants of the tree he’d been leaning against. He walked out into the open where Majora could see him, a stiff grin on his face. Only, when he saw the hooded figure standing not thirty feet from him, he stopped. He had not expected this. He had been following Majora by his energy. His grin shrank into a sour smirk as he witnessed such a method of possesion. Ganondorf himself was not above minions, as he saw this one had already begun to raise. However, his methods of control were more on the side of fear and manipulation, not to waste an ounce of his own power on a single blink by a follower, alive or otherwise. Majora's methods of control were cowardly in his eyes. Instead, Ganondorf used cowardice as a weapon against those who dwelled upon it.
Nonetheless, he had his reasons for approaching the being, whatever form it was currently in. He stood his ground, waiting for the masked figure to acknowledge him. As he waited, he imagined himself ripping the mask from the body, taking it between his hands and snapping it in half. For now, however, he would simply watch and wait as he continued his mission to track down those who actually carried the sub-force pieces.
…. A new king is born.
