"Whelp. Word gets around I guess." commented the counterpart, "...How about we get out of here..." "Y-Yeah it's power. It's unstable." warned Arron, "You want to see th-that again here in the arena? With everyone here? Then don't. Touch. Me." He was calculating the distance & possible chance at grabbing one of the pawn's swords.

"Go ahead. That will be a nice distraction for your little friend, and he'll be killed in an instant by our king." the rook responded, glaring at Arron. "And with an arena full of black kingdom soldiers, you won't be an issue for long. There are enough bishops here to keep you frozen in place for years." One of the rooks noticed Arron going for her sword, but the other did not, and hers was free game.

Managing to grab a weapon he pulled it from its scabbard & lunged at the rook. This was most likely a very stupid move, but Arron was not about to go willingly.

The rook raised his dagger, shattering both in the process. The blade pieces scattered across the floor, then the three warriors all leapt at Arron at once, trying their hardest to wrestle him to the ground. It wasn't an ideal place for what the man had planned, but he was willing to compromise.

Arron was quickly subdued & was left trying to breath from the combined weight of the trio. He was angry, & felt powerless. All he wanted was to leave the kingdom with his friend in one piece. It appeared he was not going to ever get that wish. The rook received the nastiest glare, the young man could muster at that time.

"You're dangerous, that's why we have to eliminate you, kid." the rook declared, glaring right back down at him. "Once your friend loses, I know what you'll do. You'll unleash that power from before, and try to get him out of here. Well, we're going to make you both honour this little bargain you've made with our king." The two pawns each held down Arron's legs, one for each of them, and they looked expectantly at the rook, who was given another blade. "As soon as his battle is over, your life is over."

"I can't get us out of here Boyo unless they come for the ride!" he heard the counterpart say. "I-I t-told you. Y-You try to hurt me b-badly. It'll be un-unleashed re-regardless of me-me living or not. It's THAT un-unstable. D-Damn it... L-Look y-you want to kill me s-so b-badly? Th-There's a-a vial in-in my things in-in the dungeons. It-It's my f-fail safe... It-It will k-kill me without un-unleashing my-my power." Arron replied to the rook. He hoped that the man would believe him. "Good thinking on the medicine."

"I don't trust you, boy." the rook stated plainly, then he motioned for one of the two pawns with his head. "Go get the kid's things and bring them back here. It shouldn't be long now. Looks like his knightly friend is about to lose, so be quick about it." he explained before taking off his belt and using it to bind Arron's hands behind his back. After he was sure the bindings were secure, he sat Arron up. "While we're waiting, you can watch your friend lose."Talbot was on his back in the middle of the arena, with blood on his left arm and cuts all over his armour. He looked like he wasn't going to last, and yet, he pulled himself to his feet. The King didn't have a grin on his face. Instead, he seemed surprised. Nothing he did would break Talbot's spirit. He'd thrashed him and knocked him to the ground so many times without even getting dirt on his own armour, and yet, the white knight stood yet again.

"...Why? Why kill me?" asked Arron, "I-I'm an outsider. All I-I want to is to back to my workshop & st-stay there. I-I'm here only supporting my friend." Arron sounded tired.

"I already explained myself. I know what you'll do when your friend loses. You'll try to save him. Or if he dies, you'll lose it and attack the kingdom and our King and Queen. If I kill you, the kingdom will be protected." the rook explained, sounding annoyed. His eyes were trained on the battle.Talbot swiped at the King with his sword. His footwork was dragging and sloppy due to the state of his body, but he fought on, even managing to block an attack and stay standing.

The mechanic glanced down. "...Have no choice then..." he said quietly, "...Get us out of here Lyth." "...Alright." he heard Lyth say before the counterpart took over. Lyth started to laugh, & his voice had changed, but Arron's body had not crystallized yet. "Oh man... You were right... Don't trust Boyo." he said to the Rook & pawn.

The rook focused his attention on Arron again, and the moment he heard the change in his voice, he reached for the blade the pawn had given him. "Then you die here and now. No more waiting." he held tight to Arron's bound wrists and pulled the sword around, ready to slash Arron's throat.

"Not so fast... How about we go for a ride? I saw a nice stable not far from here that's full of crap. Let's go." he said disintegrating. Due to the fact that the rook & pawn where touching the counterpart, they would most likely be taken along for the ride.

Indeed, the two were taken along for the ride, and the shock of it sent the pawn letting go and jumping back on reflex, though the rook didn't let go of his grasp on his captive. His grip was more loose, however, due to the surprise of what had just occurred.

The counterpart kept good on his word & reappeared at a horse's stable not far from the arena. He was floating so they were a few feet above the manure pile. "Oh it's about ta get hot in here~!" he said allowing more energy to heat up the leather that was used to bind his hands. He was hoping the man would let go & fall into the nasty pile.
