Eric nodded and placed the marble in his pocket "cya" "hey Eric, give me a boost."He rolled his eyes and a huge flower popped out of the ground under Jaster lifting him several stories high into the air. "whaa! Not what I meant!" he said almost losing his balance
He sighed and looked around
"ok, it looks all clear to advance." he sighed and sat down on the flower
"I wonder what this place was like before the darkness came"Alex's brother looked up at Jaster
"im coming with you guys.""nah man, your needed here to protect everyone here. Here, this will work better than your knife" he said as he opened his jacket and gave him a old looking keyblade charm
"just attach this to your dagger..." he did it for him and it turned into a white keyblade."whoa!"

Karatsu slowly made his way deeper into the city while the others conversed.He had over stayed his welcome already and needed to get what he came for.

Jaster saw Karatsu walk further into the city, he sighed
"I wonder whats up with him?"Eric tilted his head looking at what Jaster saw "he and others like him have always had...alterial motives" He smiled looking at Reiko whom was hugging Rice "you look so beautiful." he said Jaster sighed
"not a good time, Eric. We still need to discover what happened here to make it come out of the darkness.""your just jelous you've never been in love, Jaster," Eric said looking at him Jaster looked pained
"dammit, you know I had someone, I just..." he started to get angry but he calmed himself down
"this isnt a conversation for the now, we have to keep going. For all we know, this reprieve from the darkness could stop at any minute and we'd all be lost to it."

 Karatsu dashes off with a sense of urgency savaging around for ancient books and treasures on his quest to find what he came for.Tenebrea wasn't with him and Tagonia might not be accessible for long so Karatsu created several doppelgängers to comb the city. ". Lady Yosuzume will be pleased with my finding....if not Lady Jade always loves treasure. The Masked ones journal is scatter all over this city.I must be swift and collect them all; times of the essence. Soon Neuro and Tenebrea will go after the Neo.I need to be done before then. .

Reiko blushed as Eric teased her and smiled at him. She turned to Alex's brother. "(You should go back and protect your family.)"

Alex's brother laughed
"yeah" he ran off .Jaster shook his head looking back at Eric and Reiko
"my idea is that we look for that light that brought this world from the darkness and bring it back with us.""or we could stop the darkness from taking the world again." Jaster bit his lip, he was becoming bitter
"and if we can't, what do you suggest we do?""if the darkness is stronger than the light, i'll use my full power to stop it, or at least slow it down....to get everyone off this planet." He grumbled, his shadow was becoming longer than it was.
"ok Eric....then you lead this. I need to cool my head down" he said as it practially was on fire from the anger he suppressed.Eric tried not to laugh but he grinned "alright hot head." he said as a big hole opened up in the ground and a spout of water doused Jaster off. "better?" He sighed, his shadow was twice the size it was before
"better..." he grumbled

Reiko looked at Eric concerned before shaking her head and pushing her emotions back further. "(What's our first objective, love?)"

Eric blushed and then started to think "im not going to lose this world without a fight. Too much suffering...too much hurt. I agree that we need to find the one with the light that brought this world from the darkness, but we need to protect it and strenghten it to make sure this world doesnt fall back into darkness." The ground started to move but away from them "I sent out some roots to try to find that light, its faster than us right now."

Reiko smiled. "(I'd love to see this world back to normal. We could maybe stay here for a while. That carnival we were at earlier....It's main theme is love. It's quite popular for dates.)"

Eric blushed bright red "yeah, mabye once its all fixed up, we could go....together?" He grinned blushing and then he smelled something in the air, a familiar scent to him that he hadnt senced in a very long time, before he met Reiko "Harvey..." He looked at Reiko with sad eyes "I have to go, I need to save someone, someone I lost so long ago." he said dashing off. Jaster looked shocked
"damn, that boy can run. That must mean he picked up on Harvey's scent, let me explain, before he met you, he was new to the academy for the second time, he made 2 friends in the academy, Harvey and Chase. They were...well...." he shook his head side to side
"They were reminicent of the 3 keyblade knights. Eric being Terra in that arrangement. Chase had fallen into a deep sleep exactly like Ven and Harvey..." he sighed
"Eric risked his life, and mine, when she was kidnapped to Port Royal, well, that world at least. Right after she left with him, she got kidnapped again and no matter how much Eric tried to save her, she turned exactly into Aqua, looks, voice, everything, even her mind.....Eric never forgave himself for what happened to his friends. The three made a promise to protect eachother. So far, Eric has had a lot of Terra's trials, the overwhelming darkness. Hes....well...he has more trials than Terra ever had, with the time travel and all that, plus he truely loves you."
Jaster sighed rubbing his head.
"every time he thinks about those two, he gets into a really down mood, like he would be if something happened to you. He was manic depressive almost about to go off the deep end before he met you. I guess it was fate that was in play when you two first me."

Reiko blushed as much as Eric and nodded. "(I'd like that very much.)" When he took off, she frowned and looked at Jaster. "(I've never heard of that happening.)"

Jaster sighed
"The only reason I know of these events is that I was there. When you two first met, it was only a week after their falls and he wouldnt come out of the ventilation system of the academy saying it was all his fault for their fates. Heh, mom beat him up a lot too trying to beat some sence into him but each time, he only got worse and worse until his sister came for a bit...she also came from the future....it was a lot to have him see that it wasnt his fault..."
he looked to the ground
"Reiko, in a way, hes still a kid beating himself up for what happens to those closest to him. Before he met them, something pulled him to this time to witness his mother's murder. His life, the second time in this timeline, has been full of misfortunes and sadness. I wouldnt blame him for not wanting to talk about some things like this. If he kept it all bottled up, he'd be turning back to the darkness in no time, and he knows that."

Jaster walked forward and saw a shadow hunched down immediatly reconising it as Eric.
"Eric, you ok?"Eric looked up at Jaster and then looked up at Reiko "im sorry, Reiko" he sighs "I just...." he picked up a ragged blue cloth "I though I found one of my old friends....one I failed....to save." he sniffled Jaster patted Eric on the back
"there there, only time will tell if you can save them.""Comon! Give me a hint!" He shook his head no
"you know I cant. You think if I could have gone back to save someone close to me, I would. I can't. Her dying is something I cant change. If I give you any more information, you know history will change. For all we know, if I tell you anything more, you and Reiko will never be." Eric's face now looked really white. He didn't want to lose Reiko, not again. "ok....and I will do everything I can so I can.." he looked straight to Reiko "..to be with you, Reiko." he smiled then he looked down "I just... I hate losing my friends and family."
