I'm not sure I get it, but it reminds me of the sun-worshiping Aztecs and their rituals (which often involved dressing, painting, or sexing up a young woman and then killing her.) So, I like it in a really abstract way, but since this is likely not what you were going for, I'd instead say that the items look like a set, which is hard to do with separates. I'd have shown more skin with the Fremere draped over your actual body, but that's just me.
Overall, it's well done, though my eyes are drawn down your body to your feet right away... that may just be me. The only thing that bugs me is that the spear is a different shade of gold... looks more bronze to me. I'd have used an "aura" or "decoration" item instead, to keep the yellow/gold to three items and to create more visual pull.

Roland! Lol It's Firewing btw. And your avvy strikes me as very Prince Charming for some reason. Maybe it's the cape and the armor. I love it. The hair color adds a nice twist to a classic theme.

I like your color use, but the mark on the face kind of detracts from the effectiveness - that's just not my taste. I find that with mostly monochromatic avatars, you need lots of detail or texture to keep it interesting. Otherwise it all runs together.
I suppose it suits the character, but I would try to add more points of interest.

I like that the colours all match, and the facial expression cracked me up. Could use a smidge more blue up top, but that's just me being uber-picky.
