Aww, someone needs a hug~ Nothing stupid about that. It's a part of Maslow's hierarchy of needs, so it's important. And at least you've probably been in one. I gotta go in there with no experience. xD But you'll surely find someone! Someone'll see that vanity as hot or even sexy.

Better to look on the negative side and be prepared than to be blindsided.
See, I dont take much of that psycho babel to heart. Some of them do have good points, but there are so many holes that they cant be right either. Now, if you smooshed them into one super theory.... that would be different. xD
Friendships, yes. Dating... not really. My only 'dating' was just another friendship to me. Only thing that really changed was the 'titles'.
If I had someone to tell me Im pretty, I wouldnt need to tell it to myself, so there would be no need for my vanity. xD
Better. And least now I dont feel sick any more from it. xD

I still consider dating into one of those social needs. It's supposed to be significant because of the intimacy. You make it sound like nothing. xD

Maybe cause Im not one of those overly emotional/dependent types? I dont need someone hanging on me 24/7 to know Im loved. A little attention every so often doesnt hurt either. =3
Donno about the sweet part.... But given the right situation I will admit I would be a lot happier.

It happens.
Will let you know when I experience something to make me think otherwise. Like I said, only been in one 'dating' relationship, and to me it was nothing but a title.
