はじめまして、ヴァニ ラです! name: Vanilla, or Vani age: 19 occupation: I am a student right now, no particular job, but I really need one D: I love japanese fashions, but most of all lolita! I really like kurorori or black and white rori ( don't think I'm dark enough for 'gosurori'), and I really love dresses like this! I like Bodyline a lot ^_^;; Anyway, I'm new to gaia (like, brand new) and pretty new to GL so I thought I'd join to see what I can see and learn what I can learn! どうぞよろしく! By the way, I'm studying Japanese, as well as some other languages.

I have been interested in, and following lolita fashion and culture for many years now. I'm not particularly active in any of the communities, but that doesn't mean I don't read them.
My interests include military history, design, art, Asian ball-jointed dolls, fashion, food, music and other cultures. I am most active in the abjd community, though chances are none of you have heard of me. ;p
My lolita wardrobe is fairly limited, due to both financial restraints and how particular I am about my clothing, no matter the style. If it is not cut in a way that is pleasing to my eye and flattering to my figure, why wear it?
I have a very simple style, usually gothic, not-so-grandma's-couch-upholstry classic, and for everyday wear, casual.
My favourite brands are Moi Meme Moitié and Juliette et Justine. I believe these companies create garments that are both elegant and functional, and very flattering.

Intersts: Reading, Anime, Manga, Cosplaying, Lolita Fashion (duh!), Fashion in general, Role Playing, Taking picutres (mainly of myself >.>)
Other: No idea what my major is going to be or really what I want to do in life at all. I'm very indesisive. I have an obsessive personality but so far I've been obsessed with Lolita for a good chunk of time. It has all the elements of clothing I like. Not revealing, lacy, foofy, pretty, reminder of the fact that everything can be beautiful.
I'm learning how to sew slowly and I'm going o make my first cosplay costume ever next week so I hope I can do it without making too many mistakes! I love dressing up in costume. People say I look somewhat younger than I am, also like a kitty.
I'm really excited to be a part of this guild and hope to learn even more than I have already ^_^

It's nothin much yet. We decided we weren't going to take the Tokyopop offer though. After coming to the conclusion that after three issues into a manga, they turn into a waste of paper. ^_^ So we are still quite the independent company. @ Pearl. It's okay. I have been so busy lately. So I don't always get online anyways. I have to do alot of work around the church and school. So I can't always work and talk like I used to.
