He covered his body with lightning armor that would protect him from the surge of lightning but then he would also release a blast of chakra from his fist at the bolt of lightning that threatened the Floodgate. The chakra force that could break through boulders would clash with the lightning and cancel it out. The chakra force would continue its trajectory upward into the sky where it would not harm anyone. Kenshin would now quickly leave the area to continue the mission.

While he had visited the country a few times in his tours as Daimyo, it had been some time since he spoke with any of the combined forces that resided here in Arashigakure. He even contemplated getting a house out here, it was a very pretty country after all. Royal guards in toe he approached the gate in typical Shiro style. Hands in pockets cigarette between his lips. It seemed two very very weird individuals had been placed on guard duty alongside standard shinobi forces. Motioning for one of the normal guards he extended his identification papers between two fingers. "If you would, inform the Arashikage's that the Lightning Shadow is here to see them." Motioning to his guards he politely ordered them to also present their identification and documentation for inspection.

What one requests is not what one always gets the guard in which was waived over simply nodded without so much as looking at the documentation. It was now that the first shinobi that vanished returned bowing to Shiro and his entourage. "The Arashikage has permitted your entry." ..LL ENTER!"UNCONTESTED!" The two sentai then dispersed in a just as flashy exit involving red and white smoke as they both stood atop the gate entryway as it opened.

While the shinobi left to attend his request, the two in exceptionally tight clothing made their words and feelings known. Giving them a smile he relaxed visibly,"Ah but you see, lightning does cast a shadow. Well natural lightning anyway. In the light it releases which lasts but an instant as does its shadow. All that gives off light, can give off a shadow." Though when the shinobi returned and presented his bow, Shiro returned the gesture in kind. As did the rest of his entourage upon seeing him bow. With nothing more he entered the city and headed for the tower.

Kameyo went against her instincts to protect her chakra signature with jutsu. As a sensor-nin, she understood just how important it was to detect someone, especially as a way of defense. She had never visited a village in her life and since her friends had talked about sight seeing sometime soon, she couldn't hold off much longer and went ahead of them. She was excited to interact with people that were neither killers nor lifelong friends of hers, since Gimangakure seemed to only offer that dichotomy. tab The effortlessly jogging (soft "j" in this instance) form of Taketori Kaguya would be visible running down the road a few miles away. It was casual. So casual it looked out of place. A 6'9" man ostensibly either without a face or wearing a mask that made him appear to not have a face just running down the road. His silver-hair streamed, tied in a warrior's ponytail, streamed behind him. It wasn't even a proper ninja run, it was just a full upright jog (soft "j").
Well if no one stopped him he'd simply jog (soft) his way up to Kameyo before coming to a stop next to her. He stared up at the really big gates with guards. What happened next? Taketori knew about as much as Kameyo did. He had spent the previous five or so years back home among his hidden tribe, and by hidden he truly meant hidden none of this "we're a hidden village but here's a gate you can see for miles" business, and the time before that when he wanted to visit a village it was, uh, destroyed. That was a little inconvenient. As he waited for something to happen, unsure of the proper customs and etiquette of the land, he took out a few strips some meat. Moving aside his mask briefly to chew on one strip, he offered some to Kameyo.
"Smoked river salmon. It's good for your heart." The tall man said helpfully, tactfully leaving out a plural.

There was only one gate guard, his brother having vanished Thundering Red remained as the watchful eye. Among other members of the security force that patrolled it with more stalwart vigilance. Mr.Bones right after he so harshly criticized the 'hidden' part of the village would discover that now the village would be immersed in rolling clouds. It was purely out of the chance that the now flying village was seen below due to a brief lack of cloud density. The land of storms with its thick clouds, for the most part, did indeed keep this village hidden. That was when something all the more curious would occur. Happenings in a Kage office would suddenly start causing the surrounding clouds to grow even denser. Then what would appear to be a collection of clouds multiplying? The former white fluffy clouds were gone and replaced with blackened ones. The clouds then thusly began to crackle with electricity. If one were to approach this cloud barrier of sorts a simple touch would be enough to know traversing it would be no easy feat. It was uncertain whether this was a security measure to being invaded by two unknowns or not but it was made deathly apparent now that these two rogues were in, it would not be particularly easy to get out without some levels of exertion, along with any others who desired entry. Specifically to Kameyo alone and her sensory perceptions. When it came to these clouds. She would be unable to see beyond them let alone feel their presence aside from looking directly at them.
One somersaulting aerial ball landing later and the two would meet the alleged 'head guardsmen' "Cease thy invasive delinquency, state thy name, state thy purpose! Speculation weighs against you as the enemies scouting party, what other reason have you to ferry yourself across the sky to our village! You've nary wagon for trade, nary attire for leisure, the village no longer serves as a crossroads to other lands, the weights of distrust only grown heavier to longer you remain silent!" The guardian would strike a pose as flash coming off his helmet and fingertips and one could swear the sound of swishing steel. He had no idea what was going on with the clouds but by god he'd pretend he would.

Kameyo turned to Taketori with a pleased expression, taking the proffered salmon. She had only briefly started chewing on it when a village sentry appeared before them, speaking with unusual cadence. She was immediately intrigued. "The reason is mostly pleasure, only slightly business. Gimangakure is home to killers and my few friends, and I wish to explore beyond that. I also seek to share my contract with willing ninja, since my fish friends seem displeased to only have me to call on them - as I rarely do, and frankly, they love drama a little too much. Beyond that, I'm interested in discovering if there are any ninja here like me, as I find myself with little family. It really is mostly pleasure, though," she said earnestly. She thought it unlikely to find any jiongu nin, but nothing would make her happier.
"Oh, and the name's Kameyo. Just Kameyo." She smiled briefly, though her expression turned pensive as she wondered what the sentry meant by enemy scouting party. Were the villages in a conflict?

I accompany this one here," He motioned towards Kameyo with a slight movement of his head, "and seek understanding of what has transpired five years since I withdrew from these lands. "Your excuses for entry or permissive persuasion are laden with suspicion, if one has friends in the city of ne'er do wells then they themselves are more than likely ne'er do wells! However, " His pointer finger would then be between the young Jiongu's face white-gloved and pristine. "Your face expresses no hostility of a harlot and you..." the finger mover to Mr.Bones "Displayed an act of consideration before my watchful eye for this young lady despite looking incredibly suspicious in all manner of ways." part compliment, part insult about the boneman's looks. The sentai's arms would cross. He thanked the stars neither asked about the shaking electrical field of clouds behind them that a sensor could not feel nor penetrate. This added on to that they weren't attempting to glean information. He formed a Y with his arms to the sky. "Very well I grant you permissions for entry! However! Your actions will be monitored closely until you've attained proper notoriety from the Kage for your brief residency forsooth!" The two would be having eyes on them at all times it would seem from here on out once they entered the village, anything unscrupulous or illegal would not go unnoticed or unpunished. Then..several backwards summersaults in the air later to land atop the gate in a bowing Y pose the gates would open permitting entry.
Kameyo had opened her mouth to defend herself and her friends - but the sentry was correct. They tried their best but a village of crime was a village of crime. Kameyo had to believe that she was destined for more than striking from the shadows, especially with her medical know-how. She was flattered by the sentry's acknowledgement of Taketori's kindness - he was one of the kindest souls she knew - though she wasn't sure how appropriate it would be to argue the point of his appearance.
She nodded at the final decision. "I hope we are an entertaining show," she mused, hoping it came off more hopeful than devious. She did find herself hoping she wouldn't look stupid in front of all the other villagers. She spared a glance at Taketori, then gestured towards the newly opened gates - though she had many questions about the manner of which the sentry opened it. As she passed through, she made sure to remember her manners. "Thank you."

tab "You have not named yourself-" Taketori's formal protest was interrupted by the sound of fwhipping cloth as the village guard backflipped his way to the top of the gate and struck a pose. Taketori assumed it was some form of welcome, or perhaps greeting. He returned the greeting of his people, pounding his chest with once with his right hand to demonstrate the excellent strength and acoustic nature of his skeletal system. It thwumped nicely, the beat of a single high-bass subwoofer.
Taketori turned to Kameyo and confided in a low voice, "I do not understand this dialect fully." The thick black clouds surrounding them was strange as well. Perhaps it was a cultural or regional occurrence. Foreign lands always eliminated this sort of common sense within Taketori. So long as nothing conflicted with his own internalized code, he basically imagined anything strange was cultural, regional, and a regular occurrence. Who was to say this entire flying operation did not regularly become shrouded in charged storm clouds.

Taketori said as he followed her into a village he was certain would be filled with backflipping tights-clad sentai sun praisers. Passing through the gate afterwards, he shouted another attempt up at the guard, hoping the local dialect would not muddle the response.

The sentai would bend over raising the palm of someone trying to catch wind of someone as if he was hard of hearing. Which to a degree he was, what with being atop the gates an all. He seemed to be asking Taketori a legitimate question but it would seem to be made rhetorical before he could answer as another red somersaulting being emerged from what seemed to be his back or who knows where. "MOST UNDOUBTEDLY RIGHT IN EVERY WAY!" the somersaulting man would then as though it came naturally and instinctively, spread both his legs and landed atop the other's shoulders in perfect synchrony. "THE SOUND OF GIANTS AWAKENING!"THE STREAK ACROSS THE BREAK OF DAWN!THE NAME OF WHICH WE ARE KNOWN!" Both men spoke in perfect unison. THUNDERINGRED!WHITELIGHTENING! See this particular duo, not unlike the former twin kage shared in something, that something being this dynamic sentai duo were one in the same. Of course Taketori was likely asking for their 'real' names but he would have to settle for these aliases, as it seemed very much so this is what they preferred to be called. With that being what would appear to be White Lightening melting into his brothers shoulders would occur until he vanished inside of him.

Kameyo laughed when Taketori mentioned an interest in their cuisine. She hadn't thought of it, but she had a big interest, too. If she had worried about Taketori offending the sentry by demanding a name again, it was for naught. As she moved through the gate, she noticed the sentry appeared to double and then there were two of them. She was completely stunned by their... show. She felt the words Thundering Red and White Lightening echoing in her head like thunder as she reluctantly moved further into the village.
"Do you think everyone here talks like that?" Kameyo whispered. "Come on, I'll make sure you get something tasty while we're here."
