tam sighs and pulls him close... angry?... of course i was angry... i was angry at the world in general... angry at them... angry at the boys for pulling yer tail and getting us in that mess... heck i was even angry at missing me bath... but angry at ye.... no... though i will admit, kerobian... and i have said it already... i was disappointed... ye need to curb yer instincts when we're in civilized places... it's a hard fact of life... but in many peoples' eyes yer a dangerous beast... to most of them ye belong behind the bars of a cage, not roaming loose... it is not how i feel... and don't ye ever forget that... but to most people we meet, lions are ravenous, slaveirng beasties... who'd rather eat them than entertain them... and when ye have claw that can cut through steel like it was butter... small boys' legs don't stand a chance... he sighs and buries his face in kerobian's fur... do ye want to go someplace where there is no people....

May I ask why you're sitting in this cave when the inn in town is open tonight...Talesian...these townsfolk don't recognize Kero as a lion, but as a large housecat....and the boy's mothers are already telling them to deal with the scratches...because that's what happens when you pull a cat's tail...just don't advertise that Kero's claws can cut through steel, and you'll be good.

tam sighs... i have an idea fer yer claws... iffin ye wear them of course... rubber tips... ye'd only have to wear them in towns and around people who don't know ye... ye think that would help?

tam chuckles... i should hire ye out... oh don't look at me so hard... i'm only kidding... ok... now which way in the town... i wasn't looking when i ran... just picked ye up and took to the hills.... he stares at the forest about them and sighs... ok ... how about using that fantastic nose of yers to get us out of here... can ye smell any wood smoke? or the stench of man?
