 So you sit home alone,
'Cause there's nothing left that you can do.
There's only pictures hung in the shadows,
Left there to look at you.══════════════════════════════════════════[My whiskers twitched in annoyance at Silverstar's attitude. I held his tongue though, padding back toward the entrance.] "Let's go," I meowed to the others, padding out of camp. [I was tired and agravated. Why were apprentices so annoying?]
Oh, stop it. We were an apprentice at one time, I said to myself. [My eyes softened once more, feeling different once again. I felt different. Happy. Totally different from how I had felt earlier. Night's sharp, angry self receded once more, leaving only my normal self. I smiled happily, looking at Silverstar.] "Do you want to lead, or..." My voice trailed off. [I had figured that since she was leader, she had priority over a warrior like me.]
[ooc:]@KIttysong: Hmm....I'm not sure. It takes getting used to, though. I like it though, it shows changes in Cinderstreak's split personality a lot better.......

or is Cinderstreak leading? [she thought] eh, i'll find out

yeah it does, that whole split personality, is cool though.

 Softpaw''Live in the present, let go of the past..''______________ [Softpaw followed Cinderstreak, Skywhisker, and Sliverstar. She was worried for Dappleheart.]
I hope Hawkblaze comes back safely, with Cloverkit!
[Softpaw then scented a mouse. She stopped.]
''Where shall we meet? I want to start hunting..''

  Is honesty so hard to achieve?
Is trust so hard to earn?══════════════════════════════════════════ [Silverstar blinked at Cinderstreak, confusion showing slightly in her eyes. Her tail tip twitched with annoyance, both at the apprentice and the impatient Cinderstreak, but showed no signs of it.]
"Go ahead, Cinderstreak. I'll catch up," the leader meowed, hen turned to Whisperpaw. "And would you have been helping if something happened to you, like a badger of a fox getting to you? Rules are set in place for a reason. You will not leave camp without a warrior, preferable your mentor. And that's final," Silverstar ordered, flicking her tail with finalization as she turned from the apprentice and leapt to her feet.
[Silverstar bounded out of camp, following the patrol's scent trail. She stopped dead in her tracks when she scented something new, sort of like a badger, but..off. She narrowed her eyes, twitching her whiskers. She made a mental note to bring Cindermon out here with her and investigate, and to have a patrol hunt down this badger and chase it off. Silverstar turned and plunged through the ferns, catching up with the patrol.] ══════════════════════════════════════════Nobility, faith, bravery, loyalty...
All makings of a true warrior.

 L U S T E R K I T- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -[Lusterkit's ears perked up excitedly as his mother and father came up to him and praised him lavishly. Very gently, he set the stag beetle down onto the ground, watching it intently. By now, the beetle had already given up all means of escape, and was now laying in the ground still as a rock. Lusterkit raised one paw to pat it gingerly on its back, but it did not move.]
"You're going to be my new pet! I'll name you...Leaf!"
[Lusterkit exclaimed happily, remembering how he found his pet stag beetle on a leaf.]

[Brightspirit was hunting close to camp when she overheard Silverstar talking to Whisperpaw. She bounded up to her leader]
"I'm sorry, Silverstar. She saw Hawkblaze and just ran. I-I didn't realize.."
[She dipped her head apollogectially and bounded into camp, walking up to Whisperpaw, a stern look on her face]
"Whisperpaw. You were supposed to stay with me, not go running off after a warrior that already had cats looking out for him! Do you know what couldn't happened to you? You know what? Stay here, don't move. I have to go and get the twins and finish up their hunting. Do not leave the camp" she meowed sternly.
[Brightspirit sighed and ran out of the camp, going towards the direction of the twins]
"Cedarpaw, Oakpaw!! Finish up your hunting. We're going to head back now!" Brightspirit called.
[She retrieved her catches and sat down to wait]

down on her precious kit, eyes gleaming with amusement and
pride.] "That's a great name Lusterkit, be sure you keep him
in a safe spot!" Dawnthistle purred, giving her kit a few
swift licks to the ear. [Dawnthistle looked at her slowly swelling
belly, she was going to have kits in a couple moons or so.]
((Dawnthistle will have kits soon after Lusterkit is apprenticed
c smile ) "Lusterkit, have you eaten yet, you should be
apprenticed any time now." Dawnthistle meowed softly. ~-------------------------~ Dawn brings beauty to the world...Night brings horror and suffering...

[Whisperpaw flicked her tail, why did they care so much? If they lost her it would have just been an apprentice. It didn't make sense to her, as she began to pace back and forth across the Clearing, finally heading to the Apprentice's den and laying down, to eat the small bird of which she had caught.]

I sighed, looking back at the apprentice.] "We will meet up ahead, by that big tree," I meowed, flicking my tail toward a small oak tree nearby. I nodded to the rest of the patrol, and then to Silverstar as she caught up with us.] "Silverstar, we're going to meet by that small oak," I meowed, padding off to hunt.
