The boy goes into the cave, thinking just the opposite... that the rain might feel pretty good after all, but he doesn't say anything, just looks for a chance to get outside so he can wade in the stream.

*Kero flicks his mind out*
Pasa, it's coming down too hard...I don't want you out in there, okay. Plus, I have a feeling it will hail.

The boy pouts but gives in, then suddenly he stops in his tracks. "How did you know what I was thinking?" he demands with a frown.

*Kero looks at him*
Don't have to....you're lurking near the entrance, every so often glancing out into the storm...I'm not Voidmaster for nothing, Pasa. I won't invade your mind, don't worry.

The boy sighs with relief. "I'm sorry I doubted you, mes'sirrah... but I would understand if you do not trust me right now."

*Kero looks at him*
It's not that I don't trust you, Pasa...far from it...I simply know children, and don't want you out in that rain. In fact, simply to ensure you don't break the trust I'm putting in you, you should know that if you go out, you'll get a repeat of this morning's solo performance. Okay?

The boy's eyes widen. "But it's only rain... how can that hurt me? And it isn't even coming down that hard."
**Hmmm... wonder what he'd call a monsoon...**

*Kero nods, and sends him an image of the rain also having balls of ice inside, bouncing off of him, and hurting him badly*
It's called hail, and I know I felt some. Don't go out there, Pasa. I'm not kidding about the encore.

The boy grumbles about over protective parents and slouches his way into the sitting room of the angels' cavern, where he plops d own on an overstuffed pillow and begins figgeting immediately.
Tam laughs. "Egads! Kerobian! He's an honest to goodness boy... look at him... sulking like a pro."
Passura sticks his tongue out at him and laughs ruefully. "Have I really been that much of a priss?"

*Kero laughs, simply at the situation*
No, No....and don't say I'm overprotective, or I'll let you go out in there, and you can find out for yourself how badly it hurts.
**G2G...back on when I can**

The boy laughs softly and shakes his head. "That's what the other kids used to call me... that and Mr. Goody Two SHoes."

Passura frowns. "It's just that we have storms like that at home all the time... not the funny pieces of ice though... but hard hard rain. And no one thinks of it as a reason to stay inside."

Pasa looks at the small piece of ice and shakes his head. "No, mes'sirrah... they do not, though sometimes it rains frogs."
