Namine, without even glancing at him, replied, "I-I-I don't know. All I remember is being in a tree. And then I wake up here. And you were there," she pointed to the floor, "And you were, like, dead...a-a-and I panicked..." She stopped for a moment to take in a breath. "...I-I was just making sure you were okay." For a moment, she believed all of that just sounded like gibberish. Namine gestured to her shoulder, rubbing it gently; a hint to him. "...Y-You should really check to see if it's okay..."

::Kallman glanced at his right shoulder and sure enough there was a swellow bug bite. Now he understood the bugs had got him while he was out saving Namine.:: "Okay, thanks for saving my life. I think you deserve a meal now. That is if you can look at me." ::He laughed, still doesn't have a shirt on.;:

Nemine let out a very calm sigh, a contrast to her previous behavior. That didn't mean that she was calmed so quickly. Her ear twitched a little as she allowed herself to glance at him now. "....Thanks," Namine managed to reply softly.

Namine just nodded in reply. As he left, she relaxed more. Still, it was just strange that all this happened. How on earth had she gotten here? Magic? And for him to say, 'Thanks for saving me. Have some food,' only adding the growing awkwardness. Namine wasn't about to give up a free meal, but it took a lot to overlook the weird events precursoring it.

::Kallman looked at the cooler. Yes it was time. He took out the two steaks he had saved and cooked them up in an instant. The smell filled the entire treehouse. Kallman got out two plates and put a steak on each one. Dragging out his table he decorated it with cloth. Didn't want to look like a bum. He then lit a candle to fill the treehouse with a reassuring scent instead of the swamplike smell.:: "It's ready."

Much like a mouse, Namine approached with curiousity. She hadn't expected a meal like that either. Her tail swished back and forth like a calm wagging motion. She eventually approached the table. "It looks really good," Namine said in a slight childish tone.

Without much thought, Namine found herself sitting like he insisted. Her mind was wrapped around the "something special" part. And Namine just couldn't really grasp how he considered all this to be "something special". Hell, she was still confused on how she ended up here.

::Kallman sat down across from her:: "Now as to why your here. I sensed your scent and knew it was dark. You must have forgotten about the poisonous bugs. You were almost bitten, but instead they bite me and as the result you ended up here. This is my way of thanking you for saving my life, one day I will repay the favor."

Namine ate at least half of hers before replying. "Yeah. It's not the most glamourous job in the world, but I got hired to get watersnakes. Seventy-five gold if I can bring back fifteen of them." She resumed munching away at the steak. Once she took a bite, Namine was pleased she had a good meal.

"Snakes, hmm there are a lot of them in the.." ::Suddenly realized he almost gave away his sercet swimming spot.:: "I could get 15 snakes for you easily."

"Oh, no no...I couldn't ask that of you. You've already made me food. I can just as well find them on my own. After all, what's getting a job worth if you don't do it, right?" Namine smiled at Kallman, then snatched up the last piece of her steak. She hadn't realized how hungry she was.
