People say the polar bears got there because Walt and his "pwers" were reading that comic book with the polar bear on them.
Well if this is true, then the sharks will have gotten there the same reason.

I got my Rolling Stones magizine in the mail yesteday. It gave spoilers:
There are more survivors
Lost will have three new cast members this season, including Michelle Rodrigues as a survivor from the tail section of the airplane; when it crashed they wound up, um, on another part of the island. Choosing his words carefully, Lindelof says, "It would be interesting to say, "Here's fourty-eight people who survived the crash and lived in a peaceful little hippie commune where decisions are made by a select few and everyone else is provided for." It might be interesting to see what would happen if there was a much smaller group that waa forced to adapt in a much more militaristic fashion, and how the leader of that group might clash with the leadership of our croup were they to merge. Theoretically."

The 3 new people are Ana-Lucia (Michelle Rodriguez), Nigerian fellow (Eko), and Cynthia Watros (Libby). I'm thinking that Desmond will either not last past the start of the season, or will go the way of Danielle (ie. appear only several times a season).
I'm hearing that a male castmember will NOT be leaving the show for good now. Apparently that was when they were considering ridding the island of MDK because of the whole Walt thing, but it's all good now. Though, it could still refer to the whole "Shannon will die and Boone can thusly never be seen again" theory.
