Pasa chuckles. "I won't tell him if you don't, but I think he already knows." He goes to the cool box and pulls out some lettuce and other veggies, then begins to make a large salad. "But he is right, mes'sirrah. Too much fat and protein can make for a bad heart. The wiseman was always scolding the headman of our village because he was much like you."

"I thought Ma and Da fixed it so you had a true body once again." comes a familiar voice from the door. "That is what Da said during this last visit of his. What happened?" A large white lioness walks into the kitchen carrying a basket of freshly harvested basil.

I think you misunderstood. I am alive again, but no Voidmage has a true body....this isn't my real shape, remember, Damasira? Voidmages are dust, naught more. Now, I am alive again, which means whatever shape I take will live, but I am still dust. It's when I become Ash that we're in trouble...now, as for veggies, Pasa, I like most vegetables that aren't green, but since when did you see a dragon of my breeding eating green things? Green animals do not count either.

"Actually some dragons do eat vegetables, not all eat meat or live solely on it." laughs Tam gently. "But I won't push the matter. Pasa though needs to eat his greens, as he and I have both come to call them. And just because we call them green doesn't mean they are. It is just a shortening of the green growing thing he wanted to call them."
Passura smiles. "I am still unused to this spoken language you have given me, mes'sirrah. When one speaks to the mind, somethings need no further definition than the thought which is scent. An apple means one tiny round fruit to you, but if I sent the concept to you like this..." and he sends his concept of apple to Kero, complete with the crunch of the bite, the sweet thin juice and tang of it's taste, not to mention the specific color of the fruit in question... all in a simple burst of thought. "Talking mind to mind is both simpler and more complicated than one might believe." he says with a shy grin.
