Pasa, may I come in?

*Kero moves over to him*
Hey...are you okay....I'm sorry. I forgot to oil-proof your room, I was so focused on your surprise...hold on...*Flares his power out, making the items in there, except for Pasa, repel oil*...there...now you can do what you want, okay?

The boy looks at him and sighs. "It's ok... I... I always feel funny when this happens, though I don't remember it happening very much. But I thank you."

Do want you want, okay...just leave the gem alone. Take a nap...you look worn out.

The boy thanks him again and remakes his bed, collapsing on it with a tired yawn. "I might do just that, mes'sirrah, thank you."

Which is probably good for his body is growing, almost visibly growing, not much... maybe no more than an inch or so, but that is a lot for one small body to assimilate.

Passura sleeps until almost dinner time, waking up starving. He finds a robe and wraps it about him and wanders into the kitchen looking for something to eat.

*Kero is there, a bowl of hearty stew in one hand, and a slice of bread in the other*
Eat, kiddo...and you'll need new clothes...or...*Walks into his room, and then out again*...there we go...modified to your new size. And I have something for you as well.

*Kero hands him a small necklace, inset with the same blue stone*
This is a Waterguard amulet, Pasa....it will protect you from Water, and the creatures that dwell in it.

"Protect me how, mes'sirrah?" asks Passura examining the stone and it's setting. He doesn't seem that enthusiastic about it, but right now, he doesn't seem that enthusiastic about anything. It is probably a side effect of the growing process. His people do grow slightly all the time, like humans, but they also do spurts at certain times in their life, such as when the food supply is plentiful, which is probably why he's undergoing one now.

*Kero smiles*
Water will recognize you as a friend, and will repel those who would do you harm by way of the Water. You will not be able to drown, nor will any creature of the water, be it snake, shark, or alligator, will be able to touch you, nor will it wish to. That is what Waterguard does, Pasa...earth, air, and fire do the same.
