So... if I read this right, taking a low number first and slowly increasing on that makes for a better outcome in the long run for Seichero and Zanzen's performance.

Yes. But it's the average of both of your rolls combined. If the average comes out to a fraction, round up.

Yeah. Do you take low and expect your partner to roll high or do you take high and hope that your partner can afford to bring down the average to keep the TN reasonable?

Well, for the first roll, I think us both taking the lowest will be the best way to go.

I would like to apologize for anything I said last night which may of upset those whom are concerned. I did get carried away. I will not try to make any excuses but at some point I would like to say sleep deprivation did contribute itself to my actions.
Though now that I am thinking more clearly to conclude a point which came up last night. If a peasant killed an oni he better be someone important or it would mean the whole of the samurai caste admitting that they're not needed when peasants can defeat oni.
