Add a banner slide show to the guild that changes every three to four minutes. Have six or seven banners at first, and add one each month.

I don't know if this has been suggested before but why not add a booty grab thread?
I've made up to 40,000g in a day just from playing that game (I was very bored that day). If you invite people with good tanks with a lot of high yield fish and have them post in one thread then the tanks will all be there in one place for members of the guild to browse through and get rich off of.
Let me know if you're interested, I could suggest names of people with really good tanks.

Perhaps a Purgatory subforum where the fates of fugitives are decided? The title of the threads would contain the username of the aggressor, and their charges would be listed in the subject tabs. Above information would be repeated in the original post, along with anything else worth noting about the person. I can't take time reading back through the pages to see if this has been suggested already, but if my idea is original, someone higher-up could PM me if they want to know anything else I might have in mind for Purgatory (or whatever name seems more fitting).

i second the idea of purgatory it could almost be like a debate on what the punishment should be for crimes or a courtroom rp

Maybe assign an older member to a newbie, to give the newbie a more personal welcome, and guide them through the different areas?
I know there are rules, and things are laid it in a really easy to figure out way, but it would be a good way to get the new and old to meet and mingle.
And also, is there a main 'talk' thread, where everyone can just talk about random things and such and become better friends? :3

I would just like to say that I really LOVE the idea of a bootygrab thread. It is an amazingly easy way to make money and it would certainly help out the newer members of Gaia. wink
Oh, and since I am a BOOK nerd, I would like to suggest a Book Club. xp

Maybe we should add a welcome sub forum were new members may in a way "welcome" themselves in the guild and feel "apart of it". Maybe you already have it, I might have skimed over is ^___^;;
